RogueSoul
Just a week before From Zero is unleashed upon the world, Linkin Park performed what may just be their heaviest song ever at the Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas. Check out the world premier of their new song 'Casualty' live in Texas: Mike during the bridge: "If ever there was ever a time at a Linkin Park show to show us the biggest pit that you can... Some of you motherfuckers haven't been in a pit in like ten years! Don't you miss it? You gonna show us you still got it?" Some really insane stuff from the band here. Mike sounds like he's in Rage Against The Machine and the bridge feels like I'm watching Linkin Park play 'Spit It Out' by Slipknot. What a time to be alive! The band also debuted 'All For Nothing' from The Hunting Party at the show, playing it with guest Page Hamilton from Helmet, who opened the show. This is the second song from the album to receive its live debut this year, after 'Keys To The Kingdom' featured in a handful of sets in September. #JusticeForTheHuntingParty has truly come! Check out the show page for more notes and details: https://linkinpedia.com/wiki/Live:20241108 The band continues the tour next week with their first show in Colombia ever on November 11 and two shows in São Paulo, Brazil on From Zero release day (November 15) and November 16. At this rate, will we get another live debut, perhaps in Brazil? Show #1 in Brazil is being livestreamed, so we'll be ready for all the action. YRQRM0
I was in that Casualty pit, unreal man. And I really did not expect AFN to actually happen, crazy stuff
Hybrider
Holy shit. This is the best song on the album. Absolute banger.

leftshoe18
I'm so happy to see All for Nothing finally get its debut. The list of The Hunting Party songs not played live continues to shrink! When can we expect Mark the Graves? Edit: Somebody needs to update the page! NJPLP
Maybe they should consider playing "Powerless" live, since that's the only song from 'Living Things' to not be played live.

yagamilight207
Not sure if the bridge is part of the song but it reminds me of the scratches joe did for part of me.

NimaLP
I'm so happy they finally played All For Nothing, and what a better way to play it with Page. I wouldn't be surprised if it was a one-and-done thing since Helmet happened to be on the lineup. Very cool moment, but a decade too late in my opinion. The performance was good but the song doesn't hit as much as it used to when it first came out. Happy for everyone who got to see that in person. Casualty sounds sick as fuck. I can't wait to listen to the studio version. The way the song started immediately reminded me of Keys To The Kingdom. Clearly a pit song. Kinda' weird getting that pit going in the middle of a Linkin Park set, since we've been used to that part being mostly the mellow part, but I love it. Every song from this album so far feels like it has things from previously released songs which makes them easier to connect with fans. Not a fan of saying stuff like "this song is a mixture of MTM with LT blah blah blah", but this one feels more like THP-ish.
KeysToTheLinkinPark
Man, what do we have here? A song that starts off like KTTK, has hardcore-punk/thrash-metal drums like songs from THP, has scratching from the early 2000s, Mike channeling his inner RATM vocals and Em going absolutely nuts, a bridge that just has a “jump the fuck up” Slipknot moment. All in the year 2024. The setup at Globe Life Field certainly doesn't help the song. It's defninitely one of the top 5 heaviest LP songs, right? Bebro
page hamilton pitch seems to be 90% of times correct, but he still sounds weird

It never even appealed to the fans of two first records. Not to mention the only-singles fans. If we were talking about a single that never got it's live debut, yes, it has came out too late. But since it's an album for the minority, the impact is the same now than 10 years ago.
LeonardoMF93
Casualty seems like it’s going to be a fan favorite, even though it won’t become a single. Something similar happened with A Place For My Head. Honestly, it sounded like a Slipknot song in some parts. Now, I think the live version of All For Nothing was underwhelming. It wasn’t the band’s fault, but I didn’t like Page Hamilton’s performance (it seemed like he was having some technical issues). nickishere12345
ALL FOR NOTHING AHHHHHHHH ive been waiting for the band to bless a crowd of five-star general infantry controllers for years, so glad it finally happened. Page sounded absolutely terrible though, I want them to keep playing it but with Mike singing the chorus. Casualty is crazy, can’t wait to hear the studio version
unksoldier2000
All for Nothing is the best track in THP, i mean the whole album is underrated, but that song didn't deserve that tbh i didn't found Casualty that special... Mike's flows reminds me a song from NFSU2 i need to hear the studio version, but i didn't get hyped as the review dude state it was. too much "punk rock" to me. not even the scratch part catch me... (i think that it uses the same sample from Crawling?) Edited Saturday at 02:13 PM by unksoldier2000
martinez
Can't say if Casualty is good I barely hear the music in the video that's in the main post.

That few seconds sounds like deathcore. I am mega hyped.

Yeah, reviews can create expectations and sometimes they can disappoint. But my exceptations were low after I heard Over Each Other. On Casualty, I am very pleasantly surprised. I hope album leaks soon because this last week before release will be long.
NimaLP
I just hope that this would open the door for more deep cuts to be played in rotations or get their live debut. Especially for songs from THP or LT, such as Powerless, War, Mark The Graves, I'll Be Gone (which I think Emily would sound amazing on all of them). I'd love to see a couple slots in the setlist for deep cuts rotation in each tour. I hope they keep having fun with the setlist and the shows so we would get more exciting stuff like AFN debut. This 2024 tour has been a really great experience for the band and the fans to adjust. 2025 is gonna be a monster year if things go as good as they have been so far. Talking about rotation Mike solo should have a rotation spot, yeah RTN its his signature song and get the crowds going but it got a bit repetitive. He should do one of his solo songs, fm or another stuff like It's Going Down.
