  1. That's awesome, thanks for the updates. Glad you had fun.
  2. Sounds pretty raspy to me :/
  3. Koln show available on the downloads site!
  4. It's in London waiting to be shown at the Summit.
  5. 21 fucking gb for one show? WHAT? lol I just relistened to it. It's playing the studio vocals. Mike isn't anywhere on stage. For Requiem in Buenos Aires and every show since then, he hasn't been on stage and they've just played a version of Requiem for the live show (it's slightly different than the album version so I can't call it that, but it's a live remix in a sense). He doesn't do vocals on this live anymore. NYC was the first and last time. Maybe you can hear him take a breath but I'm sure that was how he did it in the studio lol. He most definitely recorded that in the studio and that's what they are playing over the PA. I can get confirmation on that too if you want me to.
  6. I hope if he uploads it that it isn't tagged at all. I just watched that Sao Paulo broadcast last night and that shit is awesome He didn't sing it live...that's the studio version of The Requiem playing over the speakers. It's basically a bad mix so you hear more of the vocals than normal (see: getting close to an a cappella of it).
  7. Today, Linkin Park plays in Birmingham, England for the 14th show of the European leg of the "A Thousand Suns" World Tour. This is their third show in the UK, with two more to come in London on the 10th and 11th. The LPU Summit will fall on those two days as well so LP is definitely going out with a bang in England. LP has played in Birmingham one time before (2003; show page here.) The last show in England was on the 5th in Newcastle (show page here). At that show, they played 'Papercut' and 'The Messenger' so it's likely that the other setlist with 'Lying From You' and 'Leave Out All The Rest' will be played in Birmingham. At our last show of the tour in Madrid (show page here), LP played an hour long set after soundchecking a short set in front of the fans. They rarely do this so I suggest checking out the YouTube videos ( or here) of that. A great one of 'Waiting For The End' can be found here, a one of 'Papercut' from the front row and one of 'Faint', 'Empty Spaces' and 'When They Come For Me' Another good one for 'When They Come For Me' here. Yes, this means we have to edit the show page for Madrid with more songs for the soundcheck since we were wrong! One of the takes of 'Waiting For The End' was after 'Papercut' too. I actually didn't discover that until I was writing this post, so I'll make the changes soon. So who besides me is super jealous all those fans got to see a lengthy soundcheck as well as the full show? Chester even says in that it's the largest soundcheck they've ever played. I added a video of the proshot of 'Papercut'...one of the best 'Papercut' performances I've seen in a while. Here's our latest 'Bleed It Out' / 'A Place For My Head' mashup (Madrid): Looking good, isn't it? So who's going to Birmingham? Any international fans already getting ready to leave for the London shows & LPU Summit? Excited? BIRMINGHAM SETLIST: 01. The Requiem 02. Wretches And Kings 03. Lying From You 04. Given Up 05. New Divide 06. Faint 07. Empty Spaces 08. When They Come For Me 09. No More Sorrow 10. Jornada Del Muerto 11. Waiting For The End 12. Wisdom, Justice, And Love 13. Iridescent 14. Numb 15. The Radiance (Live Version) 16. Breaking The Habit 17. Shadow Of The Day 18. Crawling (w/ a fan "Chris" on guitar, playing Mike's part) (first ever on Crawling, first time at all since April 28, 2007) 19. One Step Closer ---------------------- 20. Fallout 21. The Catalyst 22. Leave Out All The Rest 23. In The End 24. What I've Done 25. Bleed It Out (w/ 'Reading My Eyes' verse 1 over intro, 'A Place For My Head' verse 1 & bridge over bridge)
  8. Hi, welcome to LPLive. Please post in the correct section...this topic would go here: http://lplive.net/forum/index.php?showforum=60 but you can just reply to that show roll call thread there. Thanks.
  9. Agreed. It's not a battle of who shares the most shit by any chance, but LPLive has shared all sorts of shit and a huge reason for that is to encourage OTHERS to share. We traded a HTEP for the Club Tattoo 2006 DVD so we could post that up. Yokohama 03, Osaka 06, those were released. Mountain View 2004. Hollywood Palladium 2001 was traded around a bit then released. I was going to surprise the site and put MFR 05 up randomly one day but the deal never came through. Easily over $3,000 combined later, She Couldn't came out. Plaster came out. What if we never released any of that shit? Greedy people will be greedy. I highly doubt anything like Hamburg 07 or Camden 04 and the like will be posted if you ask me. We can try but I guess it doesn't matter to them...I'll keep sharing though.
  10. No this is NOT Phoenix, it's from Charlotte. Mark Fiore is the source on that.
  11. This is from the LPU 4 enhanced CD. It's also featured slightly on the LPTV from PR04. It's from Charlotte, NC: http://lplive.net/shows/20040814.php
  12. YEAH LOL, despite Chester and LP even saying Muse is the best live band in the world, LP still wins. That's hilarious.
  13. Hope someone shares video of the full show sometime...would be nice. Sweet video, cut off just before a great fuckin' song ^^ Crowd looks great. I'd love to see F09/FTI, Numb/BTH, OSC Reanimated and Faint with a fan on guitar.
  14. How the hell that beats a Linkin Park show, I have no idea, lol
  15. Yeah but I think they had to have had SOMETHING. The LPU sent an email saying if you wanted to attend then reply with your info. Either they had a checklist there with someone checking off names or they had some sort of free pass. Hmm.
  16. Yeah WTF @ no one discussing that. I'll start lol. I think Mace is a joke.
  17. Jornada Del Muerto was missing, we finally got it confirmed by Pooch.
  18. Who the hell is saying HEY HEY HEY over the WAK chorus? Both choruses, Mike isn't singing into his mic, you can clearly see him headbanging in chorus 2 and swaying side to side in chorus 1. Is someone else in the band saying it or is it sampled?
  19. Now we need a scan of a ticket or pass from the show.
  20. www.mikeshinoda.com is a pretty legit source.
  21. Wrong. This is not correct.
  22. Are you serious? Requiem = not live.
  23. Production definitely heightens it for me but energy and music are very important. I'd say it's all about equal to me. Production, energy of the band/crowd, actual musical performance (songs included in set goes with that). Muse brings it all in my opinion but goes well above and beyond in the production department. LP has great energy, great music, great crowds...Muse incorporates all of that with epic production so that's why they win in my book.
  24. Derek over at LPA just posted about the Glitch Mob remix of "Waiting For The End", available later this month on the CD single. An online blog entitled "Some Kind Of Awesome" uploaded it for your listening pleasure here. Thanks to Derek for the heads up and to the blog for uploading it. What do you guys think? Do you like the techno/electronica influence?
  25. The Dortmund show is awesome.
