  1. They haven't played it for over 15 years. I don't think now suddenly they will touch something like that, it would feeld weird cause it doesn't match the current album cicle style.
  2. Never knew they actually tried to make a show in 2002, I get why cause they were making Meteora but still, that was a dick move by them. I'm sure their mgmt changed over time right? There's no way they're gonna tell them no again.
  3. How so? I don't think they're THAT strict.
  4. Definitely. They used some of the official instrumentals that we've got a few years ago, with the exception of ITE, being the Rock Band instrumental version, and Nobody's Listening, wich it sounds like a typical terrible edited fan made instrumental.
  5. Honestly. I'd take Wretches and Kings over a track like In the End or Numb. They have played those 2 songs so many f*cking times I'm somehow tired of them (unless they decided to play Enth E Nd again since 2006 but that's unlikely). I like their old stuff but anyone who absolutely denies that they haven't produced good quality songs after Meteora, especially for their live shows, they're lying to themselves. Different cicles, different music, different mindset. When I watch their House of Blues show in 2001 I don't think about RTR or Madrid 2010, I think about House of Blues, my mind it's on that place, that era. When I watch RTR or Madrid 2010, my mind is there, not at House of Blues or how "better" their shows were in the early days. Maybe I have this hability of knowing how and when to separate my feelings when I watch their shows, older or newer, I rarely think like this with other artists and bands.
  6. Astat said it perfectly once. People take Mike's word literally and they create their own expectations about the upcoming album to lately be likely disappointed.
  7. Seems appropriate for the 10th anniversary. Can't freaking wait, I love MTM. And if only No Roads Left was added to it but I don't think so.
  8. I think either Guitar Hero or Rock Band released a few more songs last year or in 2015 but no one was able to decrypt them.
  9. I second this. ATS was such a fun album as a whole to hear play it live. One of my personal favorite cicles.
  10. Gotta be honest. It's quite sad that fans are the only ones who bother to find stuff like this instead of the band actually once in a while releasing exclusive stuff (either releasing it on iTunes, Amazon, etc or LPU), it wouldn't take that much time. I know they don't want to look back and I'm sure they're proud of what they've made, but they need to be aware that some hardcore fans still appreciate to hear more rare and unreleased tracks and not just demos on the LPU. With that said, I hope some good human being finds that treasure even if it's buried deep down the ocean.
  11. If only the band could actually release some kind of compilation of rare & unreleased songs, THAT would be very appreciated by the hardcore fanbase, I don't get why they don't do that. I love the rawness and Mike's early flow here.
  12. Not bad, I dig it. I wanna hear the studio version, maybe it's actually good if it's not too overproduced.
  13. I lol'd at the end so hard. While I actually enjoyed what they played there and not the original new song, it's really tiring to see some people still wanting HT part 3 at this point. Funny touch by Mike & Chester wich sadly a lot of people are gonna take it seriously 100% as an insult like if they were mocking Hybrid Theory.
  14. They seriously need to do more stuff like this. I wasn't impresed by Heavy at first, but holy crap, it suprised me how good it sounded here, and holy shit, BID sounded 100 times better than the original version, studio or live.
  15. The way Chester sang on the new video reminded me of the early version of Blackout during that LPTV "Blackout Freestyle". So I guess that's not gonna be the final form.
  16. Positive vibes guys, no need to fight like the little kids from the photo. Let's not jump out to conclussions yet until the whole thing comes out.
  17. That happened to me with The Catalyst. Didn't felt it the first couple of times until I heard it play it live, holy shit, it sounded so good. It became one of my favorite songs to hear live during the ATS tour cycle.
  18. So it's MTM/ATS all over again? This is it? Don't assume they're gonna do something really shitty just because you don't like the guest artist (wich is fine if you personally don't like it) but I wouldn't let my expectations go before time, in my opinion.
  19. No more SA dates? I hoped for more suprises, like Colombia, Venezuela or even Ecuador, but sadly isn't the case. Now likely they will focus on all of those cancelled US shows, Asia, Africa (who knows) and Australia/New Zeland.
  20. I don't remember 2008-2010 being as stressful as how it has been 2014-2016 to me. Like you said, we had a shit ton of material, new album, songs, demos, singles, live shows/audios, beside other things. I didn't live that era as much as I would've loved, I just discovered LP around 2004 after Collision Course came out, maybe a few months before the end of the Meteora World Tour, but yeah, seeing how many things happened between late 2004 to early 2007, that was a hell of a ride, specially the label dispute and the inminent musical change for MTM. Yeah, it has been a weird year to be honest. I don't mind waiting for the next album next year, but I would have loved some special show for the LPU, anything, but it didn't happened. Maybe they're actually taking this really seriously, wich is a good sign somehow.
  21. This. And I even "hate" more this type of stuff seeing the Linkinpedia page and how many unreleased demos and songs they have and I'm sure they wouldn't waste so much time putting some bonus tracks on the CD or else, maybe Warner doesn't let them release it (?) I don't know, I don't think they're THAT lazy. I honestly don't felt it's taking too long, same with ATS, I was excited and by the end of 2010, I loved that album to this day. Not saying this is gonna be something similar, they said it's something we've never heard before so, I can expect anything.
  22. As Astat said, you got it wrong. The one you're thinking of is more of an unfinished version of the final song from the album just before they released it as a single, while the demo has clearly different lyrics near the end. I think everyone knew that the moment we could be able to hear both, song and the "Medal of Honor" version, in 2010 lol
  23. I hope I will. It's on thursday and I'll have to be at work the next day, so not sure if I will go or not. There's only the 2-3 day tickets out, I expect the 1 day ones to be out soon.
  24. Gave it a listen. First impressions are kinda mixed. While I found interesting some of the 2014-2015 demos and how weird and creepy they sound (Dark Crystal and Air Force One), I expected more from other demos. I was suprised by the end of The Catalyst demo, interesting take, similar to Robot Boy's LPU11 demo as someone said above. Can't Hurt Me seems more like a late random demo from THP, nothing special for me. As always, when I hear an unreleased demo and Mike has completely different verses on it, I get excited, I get bumped, and I wasn't disappointed with BIO. I dig the original song, I dig this one too. I'll pass Consequence A/B cause there's not much to say, two instrumentals with a cool Hip-Hop beat on track B. VERY disappointed I was with LGM, I expected some cool verses or even vocals overall, but instead we get this. Shortened version of Space Station with Burberry, nothing new, next. Wow, this short demo got me hyped, expected to be longer but it was short, cool different version of The Catalyst, reminds me of The Radiance played live during 2010-2011. Overall it isn't in my top 3 (LPUX, LPU9 and LPU11) but hell as I'm sure it is better than LPU15.
