How big is STPWCB really going to go, anyways? They're releasing a 5 song EP on October 9th. The tour is almost over, except for a few one off shows later in the year, and then just Soundwave next year so far. It's not like STPWCB will ever become big like LP, so I wouldn't worry too much about it flooding the news. I guess it's smart that you moved the news to the subforum, though.

I only pre-ordered the CD. I don't collect vinyl's and the deluxe edition set was too much money for me. I'm going to buy the STP EP on the Japanese website so I can get the making of DVD, and I'll probably buy a few copies of the EP in the US store as well.

Yeah, definitely buying the CD. 500 dollars is way too much for me to ever spend on anything like this. It looks cool, but I wouldn't use it, and it'd just sit and collect dust in my room like most of my LP stuff that I collect. I'm also not into Vinyl's (the only one I own is a Reanimation vinyl), so that doesn't interest me much. I'll buy the CD.

Haha, so in other words, music snobs. Those indie people think they know everything about music and won't accept anything that isn't indie. So funny. I love pissing those types of people off. Also, she probably wanted you to change it because she secretly loved it and probably didn't want to know about it because it ruin her indie image.

Great song. At first, I thought the live version wasn't that great, so I didn't think the studio version would be either. When I heard the clips released over the past weeks, I enjoyed it more. Now that I heard the full studio version, I like it a lot. Sounds way different than the live version, which is a good thing. Mike's flow on the verses is awesome. Chester's chorus is poppy, but I love when Chester does poppy style vocals. Plus, what do you expect with a Steve Aoki (dance, EDM artist), it's not gonna be like the usual LP style. Lol. I think the third verse is my favorite part of the song, with the awesome sounding guitar.

There are tons of remixes on here that haven't been released yet. It also means a lot to me to have a physical CD with these remixes, as well as a physical CD with ALTNC on it. Some people like stuff like that. People can't really complain if they just get the standard CD version; it will cost as much a regular CD. Not that much money at all.

This is what I mean. I think a lot of LP fans still have this idea in their head that the band still wants to leave the label and everything. LP had plenty of opportunities over the years, and they have gotten bigger than they ever were in 2006. It is true that the band wanted to leave Warner in 2005/2006, but like Soul said, they didn't want to get pissed on by the label, so to speak. I think the band made the right decision honestly. LP has remained very relevant in the music world while a lot of bands that started out in 2000 (nu-metal era) kind of fell of the map a bit. Mike and Brad are smart and I think they led the band to be as successful as they are today.

LP wanted to leave Warner during the making of MTM time period (2005-2006). They renewed their contract in 2006/2007 and have been fine with it ever since. I don't get why everyone thinks that LP still wants to leave Warner. The fans might want LP to leave, but I am pretty sure that the band doesn't want to.

Only a fool would spend above 150 for that.

Anyone rip this?? The LP community is definitely slacking nowadays. Used to be tons of rips of all TV stuff, audience recordings, interviews, radio stuff, etc. It seems like we don't get any of this anymore.

There are a lot of promo pictures that I have never seen in that video. Does anyone know where I can get all the promo pics of STPWCB? Would be cool.
