I think Ryan really rocks the Gibson. Would have never expected both of them to play Gibsons, by the way. I just couldn't imagine them playing these kinds of guitars (especially since they had always been playing more modern-looking and self-modified guitars such as Ibanez RG's or the Yamaha ones), but now that I saw them with these guitars, I must say it suits them well and looks great! I really liked the video by the way. The perspectives were awesome and the guys look great in it, as does Talinda. I also like the effects a lot, even though they remind me of the White Stripes video of "Seven Nation Army" at times. I wouldn't say it's better than CBI but maybe right now I like it more because it's new *haha* And the atmosphere that the video creates definitely fits to the song.

Oh yeah, for sure! I even offered to get them a great booker here in Germany or to try to get them some shows by myself since I have some connections to venues. But yeah, so far it wasn't possible for them. I just hope 2010 will have the first German JK show They already have a lot of German fans as of now, and of course we are working on "converting" even more people *laughs* Since we have a great electronica scene, they would also surely fit in with their sound!

I agree! I didn't really like the CBI cover artwork, though.

I actually think "In The Darkness" is kinda made to be played acoustically when it comes to performing that song live. And it might have been too stressful for the guys to pick up their acoustic guitars during the short sets that they already had. But maybe we will get to hear it in the future--maybe even the studio version

Umm, like Astat said, only Chester is supposed to be playing with Slash on Nov 22nd, so this wouldn't be a DBS show but just a guest appearance by Chester. It might be very straining for him but he could definitely do it if he for example flies back to L.A. right after the show. This doesn't mean that the other guys from JK would have to join him on his trip back, though A JK show in Paris would be KICKASS but yeah, I rather doubt it at this point. But if all members are gonna fly back to the States right after the show, I don't think they would come back to do any more promotion or even shows here in Europe--at least not at this point in November.

Agreed! And regarding your first point: I wouldn't say Pooch's mixing sucks but I liked Fu's mixings way better! I also didn't like MTM that much in general, as you might know. I think the guys were changing their sound too much and basically trying out everything at once, and maybe they also worked too long on that album so that they lost some of the atmosphere and focus that they had when they started writing new songs for tat album. It just didn't do it for me. Every song I think is lacking a real highlight, even though there are of course some quite good songs on it.

How about the Reanimation remix with Kelli Ali joining on vocals?

I actually learned French for 6 years but now it's been two years since I'm out of school and I've never been good in speaking in it anyways *laughs* I understand a lot and I'm quite good at writing but yeah, speaking is difficult!

Maybe the organizers also want to keep it as a secret but the band accidentally gave it away? Another reason might be that DBS had to cancel the performance - which would kinda suck. We have to wait and see, I guess!

Haha, well, it was like that because Hamburg was considered to be sort of a secret show... Nothing really public... But I think if there is gonna be a real tour or some official shows, they will announce it a lot earlier. Maybe still late but not TOO LATE And you can usually get through with English or even German in Paris

If they don't do some shows around that time here in Germany or if they are doing shows here in Germany that are farther away than the Paris one, I'll most likely go to the Paris show, especially since it's on the weekend So yeah, count me in if no other dates will be confirmed!

By the way: In his tweet Chester doesn't exactly speak about DBS playing there (could also be LP), but if you read the question that Chester replied to, you will find that it is definitely about DBS
