It's funny, because the ''LP reject material'' are probably 1000x better than most LP songs nowadays. I like rock music, not some overproduced heavy electronic bullshit that doesn't show any potential of a great singer's voice.

Honestly, Chester's vocals in Rock N Roll Part 2. are probably some of my favorite vocals he has ever recorded... I wonder if Chester and Mike's parts were from unused LP demos, or they made them specifically for the track in 2004.

Wasn't Crawling w/ Chris Cornell (LPU8 exclusive) and Hunger Strike w/ Chester (Songs From The Underground) both mixed for radio singles in 2008? I remember reading that somewhere.

A song can have hip-hop beats without any rapping, it can have singing/screaming/etc. I'm talking about beats, not vocals normally associated with hip-hop.

I thought ATS had a lot of hip-hop style beats actually. Just non conventional hip-hop beats. MTM was more of a raw alternative rock kind of sound for most of the album, that's why I said MTM had the least hip-hop influence.

I honestly never cared much for the hip-hop element in LP's music. Ever since I first heard LP in 2000, the thing that really made me love LP was Chester's voice and the rock element of LP. This is probably why MTM is my favorite LP album, it has the least amount of hip-hop influence on the album. I'm not saying Mike is bad at rapping and making beats and stuff, it's just that's not really my type of music.

Oh god, I remember back in '08 when everyone was freaking out about the fake setlists. As for the real set with NRL, that would have been epic to hear. It sucks that Mike couldn't perform it live. I think they should have tried a version where Mike can sing the verses and Chester could sing the chorus. Chester could handle the chorus, but I bet that is where Mike had issues. It would have worked. Anyways, cool info guys.

Some of the singles are hard to find nowadays and pretty expensive for some. I would say try Amazon and Ebay for them, or just google them. -

The preview is actually growing on me. I will save my judgement for the full song, I may end up even liking this song a lot. I guess I was just upset before that I think LP will go into a full EDM direction, when in reality, this is only one song...
