I absolutely love A Thousand Suns (it's my second favorite album of all time behind The Fragile by Nine Inch Nails) but I don't think it's going to get the same love as Hybrid Theory, Meteora and Minutes to Midnight are likely to get.

For some reason ATS is the less listened album on spotify for the band.

Mike already said on Twitch he doesn't really care about doing box sets for Meteora and MTM, but is the absolutely most very excited for ATS lol

To be fair it’s not really what he said. He said he’d love to do one for ATS but that they should probably do one for Meteora and the other stuff first (meaning MtM).  Mike also never hated MtM. He even said that without MtM, ATS could have never happened. He isn’t as fond of the earlier albums though like Chester has also said in the past. But yeah that quote was taken out of context, it’s not like he said he didn’t want to necessarily for those albums. Look it up.

There is no mention in all the track listings of So Far Away and Dedicated.

Edit: And there is no mention of Slip w/Chester/

Now that we have more info from Jeff Blue's vault, we know that there's a demo from 13/12/1999 with So Far Away (called "Knight Rider") and Slip, and those versions are likely to be the ones on the LPU albums (there's an earlier version of Slip on the "Complete Demos" CD, but it's the Xero version with Mark. Also, the song "Pointillism" from the 9-track Xero CD turned out to be an earlier version of So Far Away.
Dedicated is on the alternate HTEP from Nov 2000 under the name of "Kids", it has the same vocal takes as the LPU version but it's unmixed/unmastered.

Now I think the name So Far Away was invented specifically for the LPU release

i wonder why they added Xero stuff there, specially "Fiends" since it doesn't sound like the stuff that they were coming with at the time (Untitled, And One, Pictureboard) is like they don't belong to the same band haha (maybe they planned to rework that song?)

also, judging that the Pictureboard version from complete demos already has a different vocal take gives me hope that the latest NRG session is closer to the live version

same, i like the original names better (Pointillism and Knight Rider)

So Far Away always reminds me of that Dragon Force song
