  1. Hope that a DVD version pops up on DIME soon with the sync issues fixed. I didn't know the very first drum part on WTCFM was sampled live until I watched Madrid the other day. Interesting. They sample so much new stuff (even vocals on WAK and Iridescent and WTCFM) lol
  2. Kudos!
  3. Does the video and the audio have sync problems later on in the video? WTCFM plays for me like it's all fucked up
  4. Woo! Fuck yeah
  5. Across the Line!!!
  6. Spooky that's the best fucking post I've ever read on this site. Wow. I really really appreciate that. I had no idea until this thread that so many people sit back and read the pre-show posts and the interviews and stuff without posting. I actually thought a lot of people don't care about most of that stuff that I post. Thanks for all the kind words I'm glad you like the site!
  7. I like sucre06's. I vote Hawk. I hate that one. Wake into WID, what the fuck. Numb keyboard outro into SESSION? ND, BTH, APFMH to close? Hell no lol. Sucre06 has a great one. Session into Catalyst rapes Fallout into Catalyst. ITE moving up is A+. F09, P5hng, and the best LP song ever: Across The Line No Papercut and ITE twice, and OSC into ETR but I'll take it! ETR
  8. Our latest LPLive interview is with Jay OByrne, a 19 year old who shoots photography on tour with bands. HOWEVER, there's a BIG catch to that statement but you're going to have to read the interview to find out more! http://lplive.net/interviews/jayobyrne.php Check this one out! This is one of my favorite LPLive interviews we've ever done to date! Quite a few questions with some really informative answers! Let us know what you think! I won't bore you with a long intro, so I put it on the interview page. Go go go!
  9. My problem with Requiem/WAK is that they are not heavy hitting songs to start with. With You Papercut Don't Stay One Step Closer Wake/Given Up No More Sorrow What I've Done Those songs have that hard hitting rock sound with guitar to start the song off. WAK isn't a song you can bounce to. At most, you throw the hands up and that's about it. I like the shows to start off with a punch. The only show I can see doing that this year is NYC. Requiem/Radiance/New Divide. That's a great opener. Requiem is fine if it has a great song after it but WAK opening is ehh. But yeah compared to all other intros to open the show, Requiem lacks the energy.
  10. Requiem is cool but IMO is the weakest intro they've ever used to start a show.
  11. I wonder if BITS will be in every setlist now.
  12. Come on, you damn DSPs!
  13. Just give me A Place For My Head in full in at least 1 setlist that rotates throughout the tour and I promise I'll be the most content person ever. LP can play anything the entire tour and I won't bitch about it, even if it's Not Alone into SOTD into LOATR into Numb into PMA piano into My December piano into BTH piano into SIB into Numb again. I just want the full A Place For My Head.
  14. I fucking love those setlists. I'll take those ANY DAY. LP should just take those, implement them and we're good to go. Everything I want besides P5hng is there but fuck it, there's tons of songs in those I haven't ever seen. Love it.
  15. My favorite 2010 moment for LP was when I heard Waiting For The End for the first time. LOVED that shit. Most songs on the CD took a while to grow on me. Blackout, even Wretches. The only ones I LIKED at the beginning were actually BITS and WFTE. I loved WFTE. So that's my favorite thing from 2010. What I'm excited for in 2011.... I'm seeing the first 3 shows of the USA tour. Sunrise and Tampa, FL and Atlanta, GA. Going to be SO awesome. Pumped to see the ATS songs live (specifically Wretches, BITS, Blackout and especially WTCFM). I most want to see APFMH live since I have never seen it before. APFMH live would make my existence if I saw it live.
  16. Hmm, interesting idea. Sure, I'll do that now.
  17. Happy New Year LP fans! 2011 is upon us already. Wow, I really can't believe it considering it only seems like a few months ago I saw LP in Europe, which actually was the summer of 2009. Ouch, haha. 2010 brought us a ton of great stuff - LP's latest studio album "A Thousand Suns", a World Tour for it that hit Europe, the Middle East and Australia, LPUX, the LPU Summits, and all sorts of other cool musical tracks by the band. Mike posted a 2010 wrap up of Linkin Park on his blog, which you can read here. What is YOUR favorite thing LP-related from 2010? It can be a concert they performed this year, a DSP, the album, a song on the album, a band member, an experience you had meeting the band, anything. What is your #1 LP thing from the past year? I'd like everyone that can to post a response so we can have something to reflect back on next year at this time. And what are you looking forward to in 2011? Remember, the North American Tour starts in 20 days in Sunrise, FL! Who's going to that tour? For those of you in other parts of the world, do you think LP will visit you this year? Will they tour all year long or will they start to record another album later this year? What do you want to see from LP in 2011? And lastly, THANKS for visiting LPLive in 2010! Thank you for registering, becoming a part of our community, spreading the word about us, helping us out by submitting your pictures, ticket stubs and setlists from the shows, ordering our shirts and just plain COMING to the site. I vow every year to make LPLive better than the previous year so 2011 will have high expectations! But I think we can live up to them...we have a lot of badass stuff we're working on that is coming VERY soon. Excited? Just after Christmas in 2005 was when I got the server space from Sotrix to start my LP live "project". Nothing really came of it for a long time after that but that's when the very first seed was planted for this website. Over 5 years ago. Wow, how time flies!
  18. Emailed you the wrong email first and just sent you the correct one Just need your name/address and $17 in PayPal and it'll be at your house!
  19. That's fine. Pay the 10th and you're good. Just keep in touch with me. I understand people have things that prevent them from paying at certain times, etc. AKA: fuckin' life. 10th is fine bro.
  20. I wanna fuckin enter with my new set 01. Faint (new long intro) 02. Papercut 03. The Catalyst 04. New Divide (synth/piano long intro like late 2009) 05. Wretches & Kings (Savio intro all over that shit) 06. No More Sorrow (long intro) 07. Points Of Authority (badass intros/outros) 08. Figure.09 (PR04 transition) 09. From The Inside 10. Jornada Del Muerto 11. Waiting For The End 12. P5hng Me A*wy 13. Burning In The Skies 14. Numb (new outro keyboard transition into...) 15. What We Don't Know 16. Breaking The Habit 17. Across The Line 18. The Messenger 19. Empty Spaces 20. When They Come For Me 21. Bleed It Out - 22. Blackout (ext intro) 23. A Place For My Head 24. One Step Closer (Reanimated bridge; outro) Blackout/APFMH/OSC is about the best encore you can get these days. Even better than my proposed encore last year of Don't Stay (pr04 intro) / Faint / OSC, and my other one of NMS (long intro) / APFMH / OSC, and it sure as hell beats LP's encore of New Divide/Faint/OSC from 2009 even though THAT encore was just awesome live. Blackout FTW. And moreso, A PLACE FOR MY FUCKING HEAD FTW.
  21. 01. One Step Closer (Reanimated bridge; outro) Either start the show with Faint with a nasty extended violin intro that builds up or start it with Blackout with some haunting disgusting filthy buildup Halloween-type shit. Whichever you don't use to open the set, start the encore with it. Blackout/APFMH/OSC is about the best encore you can get these days. What We Don't Know in there for the hell of it cause it's easy to play probably and it's a b-side, and ATL in there because it's the best song LP has ever written.
  22. Orange spikey hair!!!!
  23. So excited to get the shirts out. Phew, kinda stressful for me DSPs please I really hope South America gets released. The Buenos Aires show will be awesome as hell to listen to.
  24. Yeah I think we'll do that. Spend the night in Sunrise after that show, then drive to Tampa the next day to do that. It'll be a blast.
