Mystery Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 If there are any demos of songs that we already have, or tracks we heard little of, that you would like to get ahold of, what would they be? Demos of songs wishlist - Don't Stay (it originally had reggae guitars) - Shadow Of The Day (it had rapping in it before) - The Catalyst (lyrics were different, "deserts fade into the sky", "violent lullaby") Demos of songs that were unreleased wishlist - Grecian - There is one demo on the ATS documentary, where Mike plays around five or six tracks after the shortened demo of "The Catalyst" is played. It comes in right after a quick BITS instrumental, the song is scatted by Mike, sing duh na duh na na and then it glitches to the next song. Quote
Ashwhisker Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 (edited) I would love any unheard b-sides. Edited December 2, 2010 by Ash Quote

holdlife Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 honestly and totally unrelated - i just want a better quality copy of "blackbirds". other than that, i am content with my collection. Quote
LPVTRN Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 I'd love a New Divide demo, otherwise I'm good with what we have. Quote
Trang Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 honestly and totally unrelated - i just want a better quality copy of "blackbirds". other than that, i am content with my collection.ATS deluxe edition has it... Best quality. I'd like to hear any DEMO of songs that were or weren't released within an album that have actual lyrics on it... That's why LPUX was so damn disappointing... Quote
leftshoe18 Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 I'd like to hear any DEMO of songs that were or weren't released within an album that have actual lyrics on it... That's why LPUX was so damn disappointing... LPUX had three complete demos with lyrics. I don't see what's so disappointing about that. LPU9 only had one finished song on it (I know there were others with lyrics, but they had either scatted or missing vocal parts). Quote
avo17 Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 I want No Roads Left (Mike or Chester vocals, i don't care) and Iridescent. Also, My December would be interesting. Quote
RiderSSPU Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 SOTD had rapping in it before? I would love to have that. Also I want No Roads Left Chester's vocals and the Don't Stay Reggae guitar one Quote
sotrix Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 Reanimation tracks without the guest rappers. Quote
leftshoe18 Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 Reanimation tracks without the guest rappers. That would be absolutely fantastic. On some of the tracks (Plc 4 Mie Haed or whatever it's spelled specifically) the guests absolutely ruin the song. Oh, and demos I'd want: No Roads Left with Chester's vocals Any Meteora demos Quote
LMK Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 Reanimation tracks without the guest rappers. This, ATS demos and Given up demo if there is one Quote
Lotsa_spaghetti Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 I'd love a demo of Hit The Floor or Given Up. And I'd love that demo of Iridescent that apparently has a guitar solo. Quote
1996_LP Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 I'd still love to get the finalised demos of LOATR & TLTGYA with Mike on lead vocals. I know that we got them somewhat on LPU9, but they where really early versions of those songs. I want the ones we heard in the making of MTM & LPUTV that are basically the finished song but with mike singing. Oh, and the My December Team sleep remix of course! Quote
ThePretender Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 They were thinking about lyrics, so I don't think a demo with the lyrics "deserts fade into the sky", "violent lullaby" excist. Don't Stay, LOATR with the finalized lyrics sung by Mike, Reanimation without the rappers and maybe those verses replaced with Mikes or Chesters and the rapping Shadow of the Day would be nice. Quote
danielpsoad-09 Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 Grecian and No Roads Left with Chester's vocals. Quote
holdlife Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 No Roads Left with Chester's vocals. seconded. mike sounds horrible on that track. Quote
Mystery Posted December 3, 2010 Author Posted December 3, 2010 seconded. mike sounds horrible on that track. Eh, I don't know. The vocals do seem out of place, but that's because he is better at softer singing. His voice isn't meant for a Rock song. Quote
Astat Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 Anything I don't already have is cool with me. Quote
Xero21 Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 (edited) Shadow Of The Day never had rapping in it. I remember where you heard that from though. It was from a kind of poorly translated German review of the album before it was released. They were talking about Bleed It Out but it accidentally got put in the SOTD section. Anality Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 seconded. mike sounds horrible on that track. ... are you trying to get yourself killed? Quote
FearOfTheDuck Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 In Between with Chester's vocals. And I heard somewhere that And One was recorded for the Hybrid Theory album, but then dropped. A pro-recorded And One could be epic... Quote
Ashwhisker Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 Not really a demo, but I wish we had an uncensored version of the High Voltage HT reprise. Quote
leftshoe18 Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 In Between with Chester's vocals. I don't think that Chester's voice would suit that song. It's too powerful for the message of the song, in my opinion, and that's why Mike's voice suits it beautifully. Quote
