I think an Incubus tour would be epic too

Post any tour rumors here that you've heard about LP or list any bands you think you'd like to see Linkin Park tour with

Mike and Joe Trapanese have a song on the upcoming soundtrack for "The Raid" called 'Razor's Out', which is one of two tracks featuring vocals that they did. This one features Chino Moreno from the Deftones and from Crosses, while the other one features Get Busy Committee. Take a listen to 'Razor's Out' here: Thoughts? Excited for Mike and Joe Trapanese's score on "The Raid" and the other track with vocals by GBC?

Cmon...gimme the PR announcement....drooling over here lol

Sounds legit to me. It's not like the radio station is pulling this out of their ass lol. The date is open at the venue. They pulled it from the site I bet because they jumped the gun on announcing it and LP said hold up. If the presale is soon then LP will announce the full USA tour at once shortly. I see no reason for this to be fake.

Hell yeah this is great. Bring it on. Hoping for a full Projekt Rev with mucho good bands and a lot of shows.

Styles Of Beyond's "Reseda Beach" Coming, Finally!
hahninator replied to hahninator's topic in Newswire
This was made way before she even quit her Holly Brook name and changed to Skylar Grey. That song I'm sure was made in like 2007...she released music as Holly even after that (O Dark Thirty EP). It wasn't like Skylar got big then did this haha. She is good friends with Apathy and SOB (but especially Ap) so it was no problem to feature her here. I'm sure since it was before she got big it's ok to release. And Tak should be on every track I would assume. Vin Skully produced a lot of this (most I would assume) and I believe Mike produced a few songs. -
Styles Of Beyond Central (SOBC, run by good ole Jay) just posted about the "Reseda Beach" album we've been hearing about for so long now. When did rumors of this CD start floating around? 2007 at least? After releasing "2000 Fold" and "Megadef", they worked on another new album in 2005 titled "Rocket Surgery" (later changed to "Reseda Beach"). In 2007, they ended up releasing a "Razor Tag" mixtape after working with Green Lantern (remember him from Fort Minor's "We Major" mixtape?) and had some good stuff on there, including 'Second To None' and 'Hey You', which featured Mike on vocals. 'Second To None' was performed live a few times in 2007 since SOB joined Projekt Revolution that year, and Mike even threw a verse from it over 'Points Of Authority' in 2007. The song was rumored to be on "Reseda Beach" but ended up being released on the "Razor Tag" mixtape and was featured on the almighty Transformers Soundtrack. Our interview with Ryu from 2009 revealed why the band was put on hold and why the members did their own things, with Ryu saying "The Warner thing (referencing their split from Machine Shop Records) I think mentally exhausted everybody, I think it was just time to do something fresh and new. Business wise and creatively. The status of the group is unknown at this point. It just felt like we were beating a dead horse after a while." Ryu in an April 2009 online video chat played a few tracks from the album, but otherwise nothing has been said about it ever coming out. However, today he posted on Twitter that the album is indeed coming shortly. It should be here within two months and will be on Celph Titled's "Dirty Version" record label. Known song titles include 'Here We Go' (feat. Celph Titled), 'Call My Name', 'The Pirate Song', 'Damn' (feat. Micheal Buble & Holly Brook), 'Dumb It Down', and 'Dunky Fividenz' (feat. Apathy)'. It remains to be seen what the final tracklisting will be, but we assume most of these tracks (and maybe 'Second To None') will appear on the release. One song, called 'Don't Feel Bad' (feat. RZA) was rumored as well but was recently confirmed to not be on the album. So for all of you Styles Of Beyond fans out there, get ready! Who's excited for this one to finally come out?

To keep in the spirit of LP's live shows since the summer tour is currently (and slowly) being announced, here's some downloads! LPL user Maxthunderer recently made a topic with a ton of awesome downloads, including some interviews I've never seen and a few live shows. This was his "Valentine's Day Giveaway", but hey...March isn't THAT late is it?? The shows that are included: 10.02.2001 - St. Louis, MO (Instore Signing) 30.01.2001 - The Fillmore, San Francisco, CA 02.05.2001 - Sydney, Australia, Interview (Channel V) 24.01.2008 - Nottingham, England, Nottingham Arena 17.06.2008 - Brno, CZ (OCKO LIVE) xx.xx.2008 - Videography Commented (MTV2) New York 2003 (Interview IMX) 08.03.2008 - West Valley City, UT Download all of those torrent files (or whichever ones you need to complete your collection) HERE. Thanks Maxthunderer for your awesome contribution! Also with this, LPLive is presenting the video of a show from 2011! On the 8th show of the 2011 North American Tour, LP stopped in Philadelphia, PA (show page here) with their B13 set (you know, the one with 'Faint' opening and with 'Blackout' in the middle) at The Wells Fargo Center. Download a high quality video of that below: [Philly DL] - .torrent (Right click -> Save as...) 720p TS | AC3 5.1 | 7.16 GB | 94:06 mins Enjoy!

Another show rumor has surfaced, this time from a media partner of the Rock In Rio festival in Lisbon, Portugal named Blitz PT. Linkin Park Soldiers has an interesting article on the show and LinkinParkBR has a list of bands they believe will be playing. LPSpain seems pretty confident in the show, their site saying "While there is still no official confirmation from the festival itself, we can confirm you for sure that Linkin Park will be performing in Lisbon on 26 May." They seem to be joining Smashing Pumpkins, Limp Bizkit and The Offspring at the festival. The last time LP performed in Portugal was at the RockOne Festival in 2009 (show page here) and they previously played at the Rock In Rio Festival in 2008 (show page here). While nothing is confirmed, this rumor appears to be pretty strong! /edit: The show has been confirmed via the official website here. EDIT 2: Linkin Park has confirmed the appearance on their Facebook page: "We'll be playing the Rock in Rio Festival in Lisbon, Portugal on May 26. Tickets go on sale Saturday, March 3 here: http://www.ticketline.pt/Calendario.aspx"

Dates updated in the main post. -
LP will be headlining the annual Nova Rock Festival in Nickelsdorf, Austria at Pannonia Fields II. The festival runs from June 8th to June 10th. They have previously played the festival twice, once in 2007 (show page here) and once last year (show page here). I believe this is the first time the band has played the same festival back-to-back years. Buy tickets here. This show is the third to be announce for this summer and joins the previously announced Rock am Ring and Rock im Park shows the first weekend of June. The full NovaRock lineup, which includes Metallica, Marilyn Manson and Puddle Of Mudd, can be found here. Stay tuned for more announcements about this upcoming summer tour! What other festivals do you think LP will play this year? Or what countries would you like to see them visit this summer?

The Julien-K European Tour promoting their new album "We're Here With You" kicks off in London tonight. London will be their first live show with the new drummer Frank Zummo from Street Drums Corps. Most of you remember SDC from Projekt Revolution 2008, where they opened the Main Stage and also joined LP for a few songs during the show. The last Julien-K show was at the Roxy in LA on Jan 21st, when Chester joined them for two songs. It was also Elias's last show with the band for the foreseeable future. The band has played several European tours before, playing London a few times. If you buy a presale ticket, Julien-K Germany has a contest going that you get a free tour poster you can pick up at the merch booth at any shop if you submit a picture of yourself with a ticket. More details here. Also we will try to keep you updated with setlists on the tour. LPL staff member [AndOne] will be going to the Cologne, Hamburg and Berlin shows, hopefully meeting some LPLive and Julien-K friends again, just stop by. If you have ticket stubs for these shows, take a photo or preferably scan them and please send them to us! And have fun!!

Q&A from Adam: "We've been asked a lot of questions about the new $25 LPU11 Membership Tier and the guaranteed meet & greets we mentioned in the announcement email. Please read below for all of the answers to all (or most) of your questions. Q: Do all members who purchased the $60 LPU11 Plus Membership get a guaranteed meet & greet?A: No. The only members eligible for the guaranteed meet & greet are those LPU11 Annual members who purchased the $60 membership between November 15, 2011 and January 26, 2012. You are not eligible for the guaranteed meet & greet if you purchase the $60 LPU11 Plus Membership from here on out. As usual, all Annual LPU11 members ($25 and $60) are eligible to be selected for meet & greets using the raffle process. Q: Since you're guaranteeing meet & greets to those members, won't they take up all of the meet & greet spots?A: No. There will be plenty of room for other members at the meet & greets. Don't worry! Q: I am eligible for the guaranteed meet & greet. How do reserve my spot?A: When you have tickets to a show, and ONLY WHEN YOU HAVE TICKETS TO A SHOW, send an email to lpuhq@lpunderground.com with the subject "LPU11 ANNUAL MEET & GREET: (CITY)". Again, only send this email once you ACTUALLY have tickets to an upcoming show. Q: Is there a certain amount of time I have to use my guaranteed meet & greet?A: No! Your ONE guaranteed meet & greet is good until you use it. Whether it's 4 months from now, or 4 years from now. Q: Can I bring a friend/child/sibling/parent with me to the meet & greets?A: No. You are not allowed to bring any guests with you to the meet & greets, no exceptions. Q: If a show is cancelled, can I still use my guaranteed meet & greet in the future?A: Yes. If anyone is selected for a meet & greet at a cancelled show, we will do our very best to make sure you are selected the next time the band is on tour. I hope that answers most of your questions. If you have any more questions, feel free to leave them in the replies on LPUnderground.com and I'll update the news with more Q&A's later this week. As always, thanks for your support. -Adam/LPUHQ"
