Like when they were doing their show at the Sunset Strip in 2013 and the LPTV that had them making flyers and handing them out for it, old-school. Fiore was putting songs like Sad and Blue in there just to tease us.

You might be thinking of a tweet that he posted during THP listening party after it was released. They definitely sing on Iridescent because of footage showing them recording it. Sometimes sources will list what is played by each member live as what they contributed in the studio as well.

I agree with the Pokemon, I was going to reccomend TLTGYA as another mid level song, very fun to learn.

OSC and GATS may be the only songs that would be worthwhile to play on it, at least if you want a challenge. ITE is insanely easy on guitar, its really just harmonics and a few chords. I know the game is more for people who have been plating guitar for a little while but I'd like to see a song like War or In Pieces on there

I don't remember where I saw it, probably in Live Talk, but those thread exists and and has notes on versions of songs like when they debuted with different beginnings, endings, etc.

I don't know if this is the right thread for this, but today I noticed that the repeated sample at the end of War is used again in the bridge of Wastelands, just buried in the mix and hard to hear.

COSE thats a good heavier setlist that they could use for festivals. I thinknthey will add one more song from THP and they will probably alter 10% of either setlist.

Cookie I'd really like to see them do that, it was suggested before to have Jared Leto sing the chorus during Carnivores but maybe Tim from Rise Against could do it too. It would also be nice if they get the lyrics better than you did.

Full songs like OSC and APFMH have done just as well on their own, but little instrumentals are good too. The Requiem was a really good one but it didnt transition well to other songs. Tinfoil transitioned to Faint pretty well, and Wake naturally flows with Given Up.

Have there been any instances for as long as they have been using Ableton Live where the preset for one song was not switched because the band had dropped or suddenly played a different song? Like if they inserted APFMH into the set at the last minute when they were supposed to be set up to play WID next.

We could do Recharged, but then we might as well eliminate the majority of those songs before we start. Maybe RTR

Faint is usually followed by OSC so definitely not Faint. Bleed It Out is good in either the main set or the encore but it really depends on what comes before it, like WID before BIO. OSC is a great closer with just the long ending, but BIO needs to have extenders for it to work to its fullest.

IMO, the only song that really needs shortened is GATS, and by that I just mean the intro. Crowds get confused as soon as the piano begins and its so quiet. They should play the radio edit, with or without Rakim's verse (unless Mike does the right thing and uses a different verse).

I think there are a good bit of songs that are at a completed stage like NRL with Chester's vocals, but that is one song that is incredibly unlikely to be released. There are fans that don't know that song, so why would it make sense to release a demo of it? The most likely reason that this was a mostly instrumental album was because we got THP just a few months before LPUXIV. Next year should have more songs with vocals because we will most likely not have a major release from the band.
