  1. Kind of a n00b moment, back in like 2004, I didn't really have access to a computer a lot and I didn't know how to download music and stuff back then, so all I had was the LP CD's that I could purchase in stores. Anyways, a guy that worked at my family's business was super into computers and stuff and he burned me some LP CD's that he found on Limewire apparently. They were Under Attack and this CD that had the Colorado Springs 2004 show on it. To me, that show was the holy grail. It's such a low quality bootleg, and it was missing OSC for some reason, but I played the shit out of that CD, until later that year we got a nice computer and I learned how to go on sites and download music and burn my own CD's. Then I found all the awesome LP stuff.
  2. It's really stupid for people to think he is leaving when there is proof that he isn't. He flat out said he would never sacrifice anything in Linkin Park for other projects. He said it was PROJECT, just like Mike did with Fort Minor, like he did with Dead By Sunrise, and how Joe directs movies and music videos. Jesus Christ. When Chester was with Bucket Of Weenies, making a whole new band with Dead By Sunrise and touring, and playing with Camp Freddy, I don't remember anyone worrying about if he would quit LP or not. He will never quit. When LP decides to stop making music and touring, it will be a collective opinion from the whole band. I am 99% positive, and it won't be for years. He made an album and toured DBS, right? He never left LP. He just wants to have fun with STP. He said ''possibly'' an album and tour. If he does an album and tour with STP, it doesn't mean he will say ''fuck linkin park, I am the lead singer for STP.''. STP is no where as big as LP and he wouldn't do that.
  3. Lol Mark Wakefield was horrible. The reason that LP ever got signed to Warner and made it successfully was because of Chester's voice. If Chester leaves Linkin Park, I don't think LP would even continue to make music. But everyone shouldn't worry, Chester will not leave Linkin Park. He has said it like 4 times just last night.
  4. Exactly, LP is now a tech heavy band. Electronic. Chester also said in this interview that he enjoyed being able to use his voice and show his range. What I got from that is that with LP, it's more tech heavy and harder to be able to show his voice because it's not rock music like STP.
  5. I never said I hated Linkin Park at all, obviously I don't. I love LP and always will, no matter what. I was just saying that Chester is much better live in rock bands then he is with LP, live wise. He enjoys it a lot more obviously and his voice IS more fitted for a rock band, then it is a electronic band like Linkin Park. I don't see how that means that I hate the band. ATS and LT are very heavy electronically. I don't understand what you mean.
  6. Just normal wear and tear from him screaming/singing in LP and other projects since like 1994 with Grey Daze. He had trouble performing Crawling, so that's why it was dropped early last year. He also struggles with The Catalyst and BURN IT DOWN. I don't think he could handle a tour where he sang the whole STP set, as well as a whole LP set.
  7. Because Chester has a rock voice, and LP no longer makes rock music, just electronic shit.
  8. What a coincidence.
  9. I hope we can get a whole recording of this show.. I would love to hear the first half of the set especially.
  10. I remember this as well. People used to say he was half Russian and half Japanese, I thought that for a while as well.
  11. Thank you Skipees!! I can't believe he said he couldn't even go into the studio the next day because of all the screaming he did working with Mike. This was late 2005. We will never get these heavy MTM demos. Lol. Sound awesome though.
  12. Our very own Chester was once heavily into drugs as well. As for Scott, he was a good vocalist, but he was struggling with the vocals for STP earlier this year and was a douche about it to the other band members, so they fired him.
  13. The only link I can find is the 2 and a half song link posted before.
  14. Anybody else think this is like DBS?
  15. Yes, they did, and it's because he cares more about heroin then the band. They have broken up SO many times in the past and they kicked him out for good this time. The opportunity came up for Chester to fill in, so he did, since he was a huge STP fan since he was 13 years old.
  16. ''FYI, I will never leave LP. We are currently working on a new record and it's awesome''! - Chester on Twitter. So yeah, he definitely isn't leaving LP. This is awesome. I love this song. I've been playing it over and over for more than an hour now. I really like it. Legal issues, probably.
  17. LOL, guitar solos only fit with MTM because it was a rock album, straight up. LP is way too electronic now for guitar solos, let alone Brad's old style of guitar. Maybe LP can make some computer guitar solos or something.
  18. HQ of Out of Time (Live) would be epic.
  19. Anyone have lyrics?
  20. Such a good song. Chester is the fucking man!!!
  21. Does anyone know where I could find an old LPU chat transcript? I'm looking for the Chester chat from December 2005.
  22. I like to think it would be from either Hamburg or Worcester, because we have From The Inside and Easier To Run from the LPU tour from those shows. They included OSC from Detroit as well, but we all know it's not from Detroit.
  23. Flight is the way to go, you can find really cheap flights.
