  1. Pretty cool. I pre-ordered the CD but don't think it's come in the mail yet (my mailbox is way at the end of another road close to me, I live in a weird spot) so I didn't check the past 2 days. I know they shipped. I'll probably just wait til Friday to listen. LOATR is promising.

Yeah, man, we should be thankful... I remember reading a ton of interviews with Chester saying he was suicidal and what not in 2004, 2005, 2006. He also said 2005 was the worst he ever got with his drinking, so much that he couldn't even leave the house. And in 2006, he started doing drugs again, as well as drinking. He says that in Inked Magazine from 2008. He met Talinda through Ryan and Amir and he ended up marrying her and eventually, Talinda called everyone in Linkin Park (probably mid 2006 I would assume, maybe June, and also possibly ever ''Chester left the house with a gun after drinking heavily'' as Talinda told police. Chester said everyone in Linkin Park told him how much they loved him and he ended up getting help and overcame his addictions. As far as I know, he was clean up until late 2015, as he also said in an interview for OML. I have all of these interviews where Chester flat out talks about all of this stuff, so I don't think it's wrong to talk about. I do think TMZ was fucked up for releasing his autopsy, but we all know that Chester struggled with addiction and suicidal thoughts for many years, etc., he always talked about it all. I'm happy Ryan and Amir were there for him, as well as a LP and Talinda. But as we know, the demons eventually took over.... so sad to think. And that's awesome. Can't wait to hear Time Capsule..... finally. Gonna be epic.

Still not out yet, so nowhere at the moment. He is also heard on the demo ''Shaking'' from the DTA era. Keep in mind that these pictures of Chester hanging out could have literally just been him hanging out. He literally lived in Ryan’s house where Julien-K writes and records all their music, he lived there for like a year back in 2005 and shit. Ryan said he also taught him how to sing and he also helped with some of the songs on DTA back in 2004-2006. He probably sang them all at one point. Don’t forget that Chester was also the executive producer for DTA. He was an important part of Julien-K from like 2004-2007.
  4. I wish they would release a live compilation like ''One More Light - Live Around The World'' or something, just the 8 songs they played from the album, with proper in and out fading, etc. like they did for the first 4 albums on iTunes, etc. Sometimes I like to listen to live stuff but only from the specific era. I suppose they could just use the 8 songs from this live album and do it but I hate when live tracks don't fade in and out. Interesting... I'd probably say these: 01. Crawling 02. Breaking The Habit 03. Leave Out All The Rest 04. The Messenger 05. Nobody Can Save Me He said Crawling and BTH were both very personal to him in terms of lyrics and his earlier years. LOATR because of the lyrics in that song, he also said he loved that song during the Impericon 2017 interview. The Messenger he said he wrote for his kids, who we know he loved very much, and I think NCSM because Mike said that Chester really related well to Jon Green when writing the song, plus the lyrics kind of apply.
  5. LOL WTF did I just watch. But I vaguely remember that. Interesting. Weren't a few other songs listed at one point too? I think in 2016, a song called ''Ricochet'' or something was listed. Either way, I don't think LFAA will become a Fort Minor song, but it's possible, since Welcome was originally a Linkin Park demo. But I'm also not sure if it will be under the ''Linkin Park'' moniker, either. Mike said the version he played live was basically a rough demo, so maybe it will be changed up a lot, etc.

Yeah, I remember seeing photos from it or maybe video like you said. I don't think it's LPTV, although there was an LPTV episode from 2009 where Chester plays Let Down for Ryan, this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IfaliKQKkQ4 But that clearly isn't from 2005. The picture shown in that collage is 100% from 2005 and is likely them rehearsing it for REact Now.
  7. Was there some kind of interview where the band discussed why they had so many interludes on ATS? I think there was one where they explained them. I'm not saying I hate the interludes, I just was interested in that interview. If you think about it, ATS really only has 9 songs. Lol. OML had one more than that.
  8. Yeah, Wu-Tang would have been so epic to see. I like Blink a lot, the first CD that I literally ever bought was Enema Of The State. But I like a lot of their songs from all albums. It would have been a great show. That's so awesome that you saw Rage Against The Machine back in the day, wow. Funny as hell about Method Man, too.

I probably am but I usually never check my email and I have so many spam emails that I don't even bother to sift through it. Plus I like the discussion on it with fans.
  10. My Blinkin' Park ticket. I was so looking forward to the show.

Sweet, thanks for posting. So we should be getting it this month. I hope my package comes in the mail this month, at least. Badass pic of Chester and Amir there, too, looks like from maybe 2005? Probably rehearsals for Let Down on REAct Now 2005 or maybe some Snow White Tan recording sessions. But can't wait to hear some sick Julien-K stuff.
  12. I didn't want to post too much about it, but you're 100% right. Talinda said he left the house after heavily drinking in 2006 with a gun, etc. And Chester did MANY interviews around the time that DBS came out citing that he was suicidal in 2005 and 2006, etc. I found one DBS interview where he literally said ''I wanted to kill myself''... He wasn't shy about it. Chester was always upfront. He let his fans and the world know that he had problems. But like LP once said, the demons are what attracted people, it was always in the cards. It's sad but I think a lot of the most influential voices of our musical generations always have had issues. Pain can be beautiful in ways and Chester was no exception of that. I remember in the From The Inside book, he said that writing lyrics that can relate to people from his own experiences was rewarding, or something like that. Well, Chester surely accomplished that goal, because he has helped millions of us. R.I.P. Chester. It gets me so emotional and depressed talking about our hero but at the same time, I feel like he would want us to remember him for helping us, etc, because he went through some problems, too, and he loved all of us, that's one thing you can say about Chester, is that he did love the fans a lot.
  13. I think OML Live will still do fairly well, I would imagine. It might not hit #1, but it's hard to compete with some of those artists, especially Eminem. I think the LOATR 2017 version alone is grammy worthy (semi-kidding), but cmon, that song has so much meaning now, it's spoken to me more than any other song since July 20th because of the lyrics in the chorus. Gavin Rossdale even spoke about it recently in the press, saying it was really hard for him to sing the song because the lyrics relate so much to what happened with Chester. The ''don't resent me, and when you're feeling empty, keep me in your memory'' part in specific, IMO. Also the line ''pretending someone else can come and save me from myself'' is so haunting now. That song and BTH get to me the most now out of all. OML Live has a bunch of good songs, though.

Any updates on it shipping or anything?
  16. A deluxe edition of OML with the b-sides that we know are complete, maybe a making of DVD, that could possibly beat Eminem’s new album. But even then, idk, this is Eminem we are talking about here.
  17. Yeah, that's pretty cool.
  18. I know that sales are what determine a #1 album in the charts, but I fail to see how a live album could ever be a #1 album over an actual album, like a non-live album. Live music is just way different to me, like live albums should compete against other live albums.
  19. When was the last time that the song was performed as it appears on the album?
  20. Awesome. Can't wait to have the full show someday.
  21. I love No Sun Today era Grey Daze. I don't even listen to Wake Me, like ever, I find it to be very inferior to No Sun Today. And I like how they re-did a few songs off of Wake Me for No Sun Today. My question is... we have received several videos from a 1997 show now that are proshot, do we have the full show? I hope it will become available someday, a full No Sun Today show in split mp3.
  22. I have read several interviews online where they said the album was 100% done in 2005. Chester said they decided to wait to release it because Linkin Park started working on MTM. After PR08 was done, ending the MTM album cycle, he said he started working on the album again and had a bunch of new songs. In one of the making of DBS videos, he said half of the record was written post MTM. I agree with you so 150%. I'd love to hear the original version of the album, the original versions of the songs.I don't care if it's raw or whatever, it would be amazing to hear... BTW, you can tell it's definitely ''HARD LIFE'' and not ''HOLD LIFE'' on that demo board photo. Hold Life doesn't even make any sense and you can tell it says Hard Life anyways, the A and R are very prominent. It also says 20 OO's ,like a play on ''20 Eyes''. It's not ''20¥2''. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ub2B1skFgsYCheck out this video. Has a lot of great shit, the demo board, etc
  23. Even if they don't want to give us b-sides or demos, they still have a shit ton of live content they could release. They released 2 songs from that Steve Wyrick set in 2009. Imagine how epic it would be to get Walking In Circles, In The Darkness, etc. from that set??? Fans used to ask for that all the time back in 2009 and 2010. They also released Let Down from Almost Acoustic Christmas officially on iTunes back in 2009, so they have that set, and it would be much better quality than the shitty webcast audio. They also released Fire and Let Down from Hamburg 2009, which is a full set DBS show, that would be amazing to have. They may even have more live shit.
  24. I honestly only really visit Facebook, YouTube and Google, as well as LPLive. Of course I'll google stuff and come across various sites, etc. but those are my primary websites that I visit on a daily basis. It will suck for LPLive, but the others that I mentioned will likely be fine. I think it's a little bit overhyped - people are acting like it's the end of the internet as we know it, but the huge sites will likely be ok. However, this is a huge issue, IMO. I don't want the U.S. to lose net neutrality. I don't want to get political. But yeah. And No More Sorrow is actually quite fitting. It's crazy how much songs off of MTM actually relate quite well to the current state of things, both politically and emotionally, the emotional part being for myself.
  25. Wow, didn't even know it was on there! Thank you so much!!! EDIT: So we know Hold Life had vocals as well... whether it was a demo title for a song on Out Of Ashes or a song that didn't make the cut, that remains to be seen. I could see it being a possible demo title for Crawl Back In, but I'm not sure. I guess maybe End Of The World too, since it was a song talked about as far back as 2005. Wall Of Sound, Instrumental and Introutro didn't have vocals, but that's kind of obvious that they wouldn't have judging by the titles. So we have 7 known songs that didn't make the cut as of right now, and there might not be any more, because it wasn't written like a Linkin Park album that has like 100 demos each time. 01. Split Personality 02. Evil Twin 03. 20 Eyes 04. Hold Life 05. Wall Of Sound 06. Instrumental 07. Introutro I'd love to be able to hear all of those, but like I said, I don't have high hopes of any of them ever being released, but you never know, crazier things have happened.
