  1. Jigga What/Faint - it only really gets good in the Faint part :/
  2. "I dont care so long as they're talking about us, any publicity is still publicity" - Chester on Loveline 2007
  3. quite funny though that the person singing Chester's part does actually sound similar on the "like this" repeat and then he starts singing...
  4. ahhh i found these vids too. there's videos with audio for Conoga Park, CA ... yeah, sure...
  5. ok, both my HTEP's have "Josepph Hahn"...
  6. so agree with this - the way Chester says "don't be afraid", just really softly is brilliant. it's a phrase usually associated with a threat, but then he follows it with "i've taken my beating" - it's like showing someone important to you your faults and scars... I cannot understand the argument that LP's music became "less mature" since MT... it baffles me... Absolutely - a song means nothing if you can't relate to it.
  7. ha yeah i don't understand the point of lusting after VHS and tapes. I like hearing b-sides an looking at album art. I'm also trying to work out if my HTEP's are junk or not, I didn't pay loads but.. talk to Ginger - he had a couple of Cardsleeves and promos he said he was putting up for sale
  8. ha epic. i also always assume everyone on this site's a guy, no problem "little"!? ________________________________________________________________ on another note... check this out thoughts...?
  9. just found an interesting vid on youtube, from when LP where known as HT, from a programme featuring upcoming bands. there's is a trailer for the series, and there's another vid of Joe talking about scratching and stuff. it's definitely old since they're playing through the APFMH demo - "i hate when they say that i live for them..." - and Chester doesn't even have his flame tatts yet... (lol at his fucking hair and 'tache too...) EDIT: i think this is the full segment (there are various versions in different quality, this one just happened to include the clips from both different lockouts and the clip with Joe - type "linkin park lockout" in the search) 2 questions... what was the broadcast/recording date for this? - it's a live session so you could add it to the Live guide if anyone happens to know... but more importantly, does anyone know the song being played at 2m40s?
  10. it's amazing that so many people bitch about setlists not being different, certain songs appearing, or even not appearing... think about it - a tiny, intimate venue playing host to a massively succesful band, where most of the audience has to be willing to raise a whopping $500, a task which requires a hell of a lot of determination, for a charity they probably only know about because they're ALL big fans of the band in question. I bet it was an incredible show, and I would have given my right arm to be there, so would it totally destroy everyone to stop fucking complaining?... [/rant]
  11. ahh right fine, i'm only really subscribed to LPL, although i've heard of them, I don't go on sites like LPTimes and LPA alot... thanks though EDIT: I also feel a bit warm and fuzzy inside seeing you quote me in your sig haha
  12. how is it natural for you to type like this...?
  13. haha thanks man. I'll be much less productive now - money's gotta be saved (making an exception for the LPU11 CD though..) also thanks for that info on the 8-track - i'd probably be the dumbass who'd go for that. I reckon I have a fake HTEP you really don't need Songs From The Underground, trust me
  14. don't worry about it man, i'm consistently bumping topics and probably pissing off ALOT of people... :/ oh yeah and welcome to LPL if you're sure you're correct, add it to this thread and i'm sure some LPL god will verify it... happy forum-ing
  15. am i the only one who found it funny that the LPU email has only just gone out...? "LPU SUMMIT!" "don't tell the members..." hahaha
  16. that's fine dude, you had a question, i answered glad to help you out
  17. Mike said in an interview on Radio 1 it was because they started skateboarding across Metallica's stage and setting up a picnic (with a blanket and everything...) while the band were getting all serious in their really heavy songs like Master Of Puppets... you're thinking of Miami, April 2001 @ Bayfront Park Amphitheatre, and yes, there's a video source - rather bad quality and not the whole show, but yeah a source exists
  18. I'm pretty sure Amy Winehouse wasn't a one-hit wonder... well not in the uk, and CERTAINLY not now she's joined club 27
  19. ok, you totally said what i tried to say in a way shorter time... points to you haha
  20. 01.08.09 - Sonisphere, Knebworth UK yes, only one show... my friend and I waited the entire day on the front row - totally worth it... would've gone to see them in 2011, the ATS UK touring cycle was right in the middle of 1st term at uni, didn't really have the money to get tickets AND train travel
