  1. If Slipknot, Machine Head, Suicide Silence or Bring Me the Horizon tour with LP, I will eat my own head Nice lineup nonetheless.
  2. Strange, I haven't heard any pop songs with Oppenheimer and Martin Luther King interviews contained within them lately...
  3. Obviously this is a more "charity intentioned" episode, but it was a bit boring. They could have shown them backstage deciding to do Cure for the Itch
  4. That and Crawling. Rare songs that should be more greatly appreciated.
  5. Much as I love ATS as an album, I gotta choose the Hybrid Theory/Meteora era- though I wouldn't want them to go back to it, by any means.
  6. Maybe in the US Staind have survived more, but here in the UK they're all but completely vanished, while Papa Roach are on a steady downward slide. Korn, meanwhile, are about to release one of the most talked about metal albums of the year. As for Hollywood Undead... let's face it, anyone taking them seriously is doing it wrong.
  7. The fact is, the only nu metal artists that have truly survived and still retain commercial success are Korn, Disturbed and Evanescence. Yes, bands like Staind, Papa Roach and P.O.D. are still around, but they're so irrelevant in the modern music industry they may as well just split up. Nu metal is dead, metalcore's filled the void.
  8. Exhibit A Exhibit B A was a commercial flop, B a number one album. A is a nu metal album, B is not. Still think nu metal ain't dead?
  9. I second this motion, more Rob love! Another one could be that Rob is both the youngest and tallest member of the band.
  10. Nu metal began in 1994, but nice nonetheless.
  11. LP are still very much a rock band. They take influence from other genres, most notably electronica and hip hop, but they're stil definitely rock. The only song on ATS you could really call pop is Waiting for the End, and that's a long shot.
  12. A terrible loss for the industry and the world in general. He will be remembered forever as one of the world's greatest innovators.
  13. Really bad example, considering how different their 80s and 90s albums are- they went from being a thrash metal band to a blues rock one...
  14. Decent song, and a really good video. It's funny how successful that song's become, considering it's not even on an album. Kinda shows how redundant albums are becoming, which makes me a sad duck.
