  1. Crazy that people will spend all that money on items that have obvious typos that can be spotted by anyone. Rob Boudon? Mike Shinode? Josepph Hahn? ww.lpunderground.com? Ignorance is bliss.
  2. Man that would be such a shame. They're both inferior IMO. Especially NRL. The way the drum beat keeps going after the rest of the music stops right before the second chorus is so off putting and awkward. Wtf were they even thinking?
  3. Ah, back when Brad had no regard for his own back. Love seeing old stuff like this!
  4. Goodbye, Chester. I've heard his voice in my head more than anyone else's and that will probably remain true for the rest of my life.
  5. I mean, the band can't predict the future. It didn't chart that well, but it was still very successful. It's their 5th highest viewed video on YouTube, which is more than Burn It Down. Rebellion was a promo single. There was no music video or official cd release and if I'm not mistaken, it was first released in the summer of '14. FM is the final proper single and it's not a coincidence that they saved it for the last one.
  6. Don't forget Castle of Glass and Final Masquerade. Those are very radio-friendly and a nice way to go out with each album.
  7. A lot of times they like to go out with a bang and save the most radio-friendly/best song for last.
  8. Talking to Myself. Easily my least favorite song on the new album.
  9. True that. Maybe they planned on playing it all along, or the intro got them thinking about it again. Either way, I'm really hoping it's it.
  10. Roads Untraveled is long overdue. Hope that's it. Would be very random, but great nonetheless.
  11. Solid performance by the band. I like the way it was mixed. The guitars and vocals in particular sound great. MIke's vocals at the end of Crawling sound better than any other official recording I know of!
  12. Rebellion, Mark the Graves and Guilty are probably my favorites from the album.
  13. I would be very surprised if it wasn't. The band has been releasing digital live albums and EP's the past couple of albums, even when they had DSP's. The only way I can see it not happening is if there are legal troubles with Download okaying it or whoever is in charge of that sort of thing.
  14. Haven't posted in a while, but logged in just to say Adam is a great guy. It's funny because he pretty much came out of nowhere and just appeared on the forums, I think during the LPU7 backlash (remember those days? lol). His effort to reach out to the community has really made things better. Just simple things like answering questions does wonders. I remember winning a minor contest on the LPU forums a few years ago, thinking I was going to win a CD or t-shirt or something... Adam hooked me up. I remember him asking me what I wanted and I told him the PR04 sampler. He said he looked around and found one, which was autographed by one of the no-name bands. That was the only thing I requested and not only did he give me that, but also 2 LPU shirts, some random PR stickers and this sick WID promo single that featured a clear CD. I was pretty shocked to see all that in the mail, to say the least. If you're reading this Adam, good luck to you, man. I wish you the best.
  15. Since this is the same format as ATS+, I'm assuming (and hoping) the DVD has mp3s of the whole show on it.
  16. Jay-Z is all about the $$$. If he's not getting any royalties, he's not allowing it.

    LT-era Live DVD?

I don't know if the band will make another live CD/DVD set; their shows are too long for CD's. I could see them releasing another DVD because as other people have said, it's almost been 5 years since RTR came out and that was the last major release. They'll probably just stick to EP's or something similar. Putting the mp3's on the Madrid DVD was a great idea, but the quality was weaker than the Puerta de Alcala release.
  18. Great find! I guess I kind of noticed that sound in the background, but I never knew it was a voice. Now I can't unhear it.
  19. I think you answered it yourself. Mike's lyrics reference Who Shot Ya and other songs, so they probably (possibly) just gave credit to those involved in the respected songs.
  20. I think the last thing they want is a fan working for them. They would get all giddy around them and might bug them with a bunch of questions. Adam is a class act. Stuck around on the forums and fansites during the bad days of LPU7 when everyone was complaining and bashing LP left and right. He came in and the LPU got that much better. Communication, contests (I even won one ) you name it. Adam is great at what he does and is a perfect fit for this job.
  21. Just downloaded all of them now. Here's what I noticed: *tracks sound louder *obvious changes to NRL and SOTD (both of which are worse IMO) *albums are gapless just like the CD's *the very beginning of Blackbirds is cut off just a little bit Other than that, I didn't notice anything else. Some of you may be experiencing the placebo effect, where you think there's a difference, when there's not. I will say this though: how No Roads Left and Across the Line didn't make the final cut of Minutes to Midnight is a mystery to me. If they absolutely had to narrow it down to 12 songs (for whatever reason), I can think of a handful of songs that aren't as interesting as those two. I personally would've much rather had POA from MK instead of that awful remix from LPU2. I'm really loving the live version of Papercut though! Intro is awesome as usual and the crowd just gives me goosebumps
  22. I completely understand why the band caters to the casual fan and to me it makes the most sense, but I think they could've played a couple more songs from Living Things. That would've been cool, but I guess the way they did it was pretty balanced (except for ATS).
