1996_LP Posted December 31, 2009 Posted December 31, 2009 Forgive me if this is just another silly/pointless poll, but I wanted to see what the majority on LPL thought was the best new/old LP song of 2009 It was orginaly going to be just "New Divdie" vs "Across the line" but i thought it was only fair "she couldn't" was included too considering how unexpected that track was. Geki Posted December 31, 2009 Posted December 31, 2009 I voted for Across The Line...I love that song. Quote
linkinpark1 Posted January 1, 2010 Posted January 1, 2010 I voted acoss the line, across the line and she couldn't totally beat new divide, i think i like ATL and she couldnt the same or maybe even a lil bit more love for she couldn't cause its so soft and stuf like that, but across the line has much better quality so i gave it the vote Quote
Ashwhisker Posted January 1, 2010 Posted January 1, 2010 As much as I like all three of them, She Couldn't and Across The Line definitely have the most personality, and I just prefer the older LP sound to Across The Line. Quote
gtrnowak4tkd Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 definitely across the line. its such an amazing song. Quote
MONDREUS240 Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 New Divide; I think it has better lyrics then ATL ans SC. Plus I think theres a reason why I listened to it 150 times on my Ipod in the first week of its release. Quote
immortalsoul Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 "New Divide" but I also liked "Across The Line" a lot while "She Couldn't" didn't really do it for me. Quote
LPMaskMan Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 (edited) A-Six original long version bitches. Edited January 2, 2010 by lpmaskmancick Quote
Geki Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 A-Six original long version bitches. Ok...except A-Six wasn't a poll option and the song is from 2002... Quote
feelthless Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 (edited) Ok...except A-Six wasn't a poll option and the song is from 2002... She Couldn't is from 1999 , right? edit: and atl is from 2007 i believe Edited January 17, 2010 by feelthless Quote
1996_LP Posted January 17, 2010 Author Posted January 17, 2010 She Couldn't is from 1999 , right? edit: and atl is from 2007 i believe Well, technically yeh... but they where offically released (or in 'she couldn't' case "discovered") in 2009. I would have put A.06 on there as well but as its not really a proper song so it doesnt really count. Besides, the other three are "standalone" tracks kinda like Dedicated and No Roads left, so if those to where held back and released in '09, they'd be in the poll too. Quote
Xero21 Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 I'm going with New Divide. Personally I don't like Across The Line. Lyrics are eh, very pop sound too. Though as far as the pop goes New Divide isn't much better. Quote
JZLP-Benningstrong Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 Across The Line it's great as a single it could have been great my girlfriend love ATL Imagine Across the line with the In Pieces solo.... Quote
Qwerty18 Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 I voted for Across The Line , although I'm really enjoying New Divide and She Couldn't too. But ATL has that feel to it which does it better to me... Quote
leftshoe18 Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 i picked across the line because i think it's one of the best linkin park songs released since hybrid theory but i agree with a few who said that the lyrics are pretty weak...but then again - so are the lyrics to so many linkin park songs (new divide and she couldn't aren't exactly examples of better lyrics either) Quote
JoeyLP Posted March 13, 2010 Posted March 13, 2010 "New Divide" but I also liked "Across The Line" a lot while "She Couldn't" didn't really do it for me. +1 Quote
hawk Posted March 19, 2010 Posted March 19, 2010 New Divide has got to be my favourite, followed by Across the Line and then She Couldn't. Quote
OZZY Posted March 19, 2010 Posted March 19, 2010 Voted awhile ago lol, but it was a tough choice between ND and ATL. Although for me ATL takes the cake, its just heaps catchier than ND like its got a good rythm for rock and to move to at the same time. SC is still good but i rarely listen to it. Just out of the softies currently. Quote
SpikeMinoda Posted March 19, 2010 Posted March 19, 2010 New Divide for sure at the beginning the performance sucked xD but it became better and better from every show! so it's my fav LP song of 2009 Quote
LPPRJKT4 Posted March 19, 2010 Posted March 19, 2010 Honestly I have to say New Divide, after M2M, this was LP's comeback. Quote
LPxDC Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 Across The Line. I hope that gets on an LP setlist one can dream since its considered a fanclub song but qwerty got played so one can hope Quote
