  1. Yep. Thanks - you reminded me to add the note to the Asian shows on this tour for the DSP sources. I can't wait for them to drop that song.
  2. I didn't want to draw unnecessary attention to that but you are right. You live and you learn with that. Our huge mistake with that was trusting one person in the staff with the account that donations were going to. To this day I don't even know how much was gathered. I was VERY hesitant to even think about doing this again after that but we really need it and we've held off until the very last minute. Repeated attempts to get that weren't responded to so I just chalked it up to a bad experience. Yes. We have taken many precautions this time in doing so but I guarantee that will never happen again. The staff email "thread" (gmail) has been going since September 2nd...112 emails (99 then it makes it go to another thread, 13 there) discussing this. This time you're going to see results. We are working on some stuff that will be AWESOME. I'll talk to Dmitry and get back with you soon or have him PM you.
  3. LPL isn't for sale Thanks! That's a good idea, let me email staff and run it by them.
  4. LOL! Email me at mark(at)lplive(dot)net and I'll reply asap. Numbers? 8, 12, 19, 24, 33, 45.

    LPL + You

Some of you may have recently noticed a small change to our homepage. LPLive is humbly requesting your help. For the first time in our 5 years of existence, we're asking for donations from our users. This will help cover the costs of acquiring exciting new exclusives and further improving the community. For example, the Hybrid Theory 8 Track Demo CD that included 'She Couldn't' and the Camden 2004 proshot video required significant monetary contributions from LPL staff. We have avoided asking for donations for a long as possible, but for us to remain completely ad-free (something we take very seriously when thinking long-term about the site) and to continue providing new exclusives we feel that it is necessary to ask for donations. Users who contribute $10 or more should supply their LPL forum username so we can acknowledge their generosity as well as granting a user title of their choice. As always, thanks for the support of the site over the years and for helping us keep it, as always, "For the fans, by the fans." -LPL Staff- To donate, CLICK HERE.
  6. Unfortunately (as much as I hate to say it), LPLive can't do this or support it because DSPs aren't allowed to be shared since they are for sale on that site. I promised Adam we'd stop (as a site) supporting the sharing of the DSPs and posting them here, etc. That means also we can't take your money to buy them and share them even on a private site. If you have the ability to donate and your goal is to get the DSPs, you should just buy the DSP yourself. We are opening donations for the actual site soon but they aren't going to be used for DSPs or anything "illegal". As a site we can't support what you're looking for. I've / we've been a bit more lenient in allowing discussion in this thread about DSPs that are available "elsewhere" and I think that's pretty generous.
  7. I am just wondering what a new setlist is to you. When the band debuted 3 new setlists in the US earlier this year, those weren't new setlists to you? Or if they take A-1 from last fall and swap Figure.09 for Messenger, is that new to you?
  8. So if they take A-1 that was played in Europe, Australia and the USA and swap in Figure.09 for The Messenger, that makes it a new set? You are contradicting yourself with what you say classifies a "new setlist".
  9. I have 2 codes and a friend has 3 left. After they are all up I'll see where we are and use the codes accordingly.
  10. He was sick apparently.
  11. Pooch: I am happy to report that Ted (Phoenix's bass technician) was the mystery bass player at last nights show.
  12. The last show of the Asian Tour for Linkin Park comes in Singapore, Singapore (lol). This is show number 11 of 11 in Asia. The band has performed in Singapore before, the first time being in 2004 at the same venue - The Padang for the last show of that 2004 tour as well (show page here with a lot of info). LP returned for the second show of the 2007 Asian Tour to the Singapore Indoor Stadium (show page here). Chester smacked himself in the face with a tennis racket before that show and during the show, fans broke his necklace and grabbed his broken arm....poor Chester! Fort Minor actually played that same venue the year before, in 2006, opening for 50 Cent (show page here). Three of the four cities on that Fort Minor Asia Tour have been played on this tour by Linkin Park, with the exception being Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, which LP has only played once before but in 2003 (show page here). This show is for the Singapore F1 Grand Prix. LP has already performed for the F1 Grand Prix on this touring cycle - last November in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (show page here), so this is the SECOND time they're playing a show for the F1 Grand Prix. At the last show in Bangkok, Thailand, something happened for the first time ever - a band member (Phoenix) did not play an entire show. We all know Phoenix missed part of the 2000 touring schedule because he was still touring with The Snax, but since then an LP member has never missed a full show. The closest they have come to that isn't even really close, but a guitar tech named Kurt filled in for Chester in Hindmarsh, Australia in 2007 (show page here) the show after he broke his arm. Pooch posted on his Twitter account the following message, "I am happy to report that Ted (Phoenix's bass technician) was the mystery bass player at last nights show." You can see Ted in this video of 'Given Up' from the show: We can also presume that 'Blackout' ended its run of five shows in a row due to Phoenix not playing the show. It was in the setlist for Bangkok but likely dropped because of no Dave. Otherwise the show went off pretty well...minor technical difficulties shortened a bit but , contrary to the first reports we got from the show, was actually played after all. Regardless, this will be an interesting DSP to check out and to see whether Mike or Chester said anything about Dave during the show. As of right now, we don't really know what happened to Phoenix. Any guesses or wants for the last show of the tour? Want to see 'Blackout' one more time in Asia? 'No Roads Left' over 'Bleed It Out' again? Shoutout to Jasparina from LPTimes.com who is going to this show - follow her updates here. Anyone from LPLive going? The last show of 2011 is in Pensacola Beach, Florida next month on October 16 for the DeLuna Festival. After that, the band will return to the studio to write and record another album. For the full 2011 tour schedule click here. SETLIST: (thanks to Jonathan) 01. New Divide (Moscow Intro) 02. From The Inside 03. One Step Closer 04. Lying From You 05. Moscow Intro returns!
  13. Wow, shoutout to whoever knows all the LP songs well enough to play the show. I wonder if they made an announcement about it during the show. Another look at him: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vLFJp12keVs
  14. I bet a guitar tech will play for him like at this show: http://lplive.net/shows/20071016.php
  15. Thanks for the updates. Wow....
  16. Thanks for the updates. Hopefully they don't cut any songs like last time in Bangkok.
  17. Yeast isn't the show about to start? lol - are you at the venue?
  18. I don't think the show has started yet.
  19. Got it thanks - downloaded in like 3 minutes flat, haha. Seeding now for others.
  20. Someone hop on and seed, I'll get it and seed for everyone else...upload speed is like 250kbps~.
  21. The second to last show of the Asian Tour for Linkin Park comes in Bangkok, Thailand on the 23rd as they are set to play at Aktive Square. This is the tenth show in Asia out of eleven total, the final coming in Singapore on the 25th. LP has played in Thailand twice...Bangkok both times- the first appearance coming in 2004 (show page here). Ironically, the end of that five show run in Asia in 2004 ended the same way this tour is ending, with shows at Bangkok's Aktive Square and Singapore's Padang being the last two shows of the tour. In 2007, Bangkok was the first show of the Asian Tour (show page here) and had two songs dropped ('Crawling' and 'The Little Things Give You Away') due to the show starting really late....maybe LP arrived late to the venue? Chester also visited Thailand in February 2005 to tour tsunami damage and visit with locals. This occurred shortly before the first of only two LP shows in 2005 - the Music For Relief Benefit Show (show page here) for victims of the tsunami disaster in Asia in 2004. In addition, Fort Minor played the same venue in February 2006 (show page here) on their Asian Tour when they opened up for 50 Cent. Here's a video of 'Don't Stay' opening the show the first time they played Bangkok, with that awesome 2004 'Gacela Of The Dark Death' intro we all love so much: So, on to this tour. 'Blackout' has now been played at five shows in a row: Yokohama, Nagoya, Osaka, Taipei and Jakarta. Will it make it into the set for the last two shows in Asia? If so, it will have been played a total of 8 times on this tour and that will tie the record for the tour with the most "Blackouts" (the North American Tour earlier this year). 'Cure For The Itch' doesn't look like it's going to reappear in 2011 unless it's used in Pensacola, FL for the one-off show at the DeLuna Festival next month. After being sung over the bridge of 'Bleed It Out' twice in a row (at Chiba night 2 and in Yokohama), 'No Roads Left' hasn't made an appearance at the last four shows. Will it come back for one of the final two shows of the tour? Any other guesses for the end of the tour? - Live updates for this show were from LPTimes, AmmieTheStrange and LPAssociation - SETLIST: 01. The Requiem 02. Papercut 03. Lying From You 04. Given Up 05. What I've Done 06. Empty Spaces 07. When They Come For Me 08. No More Sorrow 09. Jornada Del Muerto 10. Waiting For The End 11. Burning In The Skies 12. Numb 13. The Radiance (Live Version) 14. Breaking The Habit 15. Fallout (Abbreviated / shortened) 16. The Catalyst 17. Crawling 18. Faint 19. One Step Closer --------------------------- 20. Wisdom, Justice, & Love 21. Iridescent 22. New Divide 23. In The End 24. Bleed It Out ('A Place For My Head' bridge) - The show started much later than planned due to rain/bad weather. - 'Blackout was dropped' and 'Fallout' was shortened. - Phoenix did not appear at this show. EDIT: Video of 'The Requiem' and 'Papercut' with a crew member playing bass on the right side of the stage.
  22. Yeah Wretches and Blackout in the same set would be pretty sweet. That's only happened a few times. http://lplive.net/shows/20101213.php What an epic setlist. Best of the MTM touring cycle by far.
  23. Nagoya is up.
  24. We aren't allowed to post the shows so I think us asking for them publicly is a bad idea.
