feelthless Posted August 13, 2010 Posted August 13, 2010 Now. Whoever won - be smart enough and creative. Wear some kind of recorder hidden somewhere in you, and use it. Kthxbai. Quote
michaLPLP Posted August 13, 2010 Posted August 13, 2010 Sooo i also tried my luck...but I already won when the same thing took place with DBS last year so I guess my luck is exhausted Quote
HybridThe0ry97 Posted August 13, 2010 Posted August 13, 2010 That's an awesome opportunity; I just realized there are about 30 days remaining until the album is released. Quote

ana Posted August 13, 2010 Author Posted August 13, 2010 its not about being afraid, its just respecting the band's decision. If they want previews, they'll give you some. Quote
zaneroks94 Posted August 13, 2010 Posted August 13, 2010 (edited) Wow synthpop, that's a genre that surely is uncommon. I don't think I've ever heard anything in that genre before...perhaps LP is going to create an entirely new genre. But I'd call it synthrock. The Catalyst was way to heavy in vocals and lyrics to be pop. Perhaps we should just call this new genre simply "synth". And that interview...wish there was an english translation. My genre could comprehend all the way up the point when the guy just starts talking really fast..then I couldn't keep up Edited August 13, 2010 by zaneroks94 Quote
StefanLPR Posted August 13, 2010 Posted August 13, 2010 (edited) They said "It's not Rap Rock or Nu Metal, it's Hip Hop, Prog Rock, and Synth Pop. A freaky mixture and very experimental." Edited August 13, 2010 by StefanLPR Quote
Qwerty18 Posted August 13, 2010 Posted August 13, 2010 They said "It's not Rap Rock or Nu Metal, it's Hip Hop, Prog Rock, and Synth Pop. A freaky mixture and very experimental." Sounds way more promising than only synthpop. Quote
xefuzion Posted August 14, 2010 Posted August 14, 2010 Wow synthpop, that's a genre that surely is uncommon. I don't think I've ever heard anything in that genre before... you're joking... right? Quote
Ashwhisker Posted August 14, 2010 Posted August 14, 2010 Wow synthpop, that's a genre that surely is uncommon. I don't think I've ever heard anything in that genre before... Have you ever listened to the radio before? Quote
arbiter Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 I don't think they will perform those songs. Almost every song they are now playing are singles exept for No More Sorrow and Hands Held High. Lying From You was a single too MTV used the Live In Texas version. I think it was the last single from Meteora if i remember correctly. EDIT: Why would they even play songs that would only please a small percent of the crowd They play singles because the majority knows them. In addition to the two you mentioned, The Little Things Give You Away In Between Valentine's Day A Place for My Head Pushing Me Away Don't Stay None of them are singles, and yet, LP have always played them on their tour. So i honestly don't get why people like you spew this bullshit of LP never playing none singles. Good grief. Quote

So i honestly don't get why people like you spew this bullshit of LP never playing none singles. Good grief. Hey you. read more. Nobody said that all LP plays are singles. Jani said "almost all". That said, they do play most if not all of their singles, and they have played all of their album songs at least once. Singles get priority though. That's pretty much it Quote
ana Posted August 15, 2010 Author Posted August 15, 2010 I'm not going. So I hope micha asks them about figure09 And good luck to the others Quote
silent_control Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 I think they wont come to Germany just for this interview. Do u guys know some more promo-dates down here somewhere? TV-shows or something? Quote
ana Posted August 16, 2010 Author Posted August 16, 2010 Dave and Mike will be in Hamburg on friday Quote
ChuckCheese Posted August 16, 2010 Posted August 16, 2010 Anyone know whether or not they'll be listening to the full album or just a preview? Quote
Ashwhisker Posted August 16, 2010 Posted August 16, 2010 Anyone know whether or not they'll be listening to the full album or just a preview? I don't actually know, but I would think that it's the whole album like they did with OOA. Quote
ChuckCheese Posted August 16, 2010 Posted August 16, 2010 Yeah, I just heard it's gonna be the full album. Lucky ducks. Quote
