McArt Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 (edited) Apparently at some point, Street Drum Corps remixed 'Robot Boy' and have posted it on their YouTube account today (November 5). Being featured on Projekt Revolution 2008, SDC joined LP on stage to start each show of the tour with their own drum song that segued into the first LP song of the set and also joined them at most shows near the end to collaborate on a song ('Bleed It Out' or 'One Step Closer'). This is the first remix in a while to surface of an "A Thousand Suns" song and the first one for 'Robot Boy'. Astat's comment is worth mentioning... "They're being a bit modest in calling it "unofficial," lol. They obviously got the multitracks from the band to make it, which generally is what separates an official remix from an unofficial one." What do you think of the remix? Edited November 6, 2011 by Hahninator Quote
lgr Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 nice not quite sure about the repetition of the "fight for you" etc Quote

Xero21 Posted November 6, 2011 Posted November 6, 2011 Other than the shouting vocals they decided to add for whatever reason, I like this remix. Quote
Pez Posted November 6, 2011 Posted November 6, 2011 Me likely. SDC, offer a download link you good kids. Quote

AusNeil Posted November 6, 2011 Posted November 6, 2011 I actually really like the screaming backing vocals... Just what this song needed, some guts. Love this mix though. (Woo first post in about a year on this site...) Quote
Pez Posted November 6, 2011 Posted November 6, 2011 Try this useful thing No no no. Horrible youtube quality is something I cannot stand. Quote
Legend Posted November 6, 2011 Posted November 6, 2011 zwieR.Z could do better. Couldn't have said it better myself! Quote
danielpsoad-09 Posted November 6, 2011 Posted November 6, 2011 Not really a fan of remixes in general, but this one sounds cool. Good job. Quote

I feel like this should've been on some release Quote
rahulsethi Posted November 6, 2011 Posted November 6, 2011 This sounds good. I hope we get a good quality download link soon. Quote
Geki Posted November 6, 2011 Posted November 6, 2011 Really good remix!!! Can't wait for a super HQ download link from SDC. I already ripped it from YouTube. Quote
zerothree Posted November 6, 2011 Posted November 6, 2011 I like it. To be honest, it's nothing spectacular but it is pretty cool.If SDC were on tour with Linkin Park again at any point, it'd be sick to see them debut Robot Boy like that. Quote

zwieR.Z. Posted November 6, 2011 Posted November 6, 2011 Not really feeling it. I liked the first part a lot but when the drums became very intense they just didn't sound well with these sleepy vocals. Quote
