  1. Since I don't speak German, I used Google Translate to read those pages. There might be some mistakes there, but seems like Wikipedia is saying the rap verses came from a poem by Chester while the fan site used as a source says the original "ballad" demo was created by Chester. https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/In_the_End#Entstehung https://web.archive.org/web/20160405054116/http://www.hybridsoldier.de/lpr/index.php?p=7&sub=14&sid=8 I'm not sure about Chester's involvement on Mike's rap, but I know for a fact Mike wrote the original piano demo by himself and it already included the chorus lyrics. There are several interviews where he stated that: http://linkinpedia.com/index.php?title=In_The_End#Background
  2. What's the source of this?

  4. All three songs: https://www.facebook.com/groups/lpneighborhood/permalink/1849534921736142/ You need to join the group to watch it.
  5. Mike said About You was basically a bunch of random stuff thrown together, kinda like he did with Until It Breaks. Not sure if that includes demos from One More Light.
  6. I'd like to point out the people listed on the main post aren't the only collaborators on the album. "About You" also features Basecamp, Ross Golan (who worked on Halfway Right) was also involved with "Running From My Shadow", and let's not forget the percussion on "Place To Start" was recorded by Rob Bourdon. I'm pretty sure we will hear about more people being involved with the album. Yeah, he said he sent the song to the rest of the band.
  7. Slip and Esaul were written with Mark Wakefield. Boris Bouma (from Epidemic) said they were still called Xero when he auditioned for the band. Chester was supposedly the one who came up with the name Hybrid Theory.
  8. Place To Start isn't on the playlist...
  9. Interview with Mike: https://etcanada.com/news/321627/linkin-parks-mike-shinoda-talks-raw-new-album-sometimes-you-just-have-to-feel-sad/
  10. AMC posted about the theme being composed by Mike Shinoda back in 2015. The track credited to Warrior Blade is the exact same track used on the opening sequence. There are 3 Into The Badlands entries on BMI, all credited to Mike Shinoda: INTO THE BADLANDS | INTO THE BADLANDS MAIN TITLE THEME | INTO THE BADLANDS-BG CUES My guess is that Warrior Blade is Mike Shinoda and they had to use that name due to some legal issue with Warner.
  11. Yeah, The Messenger was written for his kids. He later changed the lyrics for the final version. I don't know about the music, but his vocals on Blackout and Keys To The Kingdom were basically him "freestyling."
  12. The DVD comes with a mp3 version of the show. You can access it on your computer.

  19. Where did he say that?
  20. It was never meant to be free. When it first came out Linkin Park sent codes to LPU members to download the Linkin Park Edition for free. Everyone else had to buy it.
  21. You can see it on PC too. At least until last year (when they offered it for free) the LP bundles were still in the store. The files didn't have the song titles anymore.
  22. It's on their in-app store.
  23. It's on the main post. lol
  24. I'd say current version but add a note. I think it's the same case as the Steve Aoki tribute mashup.
