There was a thread like this for A Thousand Suns so why not make one for the new record? My thoughts: 1. Burn It Down - already released as the first single 2. Powerless - being promoted with Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter so it would make sense. 3. In My Remains - a good intermediate single between the promotional tie-ins of Vampire Hunter and Medal of Honor 4. Castle of Glass - apparently will be the theme for the new Medal of Honor being released this October 5. I'll Be Gone - a good choice for a single and doesn't seem to fit elsewhere

In case anybody missed it: Powerless working title was tinfoil. That just lends more credence to Tinfoil being nothing more than an intro to Powerless.

What I've Done was MTM's first single, not fourth...unless I misunderstand what you're saying.

That was cool but I feel like it could have been a lot longer. I know that I'll probably end up editing the LPTV's in there somewhere to make it feel more complete.

You could've picked any song from Meteora (sans Session) and had it be a hit. That album was packed front-to-back with singles waiting to be single-ified...um yeah...

I made a Hip-Hop Medley 2.0 containing Fuse, Believe Me, and Hands Held High that turned out great.

It's currently LIVING THINGS but that could just be because it's fresh. I'll give it a month or two before I decide for sure.

I wonder if we'll be getting any exclusive music for the new game like Blackbirds for 8-bit Rebellion.

Burn It Down is the only track on the album that felt like a single to me. They're gonna have a heck of time selecting the next singles.

Rick didn't tell them not to make nu-metal or songs that sounded like Linkin Park. The band did that on their own. Rubin just suggested that they try different things to see what sounded best before deciding on a final direction for a song (like trying rapping over Hands Held High for example).

Don't worry. You're not alone there. Victimized, Roads Untraveled, Skin to Bone, and Until It Breaks are all tied for my favorite right now. The second half is amazing (then again, so is the first half). Lost in the Echo 9/10 In My Remains 8/10 Burn It Down 9/10 Lies Greed Misery 7/10 I'll Be Gone 7/10 Castle of Glass 9.5/10 Victimized 10/10 Roads Untraveled 10/10 Skin to Bone 10/10 Until It Breaks 10/10 Tinfoil 8/10 Powerless 7/10 Average: 8.7/10 Tracks 6-10 is the best stretch on any LP album in my opinion.

It may just be the fresh music talking but this is the greatest album I've ever heard.

Castle of Glass is probably my favorite of these snippets. The way Chester sounds on it is so freaking great.

If they do a Greatest Hits album, it would be cool to have them rerecord them in their current live renditions or something like that. Make it something special for the fans who already have all of the albums.

I'd like to see Wretches or WTCFM replace Runaway. Other than that, the set is perfect the way it is.

The Minutes to Midnight one had a making-of thing before the concert.
