  1. I think so too but probably with a new song. Maybe they'll throw us off and actually release a CD quickly
  2. They played Download Festival last year, I doubt they'll do the same festivals two years in a row. What's a fest they haven't done in a while? Pinkpop? and I bet another Portugal show.
  3. I still say 2013...just a hitch because Shinoda said 05, then 06 for MTM, then 09 for ATS...always they say it's coming out a year or two ahead of time.
  4. Great, glad they're playing these festivals again. Some of their best shows come from Rock am Ring. Plus it's Germany, who loves LP, so it's sure to be awesome. As always it will be interesting to see what other shows they play in Europe, and hopefully we get DSPs. PLUS Metallica is performing the Black Album in full, sooooo damn. I'm jealous.
  5. Medal of Honor mix was slightly different than the final one on ATS. lol @ Chester saying "fuck this game shit" in the ATS DVD. Wretches & Kings, anyone?
  6. I bed to differ. 1:00 in is something he does at most shows.
  7. I had to vote for Broken Foot. I love the Meteora songs - Soundtrack, Program and Broken Foot are all really good but Broken Foot reminds me of Faint a lot. Sooooooo similar and if we heard that live I bet it'd be a great fucking song with vocals, etc. I really like the big riffs and power chords on Meteora. I mean who doesn't like that cool sample to start it and then it just explodes right into the riff? Probably my favorite era of LP - hope we get more demos someday from Meteora. Esaul rules too. Aztec moon ;P Chester sounds so ...bad on the chorus it's unbelievable lol but like really grungy oldschool shit. Really cool song. Mike laying it down is great too. I guess we can all agree LPU 11 is badass. Praying they keep this up because we're getting a lot of good material. I like Slip and Blue a lot but for me the Meteora era trumps the Hybrid Theory era even though I love Shinoda rapping over the hip hop beats combined with the rock edge. Very nu-metal I guess you could say. Never thought I'd hear someone say they don't like these LPU CDs lol. Or better yet someone who likes live songs better, damn. Interesting. These are as close to b-sides as we'll get. Across The Line, Slip, Blue, etc.
  8. Who the hell closed it?
  9. Yo Dmitry, got an update to this?
  10. I'll add this - thanks for the heads up.
  11. I think this sneaky motherfucker has something to do with it:
  12. We need an entire LPU11 list of stuff to add. Lots of cool things we can come up with.
  13. Ref that's the best rundown of tracks by LP I've ever seen. I need to see your breakdown of HT/Meteora/Reani/MTM/ATS asap You know your music stuff unlike a lot of us so it's really interesting to read what you have to say. Very cool stuff. Well.... 100% positive we don't have it. Maybe Adam will see your post and elaborate, but I guarantee you it hasn't come out.
  14. A version of Esaul was done with Xero too. So remaining Xero era tracks we at least know about are Esaul (Xero version), Pictureboard (pretty sure it has Chester but maybe a version with Mark exists), and then Chester right after Xero recording vocals on all the Xero songs.
  15. Time to update again! LOL
  16. Both are different. Esaul a good bit, ITE slightly.
  17. Yep I thought that too. Kind of like "21 Stitches". EDIT: AndOne said check this: versus Slip @ 2:10
  18. http://lplive.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=7984 Make an EP of 6 songs from between the Xero/HTEP era
  19. If you could make an EP of 6 songs (that we have, so no Pictureboard for example) for an EP released between HTEP and Xero what songs would you pick? So for example, the Xero tape was released, then this demo EP, and then the HTEP followed by HT. Choices: Esaul (LPU11), Blue (LPU11), Slip (LPU11), She Couldn't, Sad (LPU9), Stick N Move (LPU9), Coal (LPUX), Oh No (LPUX), Dedicated (LPU2). Any others I missed? I'm actually shocked Blue or Sad didn't make it onto the HTEP. Mine: 01. Dedicated 02. She Couldn't 03. Esaul 04. Blue 05. Coal 06. Slip
  20. Can't wait to see people requesting this stuff live Korn's latest tour has 4 mega rare demos/old songs opening the show followed by 4-5 new songs followed by 4 hits, etc, etc. Just sayin'.
  21. This CD blows LPUX away. I give it the exact same rating as LPU9 I guess. It might beat it for me once I have more listens because there's really good stuff in this release. 1. Yo - 2008 Monster Energy "Brad's Yo" long version. Some different stuff but using this as the first song makes it feel more like an "album" to me than a collection of demos for some reason. Cool. 2. Slip - Different sounding HT era track. Aggressive Shinoda. 3. Soundtrack - Poppy and simple but this could be a catchy catchy LP song if it was finished. I hear a sample Coal (LPUX Xero demo) uses in there. 4. In The End - Mastered/high quality version of what we already have I believe. I don't hear any differences but I'll take this because this actually blows away the quality of the Untitled demos we have. Interesting it's not called Untitled on here. 5. Program - Choruses have big power chords but I like them. Verses are soft and all. With vocals this could have been an interesting song but wouldn't have probably beaten anything on Meteora except Easier To Run. 6. Bang Three - Not much difference here, just an earlier version of the song with a few slight changes. 7. Robot Boy - Different lyrics that aren't as good as the final version. Cool to have but I'd rather have Blackout with Chester freaking out or something, or Messenger demo since it was so different. 8. Broken Foot - Nasty heavy guitars, good shit here. Band is jamming. Reminds me of Faint's song structure a lot - mucho similarities. Faint is better but this is a great demo to have. 9. Esaul - Studio version of this: Love it, awesome track and by far my favorite HT demo (like demo of songs, not b-side demos) and favorite APFMH demo out of all the ones we have. The bridge rules with Chester just blowing the hell up lol. 10. Blue - Oh shit. Jammy, grungy, funky fresh. I really like this. SO different from any HT stuff and one of the best LP demos I've ever heard. It's like a Grey Daze meets Linkin Park sort of thing but with rapping. Nothing that aggressive...very laid back and chill but still really good. Mike rapping on this song is awesome. The bridge/end is typical Linkin Park Hybrid Theory nu-metal - Chester yelling with Mike every now and then. FAVORITE: Broken Foot, Esaul, Blue LEAST FAVORITE: Yo, Bang Three, Robot Boy
  22. LOL @ the booklet saying the tracks weren't edited in any way. I like it. Name in the CD booklet is badass.
  23. Pictureboard didn't make it! damn lol
  24. Damn Geki never seen such a good review from you about anything, this is a first lol. Glad you love the shit. Can't wait to hear it.
  25. No ATS b-sides? Hmm. HT b-sides though, holy shit. Never thought we'd see those. I wonder if one of them is from that song where they are jamming as Hybrid Theory in LA at a rehearsal. Hope more have vocals than LPUX. Early entrance = fucking awesome. Laminate and flag and earbuds, that's badass. Love laminates, those are my current thing. Can't wait to hear the music whenever we can hear it. ITE and APFMH demos...hmm.
