  1. Heads up Belgian fans! After a successful SOLD OUT show at Pukkelpop 2015, Linkin Park will be returning to Belgium in July 2017! The band has announced, "Belgium - we're looking forward to coming back to Rock Werchter on July 1, 2017. It’s our second time headlining this festival - tickets go on sale November 19 at 10am (GMT+1)" The first show by Linkin Park at Rock Werchter was in 2011. The tour now is at least three weeks long - longer than the 2014 visit to Europe in June by the band. Stay tuned for more tour announcements soon!
  2. They legitimately had the Argentina venue booked in 2014, and something fell through. I believe it was October 7th.
  3. LP will get a full set time I'm sure.
  4. They are predictable when it comes to the successful shows. For instance, tons of people in Germany, Poland, and Italy last touring cycle, so they are returning to those countries. Russia I bet will get a show or two, and I am guessing Switzerland.
  5. I agree. Sounds likely.
  6. When I add a 2017 show and then make a 2016 post Anyway, he sounds great as usual. Nice to hear a full band Plush.
  7. June 17th. Here's their Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/IDaysFestivalOfficial/They are slowly announcing bands. Looks like some drama with Radiohead playing.
  8. As we announced in October, Chester joined The Hellcat Saints again on November 3rd, this time for Rhonda's Kiss 2nd Annual Benefit Concert. It was held at Los Angeles's El Rey Theatre. Chester joined the band for Plush (Stone Temple Pilots) and Mountain Song (Jane's Addition). The setlist looks like it was a short show of about six songs, with at least one song performed with Mark McGrath, a few songs with Juliette Lewis, and two songs with Chester. We will work on obtaining the correct setlist. You can view videos here: Plush, Mountain Song. This was Chester's third appearance with The Hellcat Saints in 2016.
  9. According to Il Giorno, Italian fans should expect to see Linkin Park return to Italy on June 17, 2017. "Monza, November 7, 2016 - Even Linkin Park are ready to get on the stage of Monza . Official confirmation is expected in the coming hours, but now the deal between the Californian band and the organizers of the I-Days seems closed. But at Monza in the lineup will also include the seventh studio effort that the producer and co band's frontman, Mike Shinoda, announced for release later this year." The Independent Days Festival takes place in Monza, Italy outside of Milano. If confirmed, this will be the third trip to Italy on the past four European tours for Linkin Park. Current headliners are: June 15: Green Day June 16: Radiohead June 17: Linkin Park (?)
  10. Hi all. Sorry for the confusion this created. I posted this myself when I saw it on Rob Zombie's Facebook earlier today. Linkin Park is playing the festival from what we know. As for the other part of the lineup, we have no idea who is on it or who is not on it. Actually, it's likely Guns N Roses and Deftones both are NOT playing this festival. However, I do think Prophets of Rage, Linkin Park, Rob Zombie, and Aerosmith are all playing it. Anyway, the poster is not an authentic poster it seems due to GNR being on the third line and the outdated Linkin Park logo. My guess is that Rob Zombie's management posted this by knowing they're playing the festival and by knowing at least the headliners were correct, without even reading the rest of the bill. I do not know when the band will confirm it themselves, we will see.
  11. Are you sure? Seems likely they'd play at least 1-2 times on back-to-back days, instead of having an off day after every show. And yes I agree about Fort Minor.
  12. Is there no Rock in Rio Lisboa this year?
  13. Following very successful shows in Wrocław (2014) and Rybnik (2015), Linkin Park will return to Poland for the third time in four straight European tours. Linkin Park has announced, "On June 15th, 2017 we are returning to Poland and headlining Impact Festival 2017 at the Tauron Arena in Kraków." This is the sixth announced show of the tour so far, following NovaRock, Download Paris, Hurricane, Southside, and Telekom VOLT Festival. It will be their first show in Kraków! Stay tuned for more show announcements soon as Linkin Park's European Tour starts shaping up for summer 2017.
  14. Biffy Clyro is not a good headliner choice IMO, LP is bigger than that for sure.
  15. I will eat my words if they appear on the lineup for sure. I don't think they'd sell many tickets with how badly THP did (without even mentioning zero successful worldwide singles) and with zero hype for the new music at this point.
  16. I still don't think Download at this point is going to book them. Doesn't make sense for Download.
  17. What happened to this thread? What's up next?
  18. I mean at the same venue. Yes, you're right.

  20. I'll add Recharged, good find. I can add parts of the Reanimation songs, sure. High Voltage was a remix, but the original was released on HTEP, sure. I'll fix this up now.
  21. Is this the closest that they have ever played between two festivals? 60 minute drive?
  22. Proposed rules, drafted by Dmitry and Serg and I: 1. If the entire band is on a stage performing two or three songs at some event/TV spot, it is a show. The point is that the whole band was there and there being an actual stage/set. Length of setlist shouldn't matter...if we get into that we really get technical and have to analyze a LOT of shows. 2. If they performed with the intent of sharing that performance with fans (so either fans were there or it was recorded to be released online or broadcast) then it counts as a show. Example: AOL Sessions would be counted as a show, even if the entire audience was digital. This handles the 2007 random rehearsals. 3. If there were two performances at different venues on the same day for whatever reason - count them as two shows. This occurs in 2008 twice. 4. Rehearsals: If they play a show/rehearsal, take a break, then play another show, same stage, same fans, same day, it's one show (Sunrise 2011, Madrid 2010). If the rehearsal is on a different date and to different fans, it counts as two shows (WPB 2014, Bristow 2012). The one odd performance in the entire guide is the Machine Shop 2015 acoustic set. Zero way for any fans to get into that and it wasn't released - we can't count it. Also was just a partial band.
  23. So if LP is playing Hurricane and Southside, and GNR is doing a stadium tour, who is the last headliner of Rock am Ring/Rock im Park?
