  1. Hong Kong DSP is up @ usual place
  2. Yeah technically it is a new setlist, a new form of A1 but dang. Not what we thought they'd do.
  3. http://lplive.net/shows/20090816.php 1:30~. Not much of it but he tried it at least.
  4. Linkin Park's fourth show in Japan this year comes in Nagoya, Japan on the 14th, where they will be playing at the Nippon Gaishi Hall. The band has played this same venue once before - on the 2007 Asia Tour (show page here). This will be the sixth show in Asia on this tour with five left to go after it. Counting the two US shows in late August, this is the eighth show out of fourteen on the fall run this year. At the last show in Yokohama, LP played the setlist we've seen before (but not on this tour until Yokohama) with 'Papercut' opening and 'Wisdom, Justice, & Love' being played mid-set. 'Blackout', a fan favorite, was played again for the first time since June in Germany (show page here). We've now seen three different setlists on this tour ('Faint' opening and the two different ones with 'Papercut' opening). Will this be all that the band plays in Asia? I believe the highlight of the tour for everyone so far has been Mike singing 'No Roads Left' over 'Bleed It Out'. It looks like our guesses of 'Robot Boy' debuting on this tour, "A Thousand Suns" being played in full and songs like 'With You', 'Somewhere I Belong' and 'Points Of Authority' aren't going to pan out, but the band does look to be in great shape and the crowds are really bringing it on this tour. Here's a great video of 'Faint' opening the show in Chiba, Japan recently: What do you guys think they'll play in Nagoya? Will we get 'No Roads Left' in full at some point? Do you think it's a great addition to the bridge of 'Bleed It Out'? An interesting note is that Mike and Chester originally started singing 'Burning In The Skies' over 'Bleed It Out' in 2010 before they debuted the full song later that year in Australia. Could the same happen for 'No Roads Left'? The show also falls on the one year anniversary of "A Thousand Suns"! Do you think the band will do anything special for it? Anyone from LPLive going to Nagoya? M&G? On the 16th, LP plays their last show in Japan on this tour when they play in Osaka, a city they're quite familiar with. On the 19th, they head to Taipei, TW and wrap up the tour with four shows in four different countries. For the full 2011 tour schedule, click here. SETLIST: 01. The Requiem 02. Papercut 03. Lying From You 04. Given Up 05. What I've Done 06. Empty Spaces 07. When They Come For Me 08. No More Sorrow 09. Jornada Del Muerto 10. Waiting For The End 11. Burning In The Skies 12. Numb 13. The Radiance (Live Version) 14. Breaking The Habit 15. Fallout 16. The Catalyst 17. Crawling 18. Faint 19. One Step Closer ------------------------------ 20. Wisdom, Justice & Love 21. Iridescent 22. Blackout 23. New Divide 24. In The End 25. Bleed It Out (w/ 'A Place For My Head' and drum solo bridge)
  5. I think it sounded great. I hope him doing it over 'Bleed It Out' gives him the confidence to try the whole song on this tour. Only a few shows left though....
  6. This is the set: 01. The Requiem 02. Papercut 03. Lying From You 04. Given Up 05. What I've Done 06. Empty Spaces 07. When They Come For Me 08. No More Sorrow 09. Jornada Del Muerto 10. Waiting For The End 11. Burning In The Skies 12. Numb 13. The Radiance (Live Version) 14. Breaking The Habit 15. Fallout 16. The Catalyst 17. Crawling 18. Faint 19. One Step Closer -------------------------- 20. Wisdom, Justice, & Love 21. Iridescent 22. Shadow Of The Day 23. New Divide 24. In the End 25. Bleed It Out ('A Place For My Head' bridge)
  7. Looks like Yokohama falls victim to the first show to go without a pre-show post in a long time, haha! Anyway, LP played at the Yokohama Arena on the 13th, where they've played once before in 2003 (show page here). SETLIST: 01. The Requiem 02. Papercut 03. Given Up 04. New Divide 05. Faint 06. Empty Spaces 07. When They Come For Me 08. No More Sorrow 09. Jornada Del Muerto 10. Waiting For The End 11. Wisdom, Justice, & Love 12. Iridescent (Mike speaking Japanese on the bridge) 13. Numb 14. The Radiance (Live Version) 15. Breaking The Habit 16. Shadow Of The Day 17. Crawling 18. One Step Closer ----------------------------------- 19. Fallout 20. The Catalyst 21. Blackout 22. In The End 23. What I've Done 24. Bleed It Out (w/ 'No Roads Left' & 'A Place For My Head' bridge) 'Blackout' has returned! And a video of 'No Roads Left' over 'Bleed It Out': Thoughts on the set? Do you think 'Blackout' should be played more often? Are you enjoying 'No Roads Left'?
  8. Hong Kong is up! I think people aren't as interested in them because they don't change the sets much at all lol. If they played some cool stuff I bet they'd be shared ASAP. I'm even losing interest in getting them all.
  9. MSG crowd sucked because it was in the US, lol. US crowds don't go nuts anymore really for some reason. You missed Papercut. In order over BIO we had: RME (2008; 2010-2011) Papercut (2009) BITS (2010-2011) APFMH (2010-2011) NRL (2011) Hope they keep doing NRL. Need the full song debut por favor. Mike sounded good. Of course no one will know it but that doesn't mean their OPINION is bad of it. I've seen stuff live I didn't know by an artist and sure, I stand still and look at it but I'm like "woah I love this band and I've never heard this song, what is this? time to go on the internet and find out...because that sounded pretty cool". It gets people's minds going. So what if the crowd isn't jamming? Throw APFMH in after it and the place erupts. Win/win.
  10. Part 3 of the LPTV series from this year's summer European Tour can be found below: What do you think?
  11. Linkin Park plays in Chiba, Japan (right outside of Tokyo) on the 10th for their first show in Japan since August 2009 in Okinawa (show page here). Their trip to Japan includes two nights at the Makuhari Messe, which they've played once before in 2007 for Live Earth Japan (show page here). That was the show where the fans broke the barricade and the show was held up for a bit! LP first played in Japan on May 14, 2001 in Tokyo (show page here). Osaka (show page here) and Nagoya were on that same leg of the US-to-Europe Tour. Chester took the opportunity at those shows to play by Jane's Addiction. They returned in 2003 and played Yokohama, Osaka and three nights at Tokyo's Nippon Budokan (which was well documented by fans - there's great recordings of all three shows and even Yokohama and Osaka). 'My December' was added to the setlist for the second night of that Tokyo run and stayed for night three along with the addition of 'Nobody's Listening' - nice! An interesting fact is that is the only time the band has played three nights in a row at the same venue. We all are familiar with the 2006 shows in Japan (including three nights at the Summer Sonic Festival) - how could we forget the live debuts of 'QWERTY', 'Reading My Eyes' (by Linkin Park), 'Pushing Me Away (Piano Version)' and other cool changes to the set? LPLive released a proshot version of 'QWERTY' as an exclusive, which you can check out here: In 2007, LP played the Makuhari Messe like I said above but used it to announce their fall tour in November that would bring them back to Japan. On that run, they played two nights in Saitama-Shi and shows in Osaka and Nagoya. 2009 took them to the Summer Sonic Festival again with shows in Tokyo and Osaka as well as playing a headlining gig in Okinawa a few days later. So as you can see, LP is very familiar with Japan, their third largest fanbase, and has debuted some great songs there. This should give us even more reason to be excited for the shows there on this tour. The 5th LPU Summit is ongoing in Chiba right now, with M&Gs for some people occurring today while the rest of the main Summit activities take place tomorrow. This Summit takes place over three days for some people - see the link above for more information. So with all of the information about their previous shows there and the knowledge that LP the past few tours has changed their sets after the first few shows of a tour, do you think Chiba will get a brand new set? Is this the show 'Robot Boy' will be debuted at? Or an older song like 'With You'? Will a random song make a return? What do you think? 'A Thousand Suns' in full? I'd have to say after following the last few tours that this is the show the band will move from their B16 set to another one...but we'll see. 'Wretches & Kings' hasn't been played since early this year - would you like to see that return, perhaps? I say anything can happen in Japan! Everyone is watching these shows closely after we heard that LP was planning "new sets, different than Europe" for this tour. Who's headed to the Summit? Any LPLive members attending the shows? Tomorrow LP plays the same venue again with shows in Yokohama, Osaka and Nagoya coming in the next week. The full 2011 tour schedule can be found here. SETLIST: 01. The Requiem 02. Papercut 03. Lying From You 04. Given Up 05. What I've Done 06. Empty Spaces 07. When They Come For Me 08. No More Sorrow 09. Jornada Del Muerto 10. Waiting For The End 11. Burning In The Skies 12. Numb 13. The Radiance (Live Version) 14. Breaking The Habit 15. Fallout 16. The Catalyst 17. Crawling 18. Faint 19. One Step Closer -------------------------- 20. Wisdom, Justice, & Love 21. Iridescent 22. Shadow Of The Day 23. New Divide 24. In the End 25. Bleed It Out ('A Place For My Head' bridge)
  12. Same. Hope it's worth the short amount of sleep lol
  13. Exactly. Some shows get added literally right beforehand. Irvine and Mountain View this year were added the day before or something like that. Epicenter 09 wasn't even ever added until after the fact LOL. It'll be up.
  14. Yep that's happened a good number of times - at least 5~. I know off the top of my head it happened here: http://lplive.net/shows/20070817.php http://lplive.net/shows/20080712.php Both are listed on the show page. I know it's happened a few more times as well. Usually only from 2007+ when they started traveling differently to shows, aka not on a tour bus or all together but usually flying show to show or driving in pairs or whatever. What 4 were at this M&G? I can add it to the Seoul show page. Also, can you scan your ticket and M&G pass for us and send it to pics@lplive.net? That'd be awesome - we otherwise won't have anything for this show since you're the only LPLive member that went. Glad you had fun!! Sucks about the M&G I was at the M&G in Sunrise, FL this year for the soundcheck, not the LPU M&G (first show of 2011) and Brad was sick so he didn't come out, so I only got 5. It feels weird without them all. When I was at the 2 person M&G in 2009 it felt soooo odd. Great show it sounds like
  15. Yeah I think the other one was during the actual show and this one is from the soundcheck.
  16. I thought Seoul would be the same as Hong Kong. LP always does the same set a few times to start a tour. The first 2 shows are over so it's time for the new set in Tokyo. Game time for LP.
  17. Uhh probably so since every festival in 2011 has been released. KROQ Weenie Roast, BFD, Download, NovaRock, etc. Pensacola will come I bet. I think the days of LP not releasing certain "full" shows is over - I think in the future LP will release every full show whether it's an LP headlining gig or a festival. I don't see a reason why Pensacola wouldn't be released.
  18. Linkin Park has announced today that their "A Thousand Horizons" event will be streaming live online, viewable here. The event will be live from Tokyo at 4:00 AM PDT (Sept 9). "A Thousand Horizons" has two parts - a museum and an event (art show). The museum is free but the event is for LPU members only - a part of the LPU Summit in Tokyo. The official description reads: "Before the final leg of their A Thousand Suns World Tour, Linkin Park will present a unique charity art show, honoring the victims of the March 11th earthquake and tsunami disaster. A brand new film, featuring an unreleased Linkin Park remix, will be screened at this unique event at Tokyo’s NicoFarre space." LP will also be doing a Q&A session after the art show. Who will be watching the event live? What unreleased song do you think will be presented at the event? UPDATE: Chester sang 'The Messenger', LP presented their art show with a few remixes of songs and then did a Q&A session! Discuss below!
  19. This is badass. Props to everyone on staff that made this happen (not me). Glad we were able to collaborate with especially some well known international sites.
  20. Unless WJL is in one of the other 2 sets
  21. Las Vegas and Los Angeles DSP's are up. Updated the thread.
  22. There's already a thread on this somewhere here (someone feel free to find it) from ages ago, this is nothing new lol
  23. Same set. Hope Japan gets the gooooooood stuff
  24. That's, like I said, one of the best ones I've seen. Very impressive flag. I wish we could have gotten it somehow and I'd give it back to you.
