  1. Pictureboard My December (Team Sleep Remix) No Roads Left (Chester's Vocal Take) Thoughts That Take Away My Pride (Meteora Demo) That is my ultimate dream demos we could ever get from LPU. Anything other than those, I don't care what we get. I'm basically content with MTM demos after LPU12 had 5 of them. I need these demos listed above. I want to hear these before I die. Lol.
  2. Well, last year, Julien-K was touring with MSI and they were going to go to Russia with MSI, but something prevented them from entering the country. Anyone remember that? MSI got in, but JK didn't, and Ryan was super pissed and ranting on Facebook and Twitter. I assume this may be an attempt to make up to the Russian fans, although, a lot of the Russian fans would probably have to travel far to see them. Random place.
  3. English version... Scott Koziol was a temporary bassist for Linkin Park. He played bass for the clip "One Step Closer" from the album Hybrid Theory. Left when Linkin Park bassist David Farrell returned to the band in 2000. And this week we were able to contact him. He was very attentive, answered some questions and sent us recent photos. Here is our gratitude for the attention and support. Check out the full interview below: LPAmerican: How would you describe your experience with Linkin Park? Scott: I was blessed with a unique opportunity to collaborate with members of Linkin Park. They are innovative artists, musicians and entrepreneurs. I was only six months in Los Angeles when I met the band. They showed me the city, I had a variety of new gear, and pushed me in new directions. They work very hard to achieve perfection music, visual arts and with the greatest respect to his fans. Quality over quantity. That was an experience influenced me and changed my life significantly. ALI: How do you feel knowing that participated in one of the clips that consecrated Linkin Park and showed to the world (One Step Closer)? Scott: It is a great band and very cool video ... I am pleased that many people liked it and created new opportunities for the band. ALI: How did you meet and how did the band? Scott: I was appointed to the band by a very famous person not named Barry Squire, a musician who works in LA with service information. Rob Bourdon called me, we talked a bit, then he sent me a CD of some songs for me to learn. I heard the band rehearsing sometimes dai started rehearsing in Hollywood 6 days a week and 8 hours per day, preparing us for live shows and recording of Hybrid Theory. LPA: After his departure from the band, did you participate in any musical project? Scott: I have participated in some live shows, galleries and writes for a variety singers and songwriters, singers and singers in training majors. LPA: Currently, you are still working with music, or you're going to a different path? Scott: I worked with Apple in October 2004 until October 2008, I was using my artistic skills and playing almost every day, but my schedule was too busy and could not do many shows in that time. Visited schools to teach students, faculty, staff and administration about Apple. I was doing workshops, presentations and public speaking on the topics of collaboration, music, digital communication and increased productivity through the effective use of technology. I learned a lot from my training with Apple during my collaboration with great people in schools and at Apple. I'm in the "Cal Poly (SLO) Journalism Advisory Board" so I occasionally visit the colleges to collaborate on Journalism Departments and Graphics (GRC). I participate in activities involving the organization of the Grammy. My position with Apple ended some months ago, and I started doing shows Down again in 2009. Currently I am working with esession.com, artists from Washington, an independent artist from Pennsylvania and another artist unregistered Cleveland. Many of the artists in which I was working during the past years are out of town, so I burn down my studio and send and receive files as the songs are created. LPA: Besides the low instrument you play some more? Scott: Yes, I play a lot of things, I'm starting to go the way of garage band or "Pro Logic" then touching anything that is around the traditional instruments and household items or even dog toy. I've been playing guitar a lot lately, using and picking up sounds from all the foolish things of keyboards, and Vihuela Guitarron to conventional percussion instruments ... ALI: What is your favorite kind of music? Scott: I listen to a variety of music, from a wide range of styles. Lately I've been listening to Deftones, Daughters of Mara, Nine Inch Nails, Anthrax, MIA, AR Rahman, John Zorn, Billy Holiday, Robert Plant with Alison Krauss, Led Zeppelin, Thelonious Monk, Kings of Leon, The White Stripes and Bob Marley name a few ... I was listening to Linkin Park EP the other day, which has a killer sound and it remains one of my favorites. When I'm playing Bass, like playing Modern Rock or groups metalheads that has great music and amazing vocalists. I like to follow feminine ballad singers and work with good material, new singers and songwriters. I love to meet great musicians in a "Jam Band" who likes funk, hip hop, latin, jazz and improvisation. All the best to you and hope everything goes well with your site ... Scott Koziol.
  4. Wow, I actually didn't pick up on this. That latest known 'rehearsal' performances we have from 2007 are from March. I think they pretty much have all the shows of 2007 recorded as DSP's. I am willing to bet.
  5. What ever happened to Scott Kozoil, Kyle Christener and Ian Hornbeck? Who the fuck is Ian Hornbeck?
  6. The only way we could find this info out is either one of the band member's gives us the info, or maybe venues that Xero/Hybrid Theory/LP played at in the past have the records of the dates.
  7. No Roads Left was rehearsed a few times live.
  8. Chester joined the band in 1984.
  9. I have a ''other'' section in my iTunes library for some LP live performances that I thought were awesome but didn't feel like keeping the whole show. Here are some of the DSP's tracks, I won't list other live stuff (2000-2013) in the section since they aren't from DSP's... Blackout (Live From Salt Lake City, 2011) Bleed It Out (Live From East Troy, 2008) Bleed It Out (Live From Rock im Park, 2012) Breaking The Habit (Live From Toronto, 2008) BURN IT DOWN (Live From Cape Town, 2012) Faint (Live From Denver, 2007) Given Up (Live From Columbus, 2008) Given Up (Live From Montreal, 2008) Given Up (Live From Selma, 2007) What I've Done (Live From Toronto, 2008) IN MY REMAINS (Live From Bristow, 2012) In Pieces (Live From Detroit, 2008) In Pieces (Live From Selma, 2007) LIES GREED MISERY (Live From Lisbon, 2012) LOST IN THE ECHO (Live From Porto Alegre, 2012) Qwerty (Live From Toronto, 2007) Shadow Of The Day (Live From San Bernadino, 2007) TINFOIL (Live From Camden, 2012) Umbrella (Live From London, 2008) VICTIMIZED/Qwerty (Live From Mansfield, 2012) Wretches And Kings (Live From Atlanta, 2011)
  10. I went to Bamboozle 2007 and the Best Buy 2010 show, do you think there is ever a chance of those getting released as DSP's?
  11. No idea. LPU7 was the worst LPU CD ever released. LPU7 could have owned if it was maybe a couple MTM demos and then 4 HQ live tracks or something from 2007 shows before PR 07.
  12. I believe in the LPU CD notes, it says it was recorded for Reanimation.
  13. When Chester said that, he may have been referring to Xero with Mark. It's still essentially the same band.
  14. Lame. Probably not Bamboozle then. I'm also thinking the only DSP's we would get are from the shows that are used on singles and other releases prior to 2007. That'd be cool though, some of those shows are amazing.
  15. Is it true that all 2007 shows were recorded for DSP's before Projekt Rev? Like Bamboozle or Berlin for example.
  16. I think it's more likely that Mike had the wrong show dates as opposed to Chester having the wrong birth date. Lol.
  17. I wouldn't count Sold My Soul To Yo Mama as a Meteora demo, and Standing In The Middle was actually a Reanimation demo, just like Points Of Authority (Crystal Method Remix) is.

Well, no one really knows how many demos/seeds LP has in the vault. I guess we will have to wait and see. I really do hope that we get some ATS stuff on LPU13.
  19. Yes obviously. I have been since LPU 3.0.
  20. I was at this show too. The 99 bottles of beer moment was fucking awesome and funny. I remember when everyone kept walking by and asking who was performing and one person said Lady Gaga and the person believed us. So funny. Haha. I waited in like for like 10 hours that day just to get front row, it was crazy. Great show, too. So much fun. And the only show ever to have The Requiem/The Radiance/New Divide, as well as the debut of Wretches and some other ATS songs. Good show, I had so much fun. Did we ever meet at the show?
  21. I agree that the promotion was horrible for LIVING THINGS. Especially when previous albums like MTM and ATS both had immense promotion and they both did well, MTM even went Platinum. I hope next album cycle is a 'normal' album cycle, not like the LIVING THINGS cycle. The touring cycle sucked, the promotion sucked, the CD sucked with no special edition and a jewel case only with no making of (I don't call Inside LT making of) and the LPTV wasn't very good, either. I thought LT was an amazing album, but the promotion did suck, much like OOA.
  22. Holy shit!!

From ATS so far we have only got I Have Not Begun and Robot Boy (Demo). That's it.
  24. This should be asked as well. Even just I'll Be Gone or Powerless. Powerless would make most sense because it was a single in Japan!!!
