Papelbon Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 (edited) Fake... Edit: Apparently not... Edited June 22, 2009 by Papelbon
[AndOne] Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 Probably. All those link prove nothing. We'll see what happens.
Astat Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 (edited) I almost guarantee this is real, and that this is what today's big announcement on KROQ is about. Jas is nowhere near dumb enough to post a link to a non-existant story on LP.com. Someone probably posted it too soon and quickly removed it. Edited June 22, 2009 by Astat
lordraiden Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 It's true. Chester just said it on KROQ. But I don't know it is the "big announcement" or not.
Astat Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 That's a REALLY strong lineup of bands. Also, this is the first time to my knowledge that LP's ever co-headlined a show.
[AndOne] Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 Well then this should be the Westcoast show Mike was referring to.
Xero21 Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 Yeah, this must be the big announcement. Mike already knew about the show so they've been saving the announcement of this for a while.
hahninator Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 Wolfmother is back with a new lineup. I think I'll try and make it out to this show.
Linkindude92 Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 TOOL will be the last band? never heard abt them..
Astat Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 (edited) And I thought Wolfmother disbanded. I was just talking about that with a friend last night actually! I knew the original keyboardist and drummer were gone, but I wasn't sure if Andrew had decided to keep going with the Wolfmother name or not, because the new lineup was playing under the name "White Feather" last I heard. LPxDC Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 TOOL will be the last band? never heard abt them.. 0_____o Tool and Linkin Park ! Chester and Maynard ! Epic. hell yeah. They should do a song together. And Chester can join Alice in Chains again!
GraDoN Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 tool is a critically acclaimed band and has had some success, no where near lp but because they have a dedicated fan base that is large they can headline with LP np. i dont like them 1 bit though :>
LPPhan2005 Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 Mike join Hollywood Undead for a song? That would be epic! Wish I could go! I'm seeing Creed the day before in Virginia.
LPxDC Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 honestly this line up is sick. Probably the best i have seen in a while. Ever since i heard SSSC i always wondered if LP and them could share a stage. Hmm. I wish i could go
Yass Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 well there are two stages i dnt kno maybe LP headline the first and tool the second.

They were out before Linkin Park even thought about forming. Just because one band can swoon a bunch of teenage girls, it doesn't make them "better".
