Stuff leak. It happens. It's not the first time and won't be the last. It was a released by LP Community on VK (note it says "exclusive"). It doesn't really matter how they got it. Just be glad they did. No one has questioned exclusives by LPLive, LPAssociation, LPCatalog, LPFuse or whatever in the past. I don't understand why you guys are making such a big deal about their source.

Unreleased Massive Attack Linkin Park Remix
lpliveusername replied to hahninator's topic in Newswire
I think the remix might have been created around 2003. There's a remix album for 100th Window released in 2006 but it's basically a compilation of remixes from singles. The Butterfly Caught single was released in 2003 and features a huge amount of remixes of the song. Maybe Mike was one of the artists who remixed it back then but they decided not to release it because they didn't think it was that good and they already had enough remixes. -
Julien-K Honor Chester in "Time Capsule" Release
lpliveusername replied to hahninator's topic in Newswire
"Soon." Last chat I watched, Ryan said it would be out a couple months after the physical release, but according to Mark, Ryan said (probably in a more recent chat) it would be on Amazon in "a week or so." -

Yes. -
Yes. I want to add it to our Downloads page along with the Xero tracks and a few demos and alternative versions of collaborations. Yeah, it's the same track from 2000 Fold.

Julien-K Honor Chester in "Time Capsule" Release

http://lplive.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=12602&page=2&do=findComment&comment=276781 The order of the tracks on the first disc was changed, but it still contains the same tracks. Nothing was changed on the other discs. The Transformers soundtrack isn't listed there because it was kind of a last minute addition due to the campaign raising more money than they needed. Chester was around a lot during the Death To Analog sessions. He helped creating vocals for a lot of the songs created around that time. It's possible every 2004-2009 song had Chester's hand on it somehow. He just doesn't sing on them. -
Julien-K Honor Chester in "Time Capsule" Release

Three. He is also rumored to be featured on the Maestro remix, but there's no confirmation from the band as far as I know. There are more tracks if you count "executive producer" as being featured, but this isn't a Chester Bennington album and was never intended to be. This is a Julien-K release for Julien-K fans. They have been working on it for about 3 years, so it was started way before Chester passed away. I personally think it's awesome they gave us so much unreleased material like that. The whole set is great and they did a really great work on the booklet. I love reading about songs I like. -

Help / Support Questions
lpliveusername replied to SouthernGirlAM's topic in Information and Support
No music videos since they're available for purchase on iTunes and other stores. You can check what's available in digital format here: http://lplive.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=11162 If the free download is something that isn't available through any official channels anymore, it's okay to share it here. -
Thanks for the info. Very interesting. I knew about Fire, the source is on Linkinpedia. We'll try to find the videos with the others. 20 Eyes isn't just a Misfits cover, they wrote a few new lines for it and the structure was changed a little.

I don't remember it being a pre-order bonus track. The remix was a downloadable bonus track for some physical editions of the album. Any chance that's what is listed there?

Yesterday, February 20, the Grand Prize Winner of the Stagelight Monthly Music Contest II, Lauren Dair, met with Mike Shinoda and Brad Delson at Red Bull Studios in Los Angeles to work on an original of hers. Look forward for a release in the future and make sure to listen to her winning entry, 'Monster,' here. Check some pictures from the session here, here and here. As you all might remember this isn't the first time members of Linkin Park have entered the studio with a fan for a mentoring session or to act as producers. Zayed Hassan, winner of the first Stagelight Monthly Music Contest met with the band at the same studio in 2015, resulting in the single 'Sailing Through The Clouds.' Back in 2013, the band held a contest called LPU Sessions for fan club members which resulted in the band collaborating with Beta State and Ryan Giles in two tracks that were included in the LPU XIII CD: 'Change' and 'Truth Inside A Lie.' Lastly, Mike partnered with WeMix in 2008 for a songwriting contest in which contestants had to submit original songs inspired by Mike's paintings. It resulted in Zii entering the Encore Studios in Burbank with Mike to perfect his winning entry, 'Stories Of The Lost.'

The Delson Brothers' 'Willing To Try' Coming Soon?
lpliveusername replied to RogueSoul's topic in Newswire
Update: Greg Delson is no longer going to use his own name for the album. He has launched a new project called Landlights which, for him, is essentially what Fort Minor was to Mike Shinoda. You can listen to his debut single here: https://www.landlightsmusic.com Let's hope the song with Brad make it to the album. -
I think the Mall songs don't need to be released anywhere else. It's (kinda) a soundtrack album by Linkin Park after all. I do think it would be cool to have non-album tracks compiled into one place and released by the band at some point. Stuff like Not Alone, Issho Ni, Lockjaw, Final Masquerade (Acoustic), etc. We could use an upgrade for some of those.

Isn't the It's Goin' Down single on iTunes in some countries? I noticed your site only lists the lossless version from qobuz.

Here's the source in case anyone's wondering: https://www.instagram.com/p/Be3TnntjGRw/ Also, some more information from the Facebook chat: - They have been working on this project for two years; - A limited amount of CDs will be available in the official store; - A digital release will happen about a month or two after the physical release; - There's a dedicatory to Chester at the end of the booklet; - "Future Retrospective" was a tentative title for the Dead By Sunrise album; - They asked Chester for permission to use this title as well as the live tracks featuring him; - The next campaign might be for a California Noir vinyl; - They're still not sure if Harmonic Disruptor will be an EP or a full album; - They would love to work with Mike Shinoda again and said they will give him a call.
