I'm pretty sure that Mike said LOATR was put on MTM instead of the early version of Not Alone. He said that they felt it was more touching or something. Forgot the source though.
In my opinion the drum parts from 0:50-01:10 sound a lot like Sad from 0:47-01:06. Am I the only one who thinks so?
ree_ree needs contributor status asap. this guy is awesome! thank you so much!
When you click on "Buy Now", what's supposed to happen? In my case, it just redirects me to lpu.linkinpark.com, not logged in. Is that correct?
Oh well, then you're right. But I still say that Muse is a better live act than LP. Whatever.
WFTE performance was epic, thanks to the uploaders. Phoenix was wearing a MFR bandana
... in your opinion.
Well, I can't judge it, I was only assuming it from your post.
Yes, it is. But not for current LPU members if it's a LPU event.
I think we should. It's related to the topic.
Well, your post just sounds like you'd complain if it wasn't in London (or the UK).
Once again, my "complaining" wasn't about that I couldn't make it to London, read my posts again. And yes, they have given every LPU member the chance to go - but seriously, $40 for LPU9 (or in other words: current LPU) members??!
No problem dude!
Lulz. Seriously, I don't complain because it's too expensive for me. I'm talking about serious arguements here. I've always heard people saying that the US is LP's country no.1, then Japan, then Germany. Well, whatever.
That's the exact thing I'm accused of. "It's in my country, it's awesome!" "It's not in my country, it sucks!"
Really AWESOME idea, but in the UK? Not wanting to sound like a a German idiot here who thinks that his country is the best but Berlin would have been a far better location. More people from east and western Europe could reach it and I think that there are more LP fans in GER than in the UK (correct me if I'm wrong). Personally, it's just too expensive for me.
Isn't that a double bass on The Catalyst?
He also uses it for When They Come For Me. Didn't know it would be possible to also control the filters through the theremin.
I was never able to tell apart what Brad is playing on the guitar and Joe is playing with his Lemur during the solo. A guitar cover (or a tab) would be cool
-Also, it seems like they go with a backing track for the vocals on The Requiem now.
Btw, does anyone know what song Joe uses his Kaossilator for?
So Chester said he'd like to do ATS full and 8-9 hits as the encore. For South America they'll probably play the NYC set plus WTCFME and a few oldies. For Europa it may look like this:
1. The Requiem/The Radiance
2. Burning In The Skies
3. Empy Spaces/When They Come For Me
4. Robot Boy
5. Jornada Del Muerto
6. Waiting For The End
7. Blackout
8. Wretches And Kings
9. Wisdom, Justice, And Love/Iridescent
10. Fallout
11. The Catalyst
12. The Messenger
------------------------------
13. New Divide (extended intro)
14. Faint (extended outro)
15. Given Up (long outro)
16. What I've Done
17. Numb (piano transition into...)
18. Breaking The Habit (a capella outro)
19. In The End
20. Bleed It Out (extended)
21. One Step Closer (extended outro)
I'm guessing that for 2011, they'll mix the set up a little bit. Bring back a fan favorite via poll, add a few hits, cut a few ATS songs, close with The Catalyst or maybe Wretches And Kings (I think it'd work out pretty well).
But he only uses it to control his synthesizer, it would've been cool if he really played it.
Btw, there's a second keyboard on stage. Does anyone know who played it on which song? Pics:

Oh my fucking god. What the hell is going on in here?? The reason why most of the people from the Hamburg listening party didn't hear it is because I asked Mike when he signed my CDs, believe me or not.
This. He said that they would play longer setlists but they're starting with a shorter one. For example, imagine a 25 song setlist for the next year, compared to that a 19-21 song setlist for the promo shows would be short. It's not like he said that they'll do a shorter set than last year or something.
