  1. Good to see support from within the industry
  2. I wish I wasn't full-swing into school at the moment so I could start working on one.
  3. I feel like putting OML as a Chester tribute in every show would be a massive mood killer.
  4. A couple notes from watching videos: Points of Authority sounds really fresh with Mike singing the verses and Keys to the Kingdom translates really well to the stage.
  5. I don't think that's the actual setlist.
  6. I noticed the similarity in melody to Final Masquerade as well.
  7. Could this be a reworked version of an old demo?
  8. That would mean that I have to have the tiniest shred of self control when it comes to new Linkin Park music. As somebody who's listened to The Emptiness Machine on repeat since it dropped, that's not happening. lol
  9. BMTH released the first single from their newest album in September 2021. The album came out in May this year.
  10. It seems a little early to release another new song, but if it's tied to an event there's not a lot they can do about timing.
  11. I guess the band could put out a couple of demos that didn't make HT20 or Meteora 20.
  12. I'd like to see some more live debuts. Stuff from Living Things and The Hunting Party that were never played live would be cool to see - Powerless and Keys to the Kingdom would be especially cool.
  13. It sucks but I'm happy he's still contributing to the new music.
  14. Can't believe we're getting new LP music just a few days shy of my birthday. Happy freaking birthday to me!
  15. So, who wants to start the LP9 thread?
  16. I have no audio on the stream. Should I be hearing something?
  17. Wow, somebody dropped the fucking ball I guess. lol
  18. I'm very emotional right now. I'm feeling a lot of similar emotions to right before the Hollywood Bowl show. Joe's "I Wish You Were Here" post made me tear up.
  19. I dig the new logo.
  20. I recently watched a performance Weezer did for Spotify or something. They played a handful of songs and, between the songs, talked at length about each of them. It was kind of like a hybrid show/interview. I could see something like that happening.
  21. It's surreal reading a Linkin Park pre-show post in 2024 after all the community has been through. I can't wait to be here with you guys tomorrow.
  22. I like when bands have two lead vocalists and it would be a shame for Linkin Park to lose that element of their music.
  23. This was how blink-182 approached it when Matt Skiba was filling in for Tom Delonge. The first single (and most songs from that era, actually) featured both Matt and Mark Hoppus. You need something to anchor to the past of the band, while also showcasing what's different.
