The point of the DVD was more to show the mindset of the band during the recording than to actually show the process of the recording. I liked it because it was a different take on what a "making of" DVD can be.
Here's my tentative setup for ATS:
1. The Requiem/The Radiance
2. Burning in the Skies
3. Empty Spaces/When They Come For Me
4. Robot Boy
5. Jornada Del Muerto
6. Waitiing for the End
7. Blackout
8. Wretches and Kings
9. Wisdom, Justice, and Love
10. Iridescent
11. Fallout/The Catalyst (since the Fallout synth is the intro synth for the Catalyst [or is at least very similar])
12. The Messenger
I think that should set up the election nicely.
Everyone needs to stop complaining about the DVD. We've got some good insight into the recording of the album through the LPTV videos and stuff. I'm sure they're not going to stop giving us videos like that and I'm sure somebody can edit them into a making-of DVD or video for the album.
So, is the remix done by the band Does it Offend You, Yeah??
Or is that just a coincidence?
Edit: read further on the Wiki page and appear to have answered my question. It says that it is. Awesome.
But what if Trey Songz debuted at number one and one of his fans decided to bash you for liking Linkiin Park? Would you be unable to defend yourself because LP took the number 2 spot? And at the same time: would you feel like Trey Songz is better if one of his fans pulled out the fact that his album went #1?
It seems like a pretty weak stance to say that an album is better based on sales.
The round is finished:
Plc.4 Mie Haed 2
P5hng Me A*wy 3
Enth E Nd 6
Pts.OF.Athrty 2
Ppr:kut 1
My<Dsmbr 3
Enth E Nd is gone. I can't believe that 3 people voted for Pushing!
Here are the remaining songs from Reanimation:
2. Pts.OF.Athrty
4. Frgt/10
5. P5hng Me A*wy
6. Plc.4 Mie Haed
9. Wth>You
11. Ppr:Kut
12. Rnw@y
13. My<Dsmbr
14. By_Myslf
15. Kyur4 th Ich
16. 1stp Klosr
17. Krwlng
It looks like I'll have to keep voting Haed...
Why does everybody care about how much it sells? If you like the music, the amount of sales shouldn't change that.
And, let's be honest, it's a Linkin Park album and will sell enough to go at least platinum eventually.
