  1. I ripped Sharp Edges from Birmingham and listen to it all the time. Chester sang it differently than he did at any other show. It sounded flawless. It's by far my favorite performance of Sharp Edges, I've listened to every performance of it, and Birmingham is the best. But yeah, they should have had more from Birmingham. Chester's final show is something special. Even if it was the worst show of their career (which it wasn't at all), it would still be special by default. They should have released a DSP of the entire Birmingham show for free. It's not being unreasonable. It's not like I'm saying they should give us all 150 MTM demos or something. They released Moscow 2011 DSP for free in the past. I think it would be cool for them to give us, as like an extra, maybe count it as LPU17?
  2. DTA is just a masterpiece to me. I love every track. I love the lyrics, the music, everything. It's weird because it's the only album I like by Julien-K and yet I love it.
  3. Yeah, Mike recently did say they had plans to tour for OML well into 2018 anyways but it was expected. They probably could play stuff like Download again but they would for sure have to get a new vocalist... I don't think anyone at a hard rock/metal festival wants to hear Mike Shinoda sing the extremely slow songs he did at Hollywood Bowl. LOL. People want to hear Hybrid Theory, Meteora and a few other hard rock songs from other albums, like BIO, you know how those types of crowds can be. EDIT: Sorry, I'm a mess. I just can't deal with the loss of Chester. I misread wesley's original post. I took it as a rumor that they'd be playing Download 2018, not that they were supposed to have been playing it. Whenever the future without Chester comes up, I get defensive immediately and I need to learn to cope with it. I don't want to come across as dick about the rest of the band and stuff, deep down. I know they will continue and probably replace Chester. I just need to learn how to cope with that in my head. It's been really hard for me.
  4. How are they going to play a hard rock and metal festival without Chester Bennington? There is no Linkin Park without Chester Bennington, but even if they tried, they'd FOR SURE have to get a new vocalist by then, one who can scream heavily.
  5. See, my first show was in 2007 right before MTM dropped, so that could be why I love that album and era so much.
  6. I've grown to really love RTR. I was at a friend's house earlier this year and we watched the DVD, I hadn't watched it in quite some time at that point. I dig it. I have it on CD, DVD, Vinyl and Blu-Ray. I do wish that they kept RME in the set, but fuck it, there is already a good quality recording of it on LPU6. It captures the early years of the band very well, IMO (at this point I consider MTM early LP). It has a good mix of HT, Meteora, MTM and a few others (Krwlng intro, Collision Course). But yeah, OML Live is not bad at all, I like it. It's nice to have a proper live album after all this time, especially since we stopped getting DSP's like 5 damn years ago at this point. I don't consider Madrid 2010, Berlin 2012 or Mexico 2012 as official live albums like LIT, RTR and OML Live. I bet this CD is really amazing for people who were at the shows... it's a nice way to remember it, kind of like having a DSP for a show you went to or something. It was also Chester's final tour with LP, so it's special. I don't really care about how a crowd is when I'm listening to a live show or watching a live show. It matters if you're actually at the show but I actually prefer shows where the crowd was more tame when I'm at home listening and watching. I find it annoying when I hear the crowd more than the band, unless I'm at the show.
  7. True, I feel like there is one like that for each main album except for maybe THP. APFMH, Figure.09, NMS, WTCFM, Powerless, Sorry For Now.
  8. No problem. Everyone on this site seems to love APFMH. I personally don't even care that much for it, but I'm glad I could help. There are tons of pro-shot videos of it, all the way from 2000 to 2017.
  9. Yeah, I prefer LIT and RTR but this album isn't bad either, it's good to have.
  10. Does the album seem to have somewhat low volume compared to Live In Texas or Road To Revolution? I've been playing all 3 CD's in my car this week and I have to turn the volume up higher for the One More Light Live CD. Maybe it was just mixed lower than the others.
  11. My favorite 5. Ozzfest 2001 Pro-Shot Rock AM Ring 2004 Pro-Shot Detroit 2003 Pro-Shot Camden 2004 Pro-Shot Madison Square Garden 2008 Not Pro-Shot but has SBD Quality Audio
  12. I have an issue every time that I try and buy something in the LPU store. I am a member. I log in, and it works fine. I then go to the store. I try and buy an item by hitting add to cart, and then it wants me to log in again. If I do, it re-directs me to the main page. How can I purchase stuff in the store? There are items I really want....... This thread can be deleted, sorry. I was able to buy them now. Must have been my phone.
  13. Birmingham had a lot of weird moments. He sang some songs differently than at other shows. But I doubt he had in mind ''this is my last show''. Mike and the band said he seemed happy on the tour and was looking forward to the U.S. tour and the shows with Blink-182, etc. I just have a gut feeling that something bad happened between when the tour ended and July 20th. Idk. But yeah, Birmingham is hard to watch and listen to for me, but I still want to have it in my digital collection, because it was his last show. This last Europe tour was good. He had good energy, the most I've seen since like 2012 maybe. THP cycle he didn't have this energy. He was good on the 2017 tour. Just sucks so much.
  14. It's so sad to see Chester seem so happy at all these shows. He even seemed happy at the last show in Birmingham. Something bad must have happened in his life between July 7th and July 20th. I can't believe he did it, still. I love watching these videos from the tour but it's so sad.
  15. I'll download it now. This is good. I think this can be a cool project if we all post about what we think is the best stuff. The final product will probably be badass. Hahninator, what else do you like besides Let Down 2005 and Sex Type Thing? Maybe we should make the whole thing 50 tracks. That way we can include most of it.
  16. Thanks man. I agree with everything you said. I did edit my list a bit from my OP because I tweaked it up more. Grey Daze had some really good songs. I chose Morei Sky and Soul Song because they both were so emotional and strong vocally for me. Really good tracks. I chose the acoustic live versions of Let Down and Morning After because I felt like they are better than OOA. I would have chose that for Walking In Circles as well but it was never released, so I just chose the studio version. It's too good of a song to not be on there. Those are the best DBS songs, IMO. I might throw In The Darkness on there, too, or Give Me Your Name, but probably just those 3. I also think those are all great LP performances. I tried to choose a mix of live and studio. Some are good live, like Given Up, but it can't compete with the studio version. I put all of his epic screams on there - Qwerty, Given Up, Faint, Keys To The Kingdom, APFMH. I also chose a lot of beautiful singing moments, like My December and PMA piano live versions, as well as BTH from Toronto 2008, which was also piano version, very beautiful.
  17. Both albums were essentially made around the same time, and all essentially by the same group of people, since Chester worked on a lot of the Death To Analog stuff with Julien-K and he was also the executive producer of the album. So my question is.... which one do you prefer? I prefer both. I used to play DTA often when it came out but Ive been playing it more in recent years. I love the entire album. I even had Julien-K sign the album for me when I met them on tour. I also saw Julien-K on PR07 three times and it was epic, during the DTA era. Remember Chester doing Technical Difficulties? Or when he sang the whole set at the Chicago date of the tour? So good. OOA of course I love too. I just wish it came out sooner than when it did.

    20 Eyes

Dead By Sunrise recorded 20 Eyes in the studio during the Out Of Ashes sessions with Howard Benson. Chester literally thought they had released it as a bonus track, just like they did with Morning After, when Hahninator asked him on Loveline in 2009, prompting Amir to say ''Uhh.. we never actually released that track Chester''. And Chester was like ''wait what? We didn't?''. So it exists as an unreleased track from Out Of Ashes. It isn't some random 2005 demo. It was literally recorded along with the 13 tracks released as Out Of Ashes. There has to be a way we can get them to give us it. It should be easier to acquire than any demo, etc.
  19. I know... only in my dreams (as it says in My Suffering). EDIT: I did want to clarify, because I may have come across wrong in my OP. I don't hate Out Of Ashes. I still love it. But I just think the 2005 stuff would have blown it away completely.
  20. I just want everything DBS. All the demos, 20 Eyes (studio version), the Steve Wyrick set, I wish Ryan would give us it all.... DBS was always one of my obsessions like MTM, as everyone knows.
  21. I feel like Chester wasnt 100% comfortable with DBS. That could be why he didnt release it in 2005 or 2006 despite himself saying he would back then. They even played Let Down on a television show in 2005, the album was 100% done by the end of 2005. I think he started working on new Linkin Park in January of 2006, when they started working on the new album according to the band, and he just decided to not release his solo album. He also was working with Julien-K writing Death To Analog and I think he really liked those songs. He seemed confident in those and played them live with them, etc. He brought them on tour with LP in 2007, etc. He got done touring for LP in August 2008 and then wrote new music for the DBS album. He changed a lot of the songs. And it didnt end up coming out until late 2009. And when it didnt do well in the charts or with ticket sales at shows, he questioned it on Twitter, saying he must have made a bad album, etc. I think his faith wasnt completely in it from the start. He probably should have just not released it. Another thing to think about is STP. He joined STP in 2013 and put out an EP with them right away in 2013. He also toured a lot with them, much more than with DBS. Another thing to think about is the fact that he was really proud of OML. He wanted to share it with the world. And when it didnt get complete positive reviews, he got pissed, because he was confident in it. It was unlike his reaction with DBS, he didnt question within himself whether or not OML was a bad album. He also basically never mentioned DBS again once he was done with the small touring for the album. Just to me, he didnt seem like he was ever fully confident in it.
  22. My list. And I love how it ends with Primo. You could switch it up any way you like, but Primo should be the final track, IMO. A flawless performance from Chester on that track and the lyrics are so powerful now with the whole ''Just carry on and miss me when I'm gone, Don't let anyone take my place, Take my place...'' Also the line of ''Tell them I couldn't help myself, and tell them I was alone''. Pretty haunting shit but so relevant... 01. Let Down (Vegas 2009 Acoustic Version) 02. Morning After (Vegas 2009 Acoustic Version) 03. Walking In Circles (Studio Version) 04. One Step Closer (Auburn 2007) 05. Crawling (One More Light Live Version) 06. A Place For My Head (Rock AM Ring 2004) 07. Lying From You (Studio Version) 08. Faint (Rock AM Ring 2007) 09. Breaking The Habit (Edgefest Live Piano Version 2008 (Toronto)) 10. 23. Found one of the pics from my old computer. But I know there were more and better ones, showing his broken hand and shit. BTW he had that broken hand in late August 2005, so the pics were likely from late August 2005 into September 2005, right in time for REAct Now since it took place September 10th. So they were more than likely rehearsal photos for Let Down 2005. Also, an audio clip of Chester talking about why he had the cast back in 2005. Lol. 04-17-2012 Loveline.mp3
  24. Yeah, I really like that show, and it was good quality. It's my favorite performance of Good Goodbye out of all that I've heard, and I think I've heard every performance of it listening to YouTube rips for hours. The one on the CD is good because it has Stormzy and is fixed up well, but I still prefer the Monza version. I also like Heavy without Kiiara. Just not a fan of guests on Linkin Park's main albums. I also prefer Rebellion live without Daron.
  25. I mean, I listen to literally everything Chester has ever recorded from 1993-2017 as a means of honoring Chester. All studio, all live, all guest spots, everything. There are definitely MUCH better live releases compared to this album, I think both Live In Texas and Road To Revolution blow this album away. But for the fans who really loved the newer years of the band and not so much the older years, I think this release is decent. It does have some things that really irritate me, mostly the NCSM mistakes, because I've been listening to a rip I have from Krakow for months and they should have just used that version because it's flawless. I also don't get why they only included 16 tracks when they had time for more and it would still be under 80 mins. Wastelands, The Catalyst, OSC, APFMH, COG, Faint, a lot of heavier tracks were left off, and I'm not sure if that's because they didn't think they fit with the idea of OML, or because Brad doesn't really like the old school stuff, idk. I kind of wish Mike had overseen the entire thing. I know it's hard for Mike to listen to Chester, but with something important like this, I just wish Mike had overseen it. It's not a bad release, I'm happy we have HQ versions of some of the songs here, like the RU intro, LOATR (2017 Version), and I actually somewhat like the version of Good Goodbye on here, even though I love the Milano version more. I actually make my own live versions of the albums, and I think my OML live version is flawless. The only thing I used from this album for it was Heavy.
