  2. That's not at all what they're saying. That just means they're prioritizing composing the keyboards, samples, and drums over guitar. Unless of course you're being sarcastic.
  3. I really like the apparent direction of this album so far.
  4. Linkin Park makes up crap all the time, intentionally or unintentionally. I think it's established that we have to take everything they say with a grain of salt.
  5. I'd always thought that was just a sample of wind. I know exactly what you're talking about. That's interesting.
  6. I don't know if I'm misunderstanding or not, but the "ticking" set of samples has the prechorus scratch, not the droning sound at the end of side A. I don't quite know where that sample would even appear as a scratch in the song to be honest; it's very similar to A Place for My Head and no scratches in ETR really sound like the ones in APFMH. Any clarification would shed some light for me. Also, it's interesting to note that one of those Hit the Floor scratch samples is the same one used in both The Catalyst and Nobody's Listening.
  7. That makes a lot more sense. The scratches in the verse have a very distorted sound and don't sound like the bridge scratches.
  8. Aoki's style isn't really as "dance-y" in my opinion, more just a pulsing rhythm that drives the song. I like songs like Darker than Blood when I just want to listen to more toned-down dance music. Although that all seems very contradictory.
  9. We still don't know where the By Myself sample is in Hit the Floor, if it is in the song to begin with. Even if it's unlikely, it's still possible that the sample loop is thrown in there and has nothing to do with the song. We can't know for sure until we can pinpoint its placement (or lack thereof). Someone can correct me on this if I'm wrong, but Breaking the Habit doesn't really sample Points of Authority because I think that sample comes from a source outside of Linkin Park. If that's the case, that'd be like me saying Cure for the Itch samples Michael Jackson's HIStory because they both use the sample from Change the Beat. There's not enough information to safely say any of those things except maybe that From the Inside samples One Step Closer. That one is pretty straightforward.
  10. OMFG YES. Call me a Meteora nu metal fanboy all you want...I've been waiting for this moment.
  11. I was gonna say if we confirmed that Mellow Interlude and Be Yourself are indeed the same, it would squash the "Be Yourself is Pictureboard" argument...but I have a feeling that would continue anyway since it doesn't make sense as is.
  12. LINCOLN PARK INSPIRED RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE. I knew it! It's all a conspiracy! Lincoln Park is responsible for every hit song from 1997 to now!
  13. I agree with the Soul for once.
  14. #in Sign me up, I'll bribe who I need to bribe.

  16. We all though wrong. All hail our lord UltraLinkinPark, secretly Mike Shinoda.
  17. I admit the first time was hilarious, but you're using the same exact joke over and over and it has lost any hint of humor.
  18. Wow, totally took my idea Broman. You're despicable. Good job.
  19. And Paige got a video too. Nobody cares about Daron lol.
