  1. I knew I'd regret not going to their last 2011 tour! (couldnt have done one of the dates anyway as it clashed) But if it means them working on a new album sooner, by all means I'll wait a bit longer!
  2. Ah cool, intereresting. That makes sense for a live perspective as I never could see what Rob was doing live, but i could clearly hear that insane beat pattern in the verses - which where louder live than in the studio version
  3. What about the first verse of "Victimized"? I'm pretty sure thats too fast to be done on just a single kick pedal. Of course that part might not be a "live" drum part in the recording of it, but to me it sounds like a double. I dunno about the live version however.
  4. Yeah, Jusging by the votes so far, P5hng comes out on top with Figure.09 second, and Don't stay third surprisingly. Easier to Run, Reading my Eyes, And One and High Voltage are also up there. Good choices I reckon. I'd be happy with any of these save Don't stay (though I'd still enjoy, but there's plenty of better songs in their catalogue).
  5. i think you guys should have rethunk the poll to a limit of 2 options. cause everyones voting for literally everything and its hard to tell what the majority want on first glance
  6. interesting topic. I do hope LP one day finally overshadow their nu metal past. Cause at the moment it no matter what they do they still can't shake off there old image in the joe public's eye. So unless LP make another genre bending album of greatness anytime soon, i'm afraid the'll be stuck with this nu metal label forever.
  7. so the 6 live tracks add up to around 20 - 25 mins right? To me this doesn't warrant a second disc. at least the MTM tour edition had them all on one disc and the ATS one literally had a full concert on the 2nd disc. >_>
  8. Meteora in full! :awesome: jokes aside, i'll love them to play In pieces and Hit the Floor again.... But ONLY if they do them justice. In pieces was one of my fave songs of there's but it was really dispointing live. if not that, the Pushing remix or Easier to Run. They both could sound incredible now
  9. Speaking of which, it'll be brilliant if LP played on that "in the basement" show aired on Sky Arts hear in the UK. Bands like Red Hot Chilli Pepper, Radiohead and Scissor Sisters have been on it. I'd love to see LP perform on it although it seems unlikely
  10. Yeah, for ages we all thought the last line was: "Analysing by the power of your soul!" or something stupid
  11. Well thats still better than the ZERO nominations "the Dark Knight Rises" got. Fair enough, we'd be delusional if we thought either had a chance at best film/director. But surely Cinematography, music or Editing would be a fair for TDKR? Guess not...
  12. As far as I'm concerned, its not whether its "the old stuffs better than the new stuff" or visa-versa. But its the hits. Anything that isn't a single is winner in my book, be it A place for my Head or Until it breaks! I hope someone encourages Phi to put some crazy slap-bass on the next album!
  13. Hmm interesting, cheers for enlightening me. Record lables have always been a pain when it comes to instrumentals. They always want licensing permissions at an extensive fee. Very frustrating especially when your a film-maker and need a certain track.
  14. While i was searching for it an old thread from 2011 came up with you saying "we can't host them on" here or something similar How come you guys can release demos e.g. "She Couldn't" yet not the HT instrumental promo? Neither where officially released where they?
  15. Nice! Good lyrics they are too, Although i still like EOTW's final lyrics, these would have still been interesting nontheless.
  16. THIS. Probably the crown jewel that came out of the Meteora era. Such a badass idea to transition from one song to the next. Jeeze, excuses. They just lazy and can't contemplate performing the most musically complex song on Meteora. For once Phi doesn't play root notes and Rob's all over the drums,
  17. 01: A Place For My Head (2008 version) 02: VICTIMIZED/QWERTY 03: No More Sorrow (long intro) 04: When They come For Me 05: Faint (with extended outro) That would be sweet. Already seen 4 of 6. Even if they played just those 6 songs, it'll still probably be one of my favourite gigs ever
  18. Pretty good one Ducko, though In Pieces shouldn't be on there! Although on 2nd thought.... it was incredibly disappointing live. Such a damn shame considering its on e of LP's best IMO
  19. Hm but their not just the Rock Band/Guitar hero rips? I think i recall LPL mentioning this before, but nothing was officially announced in the newsfeed. I'll have to do some digging if they are though!
  20. haha thats cool, its best to pace them out (like LP with the LPU demos) if you release them all at once they'll be none left for future exclusives anytime soon
  21. Whats funny is that the acoustic version of Let down they played at Club tattoo was way more like the original 2005 version than the album version was. The guys must have knew the original still had its perks otherwise they wouldn't have gone back to it. Also i still find it funny that the Morning After studio version is too similar to the original Julien-K remix. Its like there was never original version to begin with so they just made the remix more "rocky" and put the synths lower in the mix
  22. DBS really deserve another chance to prove that chester's got legs outside of LP. Sure OOA was over produced, but it was a damn good rocker of an album.
  23. IMR or IBG would be the perfect for last single from LT. The promotion with most of this albums singles havent been that great so might as well finish with a solid track. Bring on the next album cycle!
  24. Y NO "MY DECEMBER" TEAM SLEEP REMIX! In all seriousness, that one above all should be released. Considering many Reanimation remixes/demos have appeared out of the woodwork these past few years. We know it exists, yet somethings stopping LP and/or Chino from releasing it.
