The group offers fans the opportunity to do a remix of "The Catalyst", the first single from her new album "A Thousand Suns", which goes on sale next September 14

through its official website (www.linkinpark.com), Linkin Park has announced the launch of her new album "A Thousand Suns" for the next 14 September. The album is co-produced by Rick Rubin (U2, Johnny Cash) and catante Mike Shinoda of Linkin Park, who also produced the band's album "Minutes to Midnight" (2007).

The group also announced the launch of MySpace with the initiative "featuring Linkin Park .... It yourself", a promotion for the first time offers fans the opportunity to participate with Linkin Park and create a remix of the theme " The Catalyst ", the first single from his new album, which will make its world premiere at radio on 2 August and will also appear in your Myspace profile (http://www.myspace.com/linkinpark).

Linkin Park will choose the winner and the prize could be the inclusion of his work on the new album or even an invitation to play with Linkin Park in one of the themes of this record.

The period begins today July 9th at 20:59. Fans should go to: myspace.com / linkinpark and download the audio tracks of the single "The Catalyst" and adapt, as well as record and produce their own song. Participants can use their software to create the song and send it through the group's MySpace page Linkin Park.

The action "featuring Linkin Park .... It-yourself is the beginning of a global partnership between the band and Myspace which will have many phases over the next four months, during which fans around the world will have access to shows live, exclusive content and special opportunities to interact with the group in a way never before possible through the MySpace platform.
