I don't think they changed the lyrics with the intent of making them more commercial. The original lyrics Mike was singing sounded a bit simplistic, I think that Chester made the right call in saying there were some words they could change. I think they improved it. Hearing Mike sing it with just piano though was really awesome. He has a nice singing voice, it's not the best nor the most flashy, but it's just very nice to hear. This would have been a sick instrumental for their new album really.Well, I definitely cannot agree. The lyrics of the song are amazing. In fact, I think they're my favourite lyrics. What's your source for this collaboration happening anyway, that some idiot labeled the wrong song as Head Up? And listening again, that voice at 4:30 sounds a lot like Stephen Richards, and Taproot was on that tour with them and LP. Vaguely ? What the - ? And my source is that this was just before Head Up, the same one which we can see an excerpt from on The Chemist video, plus, my brother was at this show, is that okay for you ?
