Well we already know that Faint is different. It has a different intro and outro according to Derek's review. I am curious about Plaster 2 though.

Massive is super cool. I always love when we get to hear Mike singing pre-MTM.

It definitely sounds rougher than the LPU9 version. Cool to finally hear it with vocals.

What all have they premiered so far?

The Foot Duology have the same tempo and some similar drum patterns. Parts of Healing Foot kinda sound like Broken Foot but with more layers.

I wonder if it was intentional that they only released songs with Chester vocals that were complete songs. There are almost certainly demos out there that contain just a Chester chorus with no verses (or vise versa) they could have included but decided not to.

Lost could be Serpent or Nocturnal. Or the blank spot on the board without a title. Those three spots on the board are possibly Numb, Nobody's Listening and Lost in whatever order. Edit: And we don't know that Fighting Myself was in the final running for the album. That's pure speculation on your part.

Agreed. It wouldn't be the first time Linkin Park has made songs that sound similar.

I hope A Thousand Suns gets one but unless a potential Minutes to Midnight box set significantly over-performs I don't think we'll get one.

I would love it if LPU came back with the CDs. The "new" music we got from it every year was always a treat.

I wonder if any of the holdup over some of the other demos with Chester on them is with Chester's surviving family members. Not trying to say that in a negative way or anything just curious. At any rate I'm super excited to hear the rest of Lost demos even if I'm a little disappointed by the fact we've heard all of the songs with unheard Chester vocals already. I'm very interested to hear all these new Mike verses and having a song with him singing pre-MTM is always a treat.

Yeah it's been super fun. Felt a little like old times in the leadup to new Linkin Park material. Hopefully we're all back here together later this year to discuss new developments in the Linkin Park world.

If they played a Breaking The Habit demo we haven't heard before at the listening party why wouldn't you want it? It's not like it's on my wishlist but if it's out there and has been shared with the public I hope we get that released in some form instead of just being something that a handful of people got to listen to.

I hope the Don't Stay and BTH demos are on the QR code. I'm guessing they found them later in the process after things were already finalized or something. Although how cool would it be to start getting LPU CDs again?

I also don't really expect to get any more box sets after Minutes To Midnight. I could see 20th Anniversary deluxe editions with like a bonus CD of unreleased stuff for the later albums though.

Maybe instead of trying to aim for what would be successful they make the music they want to make. You know...the thing Linkin Park has been doing since the beginning.

I feel like that's kinda the opposite of how LP albums start. Papercut, Don't Stay, Given Up, Lost In The Echo and Keys to the Kingdom are all heavy, in-your-face type songs.

Could it just be the compression from over the air radio?

Yeah I really like Meteora as a half hour of power. A longer album wouldn't have had the same impact from start to finish.

I wonder if this is part of the reason they brought 15 songs for mixing. If Somewhere I Belong or From The Inside wasn't able to be finished would they have just used one of the others?

At this point I'm going to be more surprised if more than one or two tracks on Lost Demos don't have complete vocals. lol They've been holding these things back for something special.

Which two bands do you mean?

Fighting Myself is still my favorite of the four new songs we've heard. lol It is so nice to be listening to Healing Foot after two decades of listening to that short clip.
