Is this along with the EMA performance? Or are they only playing one show?

Pooch on South America: "I was told that there was no promotion made for the purchase of the South America DSP's. So the priority is to finish Europe and then work on South America. They WILL be released but not until late November, early December."

So at the LPUnderground Summit at London's O2 Arena in just under two weeks time, LPU HQ is holding a competition for Linkin Park fansites to win an exclusive interview with Mike and another member of the band. Essentially, all you have to do is show up and support the site of your choice. LPLive, LPAssociation, LPTimes, LP:BR, and all of the other fansites will be competing for this interview. Since LPLive has such an international community, I expect quite a few people to be attending this show. Who all is going? I believe it will work as easily as this.... Adam or someone from LPU HQ at some point during the Summit will ask how many fans are here from X site, then they'll raise their hands, then he'll ask who's here from Y site and they'll raise their hands, etc. Very simple! All we have to do is send people to the Summit and we should be good! We interviewed Chester with LPAssociation earlier last summer, so I think an interview with Mike and another member would be really cool to do. I remember a lot of people mentioning that they wanted an LPL interview with Mike, so here's your chance. LPLive has already had a big impact on this tour, with Mike pointing out the LPLive staff in Dortmund, saying "This shit is for you guys" before he rapped 'A Place For My Head' verse 1 over the bridge of 'Bleed It Out' for the first time. The band also changed the World Tour setlist, swapping in 'Lying From You' and 'Leave Out All The Rest' after seeing our thread about the 2010 setlist (follow up here). What a better way to end the European Tour in London than to take home the right for an exclusive interview with Mike and another band member? Let's make it happen LPLive!

Ask Mike to rap 'Reading My Eyes' over 'Bleed It Out'! -
Linkin Park plays today at the Festhalle in Frankfurt, Germany for the last show for "A Thousand Suns" in 2010 on the main continent of Europe. This is the sixth show in Germany on this tour, the tenth show of the European leg of the tour, and the thirteenth show of the World Tour. LP last played in Frankfurt in January 2008 on the winter European Tour (show page here), which was on Rob's birthday! They stopped 'Bleed It Out' mid-song to sing to him and then picked it back up to finish. A video of that can be found That was the first time they had performed in Frankfurt, making this show the second. An interesting note is that LP has played 36 shows in Germany from 2001 until present day (counting Frankfurt) out of 40 scheduled shows. Outside of the USA, Germany is tied with England for the MOST full shows with 35 (aka not a 1-3 song performance). Not surprising, considering Chester told the fans at Projekt Revolution in Germany in 2008 that the country was home to the most hardcore Linkin Park fans in the world. The German show count for Linkin Park: 2001: 12 out of 13 (1 canceled) 2003: 3 out of 6 (3 canceled) 2004: 1 2007: 4 2008: 7 2009: 2 2010: 6 TV/Radio performances: 1 (2007) 35 shows, 1 TV/radio appearance, 36 total That brings them to 36 shows total in the country of Germany. Here's where it gets tricky though. England stands at 35, but they have more TV/radio performances. 2001: 9 2003: 10 2004: 2 2007: 2 2008: 6 2009: 1 2010: 5 TV/Radio performances: 7 (2001, 2003, 2007) 35 shows, 7 TV/radio performances, 42 total So compare it how you want...Germany and England will both have the same amount of full shows after this year, but the band has actually performed more in England. Hopefully all my research is correct! So congratulations to these two countries for having the most Linkin Park concerts! I would venture a guess and say the most played city in the world for them outside of Los Angeles, CA would be London, UK. Anyway, all that aside, last night in Zürich (show page here), LP played the "other" setlist on this tour with 'Lying From You' and 'Leave Out All The Rest' instead of 'Papercut' and 'The Messenger'. The chorus of 'Burning In The Skies' was over the bridge of 'Bleed It Out' for the first time since Köln (show page here). Will 'A Place For My Head' return in any shape or form this year? Will the band just use these two setlists for the London shows? Will we see any other changes to the setlist? Mike himself mentioned here that the band was going to rotate setlists later, saying "Because we had so many new songs and a bunch of new technology (new to us, at least) on stage, we started the tour with one set list, with the intention of switching it up as we got comfortable with it." Who is going to Frankfurt? We should be getting live setlist updates via Twitter here. SETLIST: 01. The Requiem 02. Wretches and Kings 03. Papercut 04. Given Up 05. New Divide 06. Faint 07. Empty Spaces 08. When They Come For Me 09. No More Sorrow 10. Jornada Del Muerto 11. Waiting For The End 12. Wisdom, Justice & Love 13. Iridescent 14. Numb 15. The Radiance (Live Version) 16. Breaking The Habit 17. Shadow Of The Day 18. Crawling 19. One Step Closer ---------------------------- 20. Fallout 21. The Catalyst 22. The Messenger 23. In The End 24. What I've Done 25. Bleed It Out (Reading My Eyes verse 1 over intro, BITS chorus over bridge) M&G info: 'By Myself' is very unlikely, 'A Place For My Head' will stay exclusive to the one show (Paris), Rob will "keep in mind" 'P5hng Me A*wy' and 'Figure.09' for next year, 'Reading My Eyes' requested over 'Bleed It Out'.

If you don't know, get familiar. I found Linz. I am getting it 5 tracks at a time. The person retagged the whole show so I am putting the proper tags on it like it should be with the 10_23_10_LP_LIVE_Linz stuff, and then it'll go up.

Linkin Park is playing their first ever show in Israel in a little over two weeks at Yarkon Park in Tel Aviv. A local website in Israel has posted an article on the "demands" of the band...as in what the band wants for their performance at the show. These type of articles don't really surface very often, especially for Linkin Park, so I thought I'd some of it here for you to enjoy. It's actually in Hebrew (I believe) so the translation is really rough, but this here are some of the things that Linkin Park wants for their Tel Aviv show. If you've watched LP's Frat Party At The Pancake Festival DVD, you'll see that they get to submit a list of things they want at each show, whether it's a hundred bottles of water, turkey and cheese sandwiches, soda, etc. Some artists have crazy requests, but here's some of what LP wants in Tel Aviv! First of all, they state that ALL backstage rooms at the show, including those of the Iraeli production company, will have NO smoking and NO alcohol at all. Some of the other requests: - 100 towels, 24 black and yellow, hung on special racks made of metal and gold - Personal rooms for each band member, built behind a gym on the facility - Food for EIGHT days, including sausages, Belgian waffles, with maple syrup oatmeal porridge - Recommendations on three local restaurants in Tel Aviv in case that want to go out to eat after the show A total list of the food the band is requesting: coffee and tea, a blender, a toaster, Tabasco, Heinz ketchup, mustard (American), mayonnaise, 48 bottles of water at room temperature, fizzy drinks like Coca Cola, Dr Pepper, Fanta. Four cans of Red Bull, a variety of fresh bagels, cream cheese, granola bars, package of cookies, Oreos, two packets of oatmeal bars, a jar of roasted peanuts, chips and salsa, pretzels, cereal packages of Cheerios, a variety of fresh fruits, various vegetables, white bread, seven grain bread, tuna in water, and a jar of Nutella! Interesting what goes into a Linkin Park performance! The original article can be read here. The English translation can be read here.

People are jumping in the god damn seats to APFMH on the bridge of BIO. I'd call that a success if I've ever seen that. Crowd is going crazy. That's awesome lol, can't wait for the DSP. VERY NICE.
-
Thanks for Stuttgart! Just got it 10 mins ago...listening now. I am on the hunt for Linz too. If I get it, it'll be in the usual place.

Is Jyske Bank BOXEN the true name of the venue?
-
USA tour is January to March. Asia is after that, then a break, then European festivals/arenas and then another USA tour. That's what LP is doing as of right now. After the USA tour there might be more since Chester said they're touring until the end of next year but I don't know what would follow the USA tour. I think two New Zealand shows will be added and maybe one more Australian show. Sydney night 3 / two in Auckland. They should also add a Wellington show but I doubt it lol

LP continues the "A Thousand Suns" World Tour today in Zürich, Switzerland at Hallenstadion. This will be the ninth show in Europe, making it the number twelve show on the World Tour. The band is no stranger to Zürich, having played the Hallenstadion in 2007 on the first arena tour for "Minutes To Midnight" (show page here) and in 2009 last summer (show page here). An interesting fact about the 2007 show is that is where 'What I've Done' appeared in the encore for the first time, and also the first time that 'Bleed It Out' closed the main set. For those of you unfamiliar, this is the location of the FUCK YOUR SIDE video. Check that out Coincidentally, that was their first ever show in Switzerland. LP performed in Basel in early 2008 (show page here) on the short winter European Tour, which was the only time that 'Valentine's Day' made it as high as the seventh spot in the setlist. The band has also canceled a show in 2008 in Interlaken, Switerland at the Greenfield Festival while on their summer European Tour. This was due to Brad having an ear infection and being unable to fly at the time. The 2009 show was technically considered a makeup show for that. Tomorrow the tour continues to Frankfurt, where the last German show of 2010 will take place. Anyway, the last show in Herning (show page here) featured a return of 'Papercut' and 'The Messenger', leaving out 'Lying From You' and 'Leave Out All The Rest'. So for those of you who were worried about those two songs being gone...everything is fine. 'Bleed It Out' had the 'A Place For My Head' verse 1 and bridge on it too, so that should make the DSP that more exciting to get. Lastly, a few questions.... Will any other ATS songs debut on this leg of the tour? Will they rotate in any other songs besides 'Lying From You' and 'Leave Out All The Rest'? What about the two back-to-back shows in London? Who's going to Zürich? SETLIST: 01. The Requiem 02. Wretches and Kings 03. Lying From You 04. Given Up 05. New Divide 06. Faint 07. Empty Spaces 08. When They Come For Me 09. No More Sorrow 10. Jornada Del Muerto 11. Waiting For The End 12. Wisdom, Justice & Love 13. Iridescent 14. Numb 15. The Radiance (Live Version) 16. Breaking The Habit 17. Shadow Of The Day 18. Crawling 19. One Step Closer ---------------------------- 20. Fallout 21. The Catalyst 22. Leave Out All The Rest 23. In The End 24. What I've Done 25. Bleed It Out (Ext. intro) (Bridge w/ Burning In The Skies chorus)

Hell yeah me too. From The Inside, Don't Stay, Somewhere I Belong and Points Of Authority please! POA with some new verses lol. Overall I am very pleased with the setlist this tour and the changes they've done. Very fun to follow them show by show as usual. I thought this tour would get boring but it hasn't. When I looked and saw Denmark was next, I said FUCK this is going to be the smallest preshow post around...no info for it. But I did some research and there was a ton haha. Funny how that works sometimes. APFMH bridge over BIO is amazing. I wish they'd add APFMH back in.

You have to buy it online on the download site lol, I don't think it's on the ticket anywhere....

Sweet fucking setlist, sweet video and I added it to the topic for the next show haha.

The "A Thousand Suns" World Tour continues today in Herning, Denmark as Linkin Park plays at Jyske Bank BOXEN (ex MCH Arena). This is the eighth show of the European leg of the tour out of sixteen, so after this one, this leg of the tour will be done. The last performance in Denmark by the band was in 2008 in Skive, when they kicked off their summer European Tour with a brand new setlist. The second intro to 'One Step Closer' and the intro to 'Lying From You' were publicly debuted at that show. Read more about that on the show page here. They also played in Copenhagen in 2007 to start THAT European Tour too - the very first headlining arena show for "Minutes To Midnight" (show page here.) That show had the very first performances of 'Leave Out All The Rest' and 'The Little Things Give You Away', which is also when Phoenix made his live debut for LP on the microphone! There was a canceled show there in 2003 on the summer European Tour where Chester was sick at the Forum in Copenhagen also. That tour had some interesting festivals planned for it too... Rock am Ring, Rock im Park, Hultsfred, Norwegian Wood Festival, and more. The full canceled 2003 tour schedule can be found here. The band's 2001 US-to-Europe Tour had a show in Copenhagen on it (no show page) and that's pretty cool because it was one of only five European shows on that tour (four planned)...the others being Rock am Ring, Rock im Park (x2), and London's Brixton Academy, where 'Morning After' debuted on acoustic guitar courtesy of Chester! So with all of that, this is I believe their FOURTH show in Denmark and first in Herning. MCH Arena initially caused some confusion at first because many thought it was outdoors, but the show indeed is INSIDE. I also forgot when I made the last preshow post that LP played their second ever European show in Hamburg (show page here)....how could I have forgotten that? Sorry! We even have a great proshot DVD of that show! *cough*...ROTW sometime soon?*cough* In Hamburg last night (show page here), the setlist was the same as before with 'Lying From You' and 'Leave Out All The Rest' in there. However, on the bridge of 'Bleed It Out', Mike rapped verse one of 'A Place For My Head' and then Chester went into the bridge of it! This is the first time this has ever happened, and if I say so myself, verse one sounded MUCH better than the first attempt at it several shows ago in Dortmund (show page here). Nice job, guys! Hell, we might as well put up a video of it because of how awesome it was, so check that out! And now for the questions: Will they sing anything else over the bridge of 'Bleed It Out'? Are 'Papercut' and 'The Messenger' gone for the rest of the tour? Will they continue back with those two songs tonight in Denmark now that they're outside of Germany? Will they randomly play any other unrehearsed songs this tour? Hmm... After a day off tomorrow, the tour continues in Switzerland on November 1, Frankfurt on November 2, followed by five UK dates along with the MTV EMA's. The tour dates can be found here. Who from LPLive is attending the Herning show? Did anyone from LPL get an LPU M&G? SETLIST: 01. The Requiem 02. Wretches & Kings 03. Papercut 04. Given Up 05. New Divide 06. Faint 07. Empty Spaces 08. When They Come For Me 09. No More Sorrow 10. Jornada Del Muerto 11. Waiting For The End 12. Wisdom, Justice, & Love 13. Iridescent 14. Numb 15. The Radiance (Live Version) 16. Breaking The Habit 17. Shadow Of The Day 18. Crawling 19. One Step Closer ------- 20. Fallout 21. The Catalyst 22. The Messenger 23. In The End 24. What I've Done 25. Bleed It Out (with APFMH verse 1+ Bridge)

Someone posted the torrent on Demonoid, so go get it there. They have always been there from the very first one being posted in July 2007 until 2009. I usually upload them - I posted the Australia ones on there earlier this year but got heavily criticized for it by LP mgmt. So now I can't post them there. Please don't PM me asking for links, please don't post here asking for links. I'll say it once and only once - they always have and always will be on Demonoid. Since someone else uploaded the Stuttgart one there, I am assuming he's going to do it at least for a few other shows and I bet others do the rest. The LP community is tight knit and people know what's going on; I promise you they'll all be available for free somehow or another. But not via links here. Just go search torrent sites for them. I can't upload them there or upload to a Rapidshare or anything because I'll get raped for it, but that doesn't mean you can't. There I said it. Go get them. If you need invites, find a section on the site and make a thread there asking for invites. It's a great damn torrent site and I used to love posting the DSPs there ASAP. I don't even have the $ now to get them all but like Berlin, someone will grab it and send it to me/someone affiliated with the site in order to share it. So go get it.

Guess no live updates for this one; we'll get the set post-show. I am leaving for like 3 hours so I'll have to text someone the set to update the main post with it as I'll be on the road. Sorry!

I did the same thing a few threads ago lol. Odd. DSP is sweet. 4:30-end of WTCFM is amazing.

Holy WTF. LPLive = god damn live guide Most epic fail post I have ever seen on the internet lol -
Yeah that's where they did rehearsals so I'd assume that's right.
-
Interesting. So he sent DSPs via PM and was banned for that? That's funny because I PM'd the link to 21 people yesterday and I'm not banned. Maybe our rules are insane or something. I'll have to look. Hmm.

What the heck. That sucks so badly. Photo op is the best I guess. Crew bus tour wouldn't give any info, LPU jam is only for people that can play songs sadly (didn't know that either), photo op seems good. What happened to the backstage tour? That seems like the best option but I don't see that lol
