Do you think there will be a third tour this summer? It could be like what LP did on the MTM touring cycle. Summer tour in 2007, winter tour in 2008 and then summer tour in 2008. I think this will probably be the final tour in the US for THP aside from a few off shows because they still haven't played in Asia, Australia/New Zealand, etc.

Is it just me or does it seem like no one is going to this tour? Usually you will see a lot more hype and a lot of hardcore LP fans talking about the upcoming shows, etc. It seems like a lot of the hardcore fans won't be able to make it to this tour because of the locations that LP chose. I will admit, the cities on this tour are a bit weird for a band of LP's nature, naturally I would assume they would be playing places like Boston, Madison Square Garden, Staples Center, etc. The band seems to be pretty excited for this tour, well at least Mike seems to be. I can't wait for it... I actually love the opening bands and LP is rumored to be adding a new song from THP to the set.

Yeah, it reminds me a lot of 'In Between' as well. It definitely sounds a lot more MTMish instead of ATSish. But it's probably my least favorite out of the 4 songs with vocals, honestly. 'Devil's Drop' is also pretty good, but not my favorite, I have to be in the right mood to listen to it. I like 'White Noise' a lot still, it's a solid song. 'It Goes Through' is just plain awesome, I really like that song a lot. 'Dancer' and 'Mal Rx7' just sound like the rest of the regular score to me, they don't really sound like songs, different from the rest of the score, like the other 4 do.

Ok, changed my post.

01. 2003. 02. I saw the SIB video on Fuse and then bought Meteora. 03. I have most of the band's official releases in physical format. I am missing singles and a few other things but not too much. 04. My favorite album is MTM. My favorite show...that is a tough one. Maybe SSMF in 2013 because it was just a magical show. 05. WID. 06. LOATR because I have done bad things in my life and have been an asshole to a lot of people who didn't deserve it. POWERLESS because it related to me perfectly when I broke up with my ex in 2012. She was a drug addict and I watched her crumble apart from the beginning and I went along for the ride and I was so weak by the end of it after everything I went through that I felt powerless. 07. Chester.

I still have no idea what Level 7 is/was. It's all so confusing to me. Care to dumb it down?

I would say that is highly unlikely given that we don't know for sure that they are LP demos and Mike and Chester probably don't even remember what demos they were from and they probably don't even remember this project at all. If I had to guess, if they are in fact old LP demos, they're probably from the Meteora era which is the most obvious guess. Either that or they just messed around to come up with some shit for the track on the spot in 2004 when the album was released.
-
I would say maybe they will tour on THP until the end of 2015, write a new record in 2016 and maybe play a few shows here and there, and then record and release a new album in 2017, probably around Summer. If I had to guess.

High Rise is much better.

Ahh. Thanks. I knew that name sounded familiar. I bet that Mike and Chester's parts must have either come from an old LP demo or maybe they just made it up on the spot. What makes me think that is because there parts sound nothing alike and they don't mesh with the rest of the song.
-
I'm kind of suspicious about this since LP was banned in China and also because the add for the concert features a pic from the Minutes To Midnight era. That doesn't really mean anything, though. If this date is confirmed or turns out to be true, I'm surprised that LP will be touring that late into 2015, maybe another US tour next summer is a possibility then.

In the CD insert for ''White People'' by Handsome Boy Modeling School, it says the vocals from Mike and Chester were recorded at ''The Stockroom''. Anyone know what else LP has recorded there? Trying to get an idea of maybe when their parts in the track they contributed were written.

A Thousand Suns: The Full Experience - Visual Album
Geki replied to martinez's topic in Everything Linkin Park
This is cool but isn't this technically ''official material''? I got banned once for posting a YouTube link for ''Inside Living Things'' so... -
KEYS! It's so heavy and in your face that it would be great for a live setting. Ditch Given Up and replace it with Keys and you're done.
-
No, you didn't ruin anything. I was just wondering if these were like ''demo'' versions or something of the songs.

IMO, OSC was the best show opener that I have ever seen. It got the crowd JUMPING and going crazy, I remember that during the MTM tour. GATS is a good opener, definitely, you can feel the energy as soon as it starts in your body. However, OSC is extremely well known and GATS is not, that's the difference of people going crazy or not...

How does this constitute as a ''new'' Linkin Park track?
-
They aren't ever going to give us epic stuff like NRL Chester version or stuff like My December Team Sleep Remix, etc. Pictureboard will never come out. The thoughts that take away my pride demo will probably never make a LPU release.
-
How can someone say that they think the shortened version is ''better''? Noooo. The shortened shit makes LP look like Justin Beiber or some type of pop band or something. Real rock and metal bands play the entire song.
-
NMS, BTH and SOTD. All great songs that should never have left the set in the first place.
-
Yup. I am like 100% positive that Homecoming had vocals, it sounds waayyyyyy too primed for them, even if they were just donna vocals.

2014.12.13 - Inglewood, CA - KROQ AAC (+ Webcast)

Wow, awesome!!! Thank you very much. -
Dancer didn't have vocals on the OST, only during the credits of the film. I also agree about 'The Last Line'. I think Chester and Mike both would have sounded great on that song together, kind of like what they did on 'In Between' from Minutes To Midnight. Come to think of it, those two songs actually sound A LOT alike. As far as 'It Goes Through' goes, I love that song and I think Mike did a great job on that track. That song is one of those songs that doesn't need Chester to sing on it because it definitely suits Mike's voice a lot more, IMO. I'm also sure there were scat vocals on Mal Rx7 before at some point, look at Dancer for an example. Ever since they started working with Rick Rubin back in 2006, they have been putting vocals on their demos right away, something that they didn't do on the first two records, according to what Chester said in the Making Of MTM.

Damn... I was hoping for a CD/DVD pack like Live In Texas and Road To Revolution. Muse just put out a live CD/DVD last year and it was awesome, I think it was shot in the same quality as the Berlin show if I'm not mistaken. But on a side note, I'd rather have the ''+'' releases like that over the stupid digital only live EP's which is just retarded IMO. Why release something only digitally and include like 6 tracks and make it only for iTunes? I think the Download Festival digital album was shitty too because it was digital only and it wasn't even the full show.

Isn't it weird that STPWCB won't play any songs from the self titled album?
