  1. The round is finished: X-Ecutioner Style 14 Plc.4 Mie Haed 2 My<Dsmbr 2 P5hng Me A*wy 1 That was pretty decisive lol. X-Ecutioner style is gone. Here are the remaining songs from Reanimation: 1. Opening 2. Pts.OF.Athrty 3. Enth E Nd 4. Frgt/10 5. P5hng Me A*wy 6. Plc.4 Mie Haed 9. Wth>You 10. Ntr\Mssion 11. Ppr:Kut 12. Rnw@y 13. My<Dsmbr 14. By_Myslf 15. Kyur4 th Ich 16. 1stp Klosr 17. Krwlng I'm voting for Haed. I can't stand the guest verse on it. Completely ruins an otherwise good remix.
  2. I'll probably track this while I'm studying for my Physics exam. I'm really hoping that Linkin Park bring back the Reanimation bridge on One Step Closer.
  3. I'm glad to hear that Mike can pull this off live.
  4. But Mike starts Iridescent (piano and him singing). Do you mean The Messenger?
  5. Looks like I was wrong. I picked Blackout but ended up liking Waiting for the End the best.
  6. I really don't think the tracklist can get any better than it currently is. The only thing I'd consider changing is removing The Messenger since it doesn't fit much with the musical component of the album.
  7. I'm loving that comparison to my other favorite album ever (The Fragile). Another 5/5 star review! Awesome!
  8. This is the only track I didn't absolutely love on first listen. I believe the reason for that was that it caught me completely off-guard. It's so much different from the rest of the album. That being said, I love that song now and believe that every song on this album is among the best LP have ever done.

  10. I bet they'll rework older songs to fit in with the new stuff. I'm hoping for a couple Reanimation tracks like P5ng and 1 Stp Klsr. That would be pretty epic. Also, with how Mike's singing more, I'd like to see No Roads Left. As for the actual A Thousand Suns tracks, they better release Iridescent as a single so that they can get thousands of people singing that choir part in there. I also can't wait to hear how Mike sounds live since he's doing a lot of singing on this album.
  11. The stage set-up was really, really, cool.
  12. It sounds like "church rock band" music. I mean nothing bad by that. It has a very epic buildup in the structure of the song that I just really like. Lyrically, it's amazing and I love the vocal performances from both Chester and Mike. I wasn't expecting a song like this and I think that's why it blew me away like it did.
  13. This. And this. Close, but I've still gotta go with "The Fragile" and "Reptile" (both by Nine Inch Nails) as better. Anyways, I love this song. I love how the parts with Chester singing remind me of The Beatles. The rapping is cool as well because of the melodic thing that Mike is doing. This song is really, really, really, good.
  14. I'm guessing December of 2012. But seriously, isn't it a little too early? I mean, A Thousand Suns just got released (and isn't released til tomorrow in the U.S.).
  15. I'm going to do the A Thousand Suns one after the b-sides one I think. It gives people a longer period of time to digest the album and really decide what they like from the album.
  16. Actually, I'm pretty sure it's a vocoder. And yeah, it's Mike according to people who went to the listening parties.
  17. I love the Jay-Z reference: "even a blueprint is a gift and a curse" and of course the Chuck D reference from the beginning of the second verse.
  18. I can't vote for one. I love every single song on this album. That may be just because it's new. If at some point I can vote for something, I will. But, as of right now, I just can't vote for any of them.
  19. I enjoyed the performance even though they cut out my favorite part of the song. Can't wait to hear a full live version.
  20. Sorry about the delay, I was suspended for spreading the ATS leak. The round is finished: X-Ecutioner Style 5 Opening 1 Enth E Nd 1 My<Dsmbr 1 Ntr\Mssion 2 H! 21. Chester probably sounds tacked on since most of the album was recorded (I think) while he was with DBS.
  22. After a handful of listens, here's my favorites: 1. Waiting for the End 2. Jornada Del Muerto 3. Blackout 4. When They Come For Me 5. Wretches and Kings 6. Wisdom, Justice, and Love 7. Iridescent 8. The Requiem 9. The Catalyst 10. Robot Boy 11. Burning in the Skies 12. Fallout 13. The Messenger 14. The Radiance (should have been tacked on to the end of The Requiem) 15. Empty Spaces (should have been tacked on to the beginning of Burning in the Skies)
  23. Because you didn't want to wait 5 months?
  24. I'm sure that Rob, Brad, and Phoenix are very present on this album, just not in the way they have been in the past. We already know that Brad yells into a megaphone. That appeared on When They Come For Me. There are plenty of "group vocal" moments that probably consist of the whole band singing/chanting. I wouldn't be surprised if Rob played most of the electronic drums with an electronic kit.
  25. I can't understand how people thought it was a different song. It had the same synth sound.
