  1. *chorus OSC was kinda funny, I guess it was Chester who failed or there were problems with his mic. It sucks that there will be no DSP for this show, would be interesting to hear if they'd fix it.
  2. I guess that's correct. I think Mike and Joe have one each, maybe Rob too? Thanks! I guess so
  3. So, not a lot of new gear for the Honda Civic Tour but I thought I'd post here anyway. Brad and Phoenix now use their pad controllers (Maschine Mikro and TriggerFinger) not only for Lies Greed Misery but also for Victimized and Lost in the Echo (Phoenix only). Joe seems to have an additional MIDI Fighter and I've also heard that Mike has a new guitar (not an expert on that topic, does anyone know about this?). Also, people have said that they've seen Microsoft Kinects on stage. I have absolutely no idea what these would be used for in a live band performance so I don't know if that's true.
  4. Nope, that's Dylan backstage who starts the backing track on a computer.
  5. This topic is AWESOME. Please continue, I'm not creative enough
  6. Europe tour in October? Julien-K will be in Europe too during that time. I wonder if we finally get them as support for LP? Wtf... Greece is not a third-world country. I'm pretty sure that there are people there who can afford to buy tickets for a Greece LP show.
  7. It's kind of stupid yes, but if we get LP samples or even multitracks this would be awesome. And it was cool to see Mike with a bass guitar!
  8. He began to use it on the ATS tour so I guess that would be the 07.09.2010 show.
  9. I think those synth loop tracks are part of the backing tracks, Joe only triggers the prominent melodies such as In The End, Numb or New Divide. That makes sense because LP has always worked with Pro Tools in studio although I've never heard of another act using it in a live environment. I guess they have 2 computers with Pro Tools running at the same time because sometimes the transitions between tracks were really short (for example when the In The End outro kind of transitioned into Bleed It Out if I remember correctly. +1. Thanks for all the information so far everyone.
  10. Those were M-Audio TriggerFingers and Akai MPD24s. I've never understood why he had so many of them. It would have been super easy to just change samples on the computer for the next song. It would be interesting to know what software he uses for that purpose. I don't think I have ever seen any LP member using Ableton so that would be something new. Does anyone know what they use for playing the backing tracks live and for the samples that Rob triggers on his pads?
  11. So yeah, I guess everyone's watching the stream right now but I just wanted to point out that for Lies Greed Misery Brad is using a Native Instruments Maschine throughout the whole song and Phoenix an M-Audio TriggerFinger for parts of the song.
  12. Mike definitely samples the ongoing synth loop during Runaway on the pads of his keyboard - I think they used to have a backing track for that part. Joe's new setup isn't completely different but there have been a few changes for sure. Here is a pic of his gear: http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/252/img1058dj.jpg/ He still uses a JazzMutant Lemur MIDI controller and the turntables are probably the same too. Not sure about the mixer but the MIDI Fighter on top of it is new. It's basically a MIDI controller with arcade buttons and it has replaced the 4 KORG nanoPADs. This is probably what he uses for the glitch part of Blackout and his part on WFTE. I don't know what the white and black box next to the MacBook is. It will be interesting to see what kind of gear they'll use for the new songs!
  13. Haha - i actually thought it was the actual version too until 2006 or something
  14. Buy the album, it comes with a booklet including the lyrics
  15. Haha great joke dude. These chats are usually pretty useless for information... I think I'm not even an LPU member anymore and I guess I won't join again until there will be another German summit. It's just not worth the money.
  16. That list is fucking awesome and ridiculous, thanks Astat. Ryan told me when I asked him about it at a Julien-K show but he didn't wanna tell me the reason... So I guess it's pretty private stuff.
  17. He used to be a friend of Julien-K/Chester and was even Orgy's "director of activities". If I remember correctly he even had his own TV show. But sometime in 2010/2011 something happened between him and the guys and now he doesn't hang around with them anymore.
  18. Elias said on Twitter that he won't be performing with the band. So will there be no drummer or will someone else perform? http://twitter.com/#!/EliasAndra/statu...457443420438528
  19. Cure For The Itch and Session were both written by Mike and the other two are more "full band"-tracks.
