I wish we could get some of these Reanimation remixes on a LPU CD. Technically they are demos, so it would fit. I want My December (Team Sleep Remix) and Wth>You (with Ryu verses). Maybe some others would be cool as well. I wonder how many nu-metal bands from that time period submitted remixes.

I have another question as well, has anyone ever figured out what show this is from? Faint Single - Lying From You (LP Underground Tour 2003 - unknown show) I know it was easy to recently discover what show My December from Songs Of The Underground was, but that was because we had all the DSP's for the tour. I do realize that it would be very hard to almost impossible to find out which show this LFY is from, but maybe someone has?

Back in 2006, LPA posted the version of Qwerty (Live) from LPU6 months before LPU6 came out. However, there was more talking after the song ended, which was cut from LPU6. Anyone know how LPA got this rip? Where did it come from? I remember back in 2006 people were saying that Mike posted it anonymously, but I could be wrong.

I wish we could figure out what era all the demos from Stagelight are from...

I'm guilty of liking ''Under Attack'' back in like 2003, I used to play that in my headphones and walkman all the time.

I don't understand why the fuck people want covers. We already have covers of Wish by NIN, My Own Summer by Deftones, Rolling In The Deep by Adele and more by LP. And then with Chester, you have TONS of covers, from Bucket Of Weenies show to Camp Freddy shows, to off performances. So many songs. What songs do you want the band to cover?
-
Why isn't the lprocks source for Bucket Of Weenies 2006 listed here??

You guys really don't like LIVING THINGS? I absolutely love the album to be honest. I still listen to it almost everyday and I rarely skip songs. Maybe you guys are just growing old of LP?
-
It sucks but if they don't play any new LT songs this summer, I think all hope is lost for us to ever hear them live..

Just so you guys now, the sunset strip music festival site has been updated with an article from Chester. It clears up the whole 1998/Mike situation from earlier in this thread.. LINKIN PARK TO HEADLINE 2013 SUNSET STRIP MUSIC FESTIVAL – TICKETS ON SALE NOW! The sixth annual Sunset Strip Music Festival (SSMF) will be headlined by LINKIN PARK at the Saturday, August 3 street festival on the famed Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood. Tickets for the street festival are available NOW at sunsetstrip.eventbrite.com. The Grammy Award-winning and multi-platinum California rock band and SSMF are partnering to create a unique festival experience that will let attendees “rock for a cause” with a significant portion of ticket sales to benefit Music For Relief, the nonprofit organization LINKIN PARK founded to support disaster relief, provide aid to survivors of natural disasters and support the prevention of such disasters via environmental programs. LINKIN PARK — Chester Bennington, Rob Bourdon, Brad Delson, Dave “Phoenix” Farrell, Joe Hahn and Mike Shinoda — are excited to perform at SSMF, as it will be their only North American performance for the rest of 2013. This also marks the band’s first performance in Los Angeles since May 2012, when they performed an intimate benefit show at the House of Blues Sunset Strip. “We started our career playing clubs on The Strip,” said lead vocalist Chester Bennington. “Its a thrill to be back where it all began, headlining this festival in our hometown.” “We are happy to welcome Linkin Park back to The Sunset Strip as headliners at this year’s festival. The band started their career on The Strip at The Roxy. It is fitting to see them perform on the boulevard’s largest stage, outdoors with thousands of fans. We are also happy to partner with Music for Relief this year, which continues to give back to those in need around the world,” noted SSMF executive director Todd Steadman. As in years past for the Saturday event, Sunset Boulevard will be closed to traffic between Doheny Drive and San Vicente Boulevard and transformed into a premier concert destination with two outdoor stages, beer gardens, an artist autograph tent, an outdoor VIP rooftop lounge, silent disco, VIP Lounge at On The Rox, food trucks and interactive experiences. The festival will announce additional artists as well as the 2013 honoree in the coming weeks. Chester said they started out their career by playing shows on the strip, and the first show was at the Roxy, which was the 1997 Xero show. Clears that all up.

I enjoyed this interview a lot. I'm surprised they are already working on vocals and stuff. I hope the new album is awesome. The Qwerty comment was cool too.

The lyrics could definitely be darker...for sure. MTM/ATS had some darker lyrics, but LT got rid of that.
-
I wouldn't mind if it were the same set. I love LP and I love seeing LP live. I'd travel for the entire world back to back for LP if I could.

LOL suit yourself.

Mike said one of the band's first show, not the very first show. I still think this all needs to get sorted out with Mike somehow. We all know Chester joined Linkin Park, or then Hybrid Theory, in March of 1999 because he got the call and demo on his 23rd birthday. Chester was born in 1976. He then went to LA days after and met LP, lived in his car while there for about a week or two, and the band chose Chester as the lead singer, the rest is history. Mark was in Xero in 1997 and they recorded the 4-track demo in 1997 as well, and I am pretty sure Mark left in 1997. So that left 1998 without a lead singer. Very weird to me.

They won't, that whole Harlem Shake fad died out months ago. Things like that only last for a month or two.
-
I bought my ticket at 3! I can't wait for this show!!!!!!!!
-
Maybe Mike was referring to the band without Chester.
-
I actually like LGM, just not the live version.
-
Sounds a bit silly to me why they wouldn't be mailed, but it's whatever. I would be coming all the way from MA just to attend this show so I'm not sure if I would trust not having the physical tickets before leaving.

Haha, not gonna happen. Meteora is the heaviest we will ever get from LP IMO. I would like some more heavier stuff from LP, but not the whole album. I like a lot of their slower stuff now more than I used to in the past. HT and Meteora are amazing, but I think a nice mixture would be good. LP could have pulled that off with LT, but the songs that weren't slow songs were not heavy enough. Victimized was way too short and the others needed some more aggressive vocals and guitar.

Is Preston going to this show? And yeah I seriously am considering it. I have an Aunt who lives in CA and this would totally fit with our schedule. I really want to see LP again before the LT cycle is over. I feel like out of the 3 shows I attended on the HCT, Camden was the only good one. The special LPU section sounds epic, too. I also bet LP will do something special at this show. I think you should go Hahninator. This will definitely be a better show then when you came up to my neck of the woods for Uncasville and Mansfield.
-
What exactly does that mean? And I actually am going to be buying a LPU ticket for this because I want to go. I have family in CA and we may be going. If so, I can't wait.
