hawk Posted June 19, 2010 Posted June 19, 2010 Who thought that the QWERTY performances where good? Who would like to see them return? I would. Quote
dark_master Posted June 19, 2010 Posted June 19, 2010 QWERTY (Live 2006) - Pure awesomeness. QWERTY (Studio) - Don't really like it. QWERTY (Live 2007) - Boring. Quote
tschenneck Posted June 19, 2010 Posted June 19, 2010 it would be so awesome to see the song live again. All Live Performances were just awesome...but i dont think that will happen... Quote
ChuckCheese Posted June 19, 2010 Posted June 19, 2010 Having seen the song live myself, I would love to see it return. That song destroys the place, and since it isn't really known by the majority of the people at the show, it's a nice little shout out to the hardcore fans. But there's no way it's happening. Quote
Astat Posted June 19, 2010 Posted June 19, 2010 If they would rehearse it and nail down an arrangement the entire band agrees on, I wouldn't mind seeing it return. The PR07 version was a mess though. Quote
DelusionsOfAdequacy Posted June 19, 2010 Posted June 19, 2010 Yes, if the song comes back they should play the 2006 version. Quote
JJJ Posted June 20, 2010 Posted June 20, 2010 Whats the difference between the 2006 version and 2007? Quote
ChuckCheese Posted June 20, 2010 Posted June 20, 2010 Whats the difference between the 2006 version and 2007? Let's see if I can get this right.... The 2006 version was the one they played live in Japan. Then they released a studio version on that year's LPU CD, and it was a bit different. The 2007 version was a mix between the live 2006 version and the studio version. Quote
annare Posted June 20, 2010 Posted June 20, 2010 It's not gonna be in the regular setlists of course, but they could play it a few times sometime somewhere. Quote
immortalsoul Posted June 20, 2010 Posted June 20, 2010 Would love to see a return of the 2006 live version of "QWERTY" on the fall tour! Quote
1996_LP Posted June 20, 2010 Posted June 20, 2010 Yeah I agree with most when it comes to QWERTY. if they ever do play it again they should play the '06 version. The studio version is good, but the summer sonic performance was pure perfection. They really didnt need to change a thing in the studio version at all. Quote
leftshoe18 Posted June 20, 2010 Posted June 20, 2010 anyone got a link to the 07 version. i've never heard it. Quote
hawk Posted June 21, 2010 Author Posted June 21, 2010 The 2006 version was fucking awesome, if hey returned then it would be sick. Its got everything the song, screaming and rap. Quote
sublimeric Posted June 21, 2010 Posted June 21, 2010 The Summer Sonic version was definitely the best, but I'll take it in any incarnation, so long as they don't make it the next great (boring) piano song. LP's live shows are too stale with all the hits & staples, and adding a 90 second intro/outro doesn't fix things. "QWERTY" would help switch it up! Quote
gorast Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 Am I the only one who doesn't really want to see it return in any form? I admit, I was freaking out when Summer Sonic '06 came around and they whipped out a new song out of nowhere. But after that...meh. QWERTY doesn't do much for me tbh. Now, Sold My Soul to Yo Mama? That would be something to see live. Quote
Astat Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 Sold My Soul to Yo Mama? That would be something to see live. Uhh...YAWN. Quote
gorast Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 Uhh...YAWN. Sarcasm. Didn't have my awesomeface on hand. Quote
tschenneck Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 Sold My Soul To Yo Mama? Fuck yeah! Joe in action, i would be excited!!! Quote
