  1. We have come to the Live Album elections! The first up is Live in Texas, Linkin Park's live album recorded over the two-day span of August 2-3, 2003 and released on my birthday, November 18, later that year. The rules of the election are the same as previous elections: - Vote for the track you like the least among the remaining tracks. - After 2-3 days, the track with the most votes will be eliminated. - At the end of the election, the top three tracks will advance to the Live Election Finals to be held at the end of the preliminary rounds. We will be using the DVD track lists of each live album. After Live in Texas is finished, we will move on to Road to Revolution, A Thousand Suns+, and possibly a Hybrid-Theory-era proshot concert. If anybody has suggestions for the Hybrid Theory proshot, feel free to post them below. Anyways, on to the election: 1. Don't Stay 2. Somewhere I Belong 3. Lying From You 4. Papercut 5. Points of Authority 6. Runaway 7. Faint 8. From the Inside 9. Figure.09 10. With You 11. By Myself 12. P5hng Me A*wy 13. Numb 14. Crawling 15. In the End 16. A Place For My Head 17. One Step Closer My vote goes to Somewhere I Belong. I've never really like that song too much and the version of it on here doesn't do it any favors. P.S.: I promise to stay on top of this better than I did the Remix Finals!
  2. I just hate the music videos. I love the music. In my opinion, LP has only put out one TOLERABLE music video and that's What I've Done.
  3. It's typically because most rappers don't have to worry about making the music. That's all handled by producers (though some rappers are producers as well). Though there are plenty of bands capable of recording albums a lot faster than Linkin Park (Green Day's Dookie was recorded in a few days for example). LP is just slow. lol
  4. Mike used to play a part of it after Numb. It's essentially the first verse being sung over the Numb piano outro. That's the version that's in my setlist.
  5. I think people dislike it because it's soft. I personally love it and it's my third favorite LP song.
  6. It's a secret show because we don't know where it is. Also, to everyone complaining about the Los Angeles location: LP is from California. It's only natural that they'd play more shows there.
  7. 1. Valentine's Day 2. Waiting For The End 3. Crawling 4. Easier to Run 5. The Radiance (new piano version) 6. Burning in the Skies 7. When They Come For Me 8. Numb 9. Just Like Heaven (The Cure cover) [interlude] 10. Breaking the Habit 11. Pushing Me Away 12. The Messenger 13. Hurt (Nine Inch Nails cover) 14. My December (piano version) 15. Iridescent I included a couple of covers since it's supposed to be a special performance. When They Come For Me was included because I could see them doing a really cool percussion-based version of that song. The songs broadcast for TV would be: 1. Waiting For the End 2. The Radiance (piano version) 3. Burning in the Skies 4. When They Come For Me 5. The Messenger 6. Iridescent I chose these since it's the ATS touring cycle. Edit: formatting
  8. Moscow intro is pretty cool. New Divide sounds better and better with time.
  9. Hybrid Theory: One Step Closer, A Place For My Head, and Cure For the Itch Meteora: Session, Breaking the Habit, and Figure.09 Minutes to Midnight: In Between, In Pieces, and Hands Held High A Thousand Suns: Waiting For the End, When They Come For Me, and Jornada del Muerto
  10. Hybrid Theory: By Myself, Crawling, and Papercut (hard choices for this one) Meteora: Hit the Floor, Somewhere I Belong, and Numb Minutes to Midnight: Given Up, Valentine's Day, and Shadow of the Day A Thousand Suns: Wisdom, Justice, and Love...and...and...I can't think of another one.
  11. I'll have to go with My December.
  12. I'm glad Rubin's producing again. He really brings out the best in the band in my opinion.
  13. That would be pretty cool and it sounds like it would work (at least in my head).
  14. I agree that the Moscow intro was probably made specifically for the Moscow show. However, I think that if they open with New Divide again, then they will probably use this intro.
  15. ^ That's what I dislike so much about Dead By Sunrise.
  16. P5hng Me A*Wy is the winner. The Remix Finals are over and now we'll have to decide what to do for the next election. Stay tuned.
  17. Sorry, forgot about it again... Jigga What/Faint is eliminated with 4 votes. The remaining tracks are: 1stp klsr p5hng me a*wy my vote goes to 1stp
  18. sounds interesting though saying it will "polarize people" is redundant by this point because their last two albums did that as well.
  19. Eh...it's alright. I like the Glitch Mob Remix of WFTE better, though.
  20. Chuck Motherf***in' D!! Edit: This is way better than the old version of the remix. Edit 2: The sample is actually from "Show 'Em What You Got" by Public Enemy. Jay-Z sampled the Public Enemy song. Edit 3: And apparently the Public Enemy song sampled a song called "Darkest Light" by Lafayette Afro Rock Band.
