LPU 13 Wishlist

This great release of Reanimation Internal CD makes me think about LPU 13 tracklist, also about that except Pts.Of.Athrty (Crystal Method Remix) they never release Reanimation Remix as LPU track. (why?).

 

 

here's my wishlist:

1. My December (Team Sleep Remix)

2. Figure.09 (Singing Verses)/Somewhere I Belong (Demo) [one of them lol]

3. No Roads Left (Chester's Vocals)

4. Meteora (Full B-Side)

5. Pictureboard/Another Xero Demo

6. A Thousand Suns (Full B-Side)

7. With You (Feat. Ryu) (Reanimation Remix)

8. Mr. Hahn Instrumental

9. Leave Out All The Rest (Mike's Full Version)/The Little Things Give You Away (All Mike's Vocals)

10. Living Things Demo

I need a demo of Given Up. I don't care what else is on the CD. I probably won't get a Given Up demo. Lately the LPU CD's consist of mostly just boring instrumentals so I don't expect much anymore. I would rather have live tracks from before 2007 instead of instrumentals. They also keep putting demos that we pretty much already have, ITE + Esaul + Points + Forgotten with minor small changes. Stupid. I also would love the version of NRL with Chester on vocals. Will never happen either. We make these wishlists but never get anything we ask for every year. Seriously, I would want this.

I think the next LPU CD will have 5 instrumentals + 5 songs with vocals just like the last 3 CDs.

They know exactly what we already have, that's why the Hybrid Theory demos always have small differences, but I really wish they would stop releasing this kind of stuff and start releasing full songs from Meteora or A Thousand Suns sessions.

I'm also okay with old songs nobody ever heard about like "Slip", "Blue" and "So Far Away".

at least "can't release" means it's there, somewhere, maybe someday it will "leaked".

 

In The End & Esaul (Demos) was totally unnecessary in LPU11, but i'm not complaining, everything which is not LPU7 case (aka DSP Collection) it's fine with me.

LPU12 didn't have complete vocals on any demo except for Points Of Authority and Forgotten, both of which we have already had for many years (there are a few MINOR differences, that's it). I think LPU12 is the worst LPU CD so far that contains demos (since LPU9). I was hyped up because I thought the MTM demos would have vocals, considering how they wrote music on that album by doing scat vocals and stuff, but I was wrong. Debris would have been cool if it had vocals in the second verse, and Asbestos would have been good with some chorus vocals from Chester. I also thought Homecoming DEFINITELY got full vocals at some point. You can just tell. A complete demo with intro, verse, chorus, verse, chorus, breakdown, chorus. Reminds me a lot of LOATR, ATL, WID, etc. LPUX is the best so far IMO. I loved those demos. Such good songs. LPU9 was good too because it had demos of songs we all know and love, that was awesome, plus the epic ATL. LPU11 was awesome too, with Slip and Blue, both cool tracks to have.

Some post-Minutes to Midnight stuff would be nice...95% of the demos we've gotten since LPU 9 started the trend of releasing a demo CD every year have been from 2007 or earlier, which was cool at first when 2007 was just "a couple years ago," but we all know they've still got plenty of A Thousand Suns-era stuff in the vault. Might be a little soon for Living Things demos, but I wouldn't say no to those either.

I think Esaul was different than others we had, but yes, In the End was just Untitled with a random bass note at the end. Forgotten on LPU12 was just Rhinestone, but Points of Authority was slightly different

Nice wishlist. In reality, what do you guys think we will get? New songs we have never heard, or demos of songs we all know and love? LPU9 was basically demos of songs we all know and love, but LPUX had all new demos, LPU11 and LPU12 had demos that we've all had for ages basically. Hmm. I still think the LPU should let a poll happen, of what fans would want, the highest votes get the demos.
