For the next LPU CD, Pictureboard and a full Meteora b-side with vocals (a legit album-worthy song from those sessions). Those are the only 2 things I'm looking for at this point.

 

As much as it'd be awesome to hear The Messenger demo w/ a choir, the My December Team Sleep remix, the Given Up 21 Stitches demo, a When They Come For Me demo, etc....I doubt we'll ever get anything like that.

One of those damn heavy MTM demo!!!!

 

Are they so shitty that LP doesn't seem like they want to ever release them? ahah It just bugs me we still havn't got a single one of them. After all, Chester genuinely though they were album material worthy, since he went as far as to say "MTM will be our heaviest record yet". And he has referenced those demos a lot of times since then, speaking about "Monster heavy songs" with "crushing guitars".

 

Or that "thoughts that take away my pride" Meteora demo, to join the bandwagon. I'd like to hear it too.

An early 2003 LPU chat with Brad:

"according to Brad, "just drag it out, remember" is from a song called "A6" which will be on the LPU 2.0 cd."

 

Looks like it was from A.06 with lyrics.

Nothing from the Minutes to Midnight era unless it's a musically extraordinary track in comparison to the plethora of other demos from that period that we've received.

 

I'd really like to hear some ATS demos, as it's now the album we have the least amount of "extra" material from. I was SHOCKED that we got a bunch of Living Things stuff on this year's CD. More Meteora stuff would be cool, particularly since we just found out a bunch of new Meteora working titles.

There are plenty of tracks from the MTM, ATS and LT sessions that could be included but i can't think of any tracks that I want more than the above list.

 

Sometime I'd really like them to do a release of the Xero tape from masters (if they still exist), release the Chester audition versions, or do an entirely new recording of them. The live Reading My Eyes is great but I just prefer studio tracks. It'll be the 20th anniversary of Xero in a couple of years.

I love stuff like ATL, WWDK, PTB, etc. If they do have full demos like the ones I just mentioned left, that'd be cool, but they should stop giving us the weird instrumental ones that are mostly made by just Mike as it is.

In the LPTV Making Of New Divide, Mike says that in addition to Megatron (the working title of New Divide), he also did "an Optimus, a Starscream and a Bumblebee".

 

It would be interesting if they could release these. I wonder if they were worked into other songs or entirely unique. I doubt they were very developed aside from the backing music but it's still cool he was that prolific.

Then you already have what u want. the versión released by LPL includes the sample, i dont remember WHO they sampled but it was a hip hop artist.
