Hopefully, you're right with that being the date of the announcement and the release date of "Lost".

January 25th would make sense. It’s two months before the official anniversary. I’m hoping that’s the day we’ll get to hear Lost. It’s only three days away, so I guess we’ll see…

It would probably happen at 7 AM PST (or 10 AM EST), similar to when they announced HT20 at the same time on August 13th, 2020.

I did a small research by comparing the original and 20th anniversary edition album release dates of Hybrid Theory and Meteora:

 

-Hybrid Theory (Original Album)

Release Date: October 24, 2000 (Tuesday)

 

-Hybrid Theory (20th Anniversary Edition Album)

Release Date: October 9, 2020 (Friday)

-Meteora (Original Album) 

-Release Date: March 25, 2003 (Tuesday)

 

-Meteora (20th Anniversary Edition Album) 

-Release Date: March 10, 2023 (Friday)

 

What do you see? and what is your reaction? 

 

Note: The release date of Meteora (20th Anniversary Edition Album) is just my theory, not official.
