  1. Why though? I never got why the US crowd is THAT bad compared to other countries.
  2. Sadly I couldn't be there, but I know many people in LP Spain so I'm sure they will have fun tonight (hopefully no spanish fan boos them during the show). What? I honestly never heard a single song from them, are they any good?
  3. My feeling is that Chester tried to save his voice for the more heavier parts to spit it all out. He sounded really good yesterday and I can't think of any other reason. It's gonna be the same case today in France, can't wait to see what they're going to do.
  4. Call me crazy, but I really don't care if it's a WID clone, I actually enjoy that song live.
  5. As usual, some fans are kinda dicks towards people who genuinely enjoys different stuff from the casual live songs. It only has been, what? Not even a month since they started play live again, but you apparenly want changes already and not expect a few months until they know what sounds good and what not. But hey, keep complaining and thinking about yourself, not what others may feel respectfully.
  6. I'm sure you love the album by now. The "hate" for OML is so last week.
  7. I think both Beijing 2015 and Smokeout 2003 he was sweating not actually crying but still, they were excelent perfomances. That OML perfomance is probably his best one yet, I can't think of another emotional moment now, maybe the show after 9/11 in Berlin? They were mad though, not necessarily crying. Ugh, I wish that Smokeout proshot would come out someday.
  8. I rated the album on another post and I don't feel like I should type a long ass review (not that I am a music expert or a producer able to do that). I can say a couple of things though: I agree with some people here, I didn't understood why Heavy was a Single, either OML or Talking to Myself could have been better choices for me. Overall I'm not jumping around like how I did with ATS, that album to this day still for me likely their best one yet. There's some good solid songs, other could have been better but I applaud them for keep trying newer things on the creative aspect. Can't wait for the next record in a few years, personally, I wouldn't want as much involvement from people outside the band as this album had wich I don't mind if they do, but not heavily.
  9. 01. Nobody Can Save Me 6/10 02. Good Goodbye (feat. Pusha T and Stormzy) 3/10 03. Talking to Myself 9/10 04. Battle Symphony 7/10 05. Invisible 5/10 06. Heavy (feat. Kiiara) 5/10 07. Sorry for Now 6/10 08. Halfway Right 4/10 09. One More Light 10/10 10. Sharp Edges 6/10 I thought Recharged was even more poppier than this. There's a couple of songs that definitely sound and will sound better live (hopefully). I'm fine with some of the rest, OML is the highlight.
  10. One of the most talented singers in the past 25 years. Such a shame, RIP Chris.
  11. Not every fan knows that and it's obvious their reaction towards many brazilian fans always demanding a show on every single pic the band shares on social media. Yes, they're as loud as maybe Russians or Indians (wich sadly they never got any show there yet, wonder why) and it's one of the reasons I feel ashamed of being from where I live (Spain). In all history we've got 6 shows in total, 2001, wich included 3 concerts when they were touring with Deftones, 2008, 2010 and the upcoming Download Madrid festival one.
  12. I will never forget the first time I heard the whole album, beginning to end, it was a beautiful and different experience (ATS topped it 3 years later). I also do remember reading a very condescending critic towards the album: http://www.nme.com/reviews/album/reviews-linkin-park-8533. Sure it happened the same with ATS or other albums, but this one I wasn't sure how to take it. I still to this day enjoy this album overall and needless to say it sounds amazing live. I still want to hear Chester's version, but my favorite is indeed No Roads Left.
  13. I listened LT all over again yesterday. It's far from a masterpiece but far from a disaster. I get the rushed out part cause they made that album like, in a few months (while being on Tour, they always weren't in NRG)? THP had more time to make and technically it was better, though, I still prefer LT over THP personally.
  14. Not Rubin anymore. Choose someone else if so.
  15. COME FASTER, MORE FASTER, EVERY YEAR, EVERY MONTH AND EVERY WEEK. Seriously though, I don't really get why some Brazilian fans are very loud about them coming to their country, they go pretty much on evey tour cicle.
  16. Agree to disagree. I think they wrote some better lyrics than most of the final versions on the first 2 albums, with Rubin, that was another story. LT a disaster? I actually enjoyed a couple of songs from that album, it's been a while since I listened to it though.
  17. So according to some comments here, this is basically Hybrid Theory part 3 Pop version: "They're making music for the masses, not for themselves" without Don Gilmore or Warner telling them how to sound. It's what I understood. To a certain degree I could agree, but it doesn't take away that some of these songs have potential of sounding just fine live. Still, I will hear the whole thing on the 19th to be sure if I dig this or not so much, time will tell.
  18. Of course, cause I'm that type of person who praises everything that I like without any criticism, yep. Some LP fans are known for being so kind and open minded about new ideas right? I'm talking about in general, not just this forum. Not trying to say people necessarily who commented here were hostile, not even close, but sometimes I feel like some complain for small things like this, not even constructive criticism.
  19. ATS was leaked a week or two before the worldwide release. Unless that date was an official release, then I've never heard of it.
  20. If only they would stop showing Mercedes cars all over the place then I could enjoy this much more. Be more subtle the next time please, Jesus.
  21. Gotta love some people are already angry about their first show of the OML cicle, can't imagine how's gonna be in the US tour in a few months lol. I actually appreciate a shake-up after the long drowned setlist of 2014-2015, never enjoyed it at all like how I did with 2010-2011 (personal favorite) and 2012-2013. It's a nice start and I agree that the order they played some songs felt weird, but still, I enjoyed it. Easily the highlight of the show was either ITE acapella by the crowd or LOATR, got tired of the Ballad Medley after a while and that felt 100 times more enjoyable and fresh, couldn't have asked a better change.
  22. I really liked it. Can't wait to hear the studio version and find out if it sounds as good.
