  1. Finally! I really like GATS so I hope UIG is as good or better. Can't wait!
  2. Standing In the Middle has an explicit version. I don't know about the rest.
  3. Albums are released on Fridays in most European countries. I'm not sure when but they are also released a week before in Asia/Australia, so we'll have the album for sure the 12th or 13th.
  4. 3news from New Zealand has posted a new interview with Chester. It's a very interesting conversation in which he talks about the sound of the new album, collaborations with Morello and Malakian, and a lot more. Make sure you read it because it's one of the good ones! Tom is everywhere. He was here in New Zealand with Springsteen the other month. You know, we invited him in with no expectations. We didn't have expectations for any of this. And if it works, and we like each other and it's fun, then our expectations become important. But let's just have fun first, you know? And we brought him in and played some of our stuff and said, "If there's anything here that you like and that you might want to mess around with, or maybe you hear something different and whatever, then we can stop and work on that. And if there's something you've written that you would like to hear us work on, then we're down with that". So we played him a whole bunch of songs and the stuff that we played him he was like, "Dude, I'll do whatever you guys want on these songs [but] I don't know if I can add anything to this stuff!" So that was cool. "Awesome, great, thank-you! So… do you have something?" And he busted out 'Rebellion', and had the riff and had a chorus. And it was like, "So yeah - let's just do that!" And we did it. And we recorded the track in a couple of days, we had worked out the parts, and Daron played the guitars and the bass, and left really the arrangements and the lyrics and stuff up to me and Mike. We wrote this f**king killer song. And it's one of my favourite songs on the record. Source: 3news
  5. I'm not particularly a fan of Morello but it'll be interesting to hear that song. I'm only excited about Rebellion since Daron is one of my favorite songwriters/guitarists. I hope all these collaborations on the album won't prevent them from playing those songs live.
  6. I don't particularly care for the movie but I'm very curious about the soundtrack. New music is always good.
  7. I don't think I've been this hyped for an album in a long time. "Rebellion" in particular sounds like an awesome jam. Can't wait for this to leak be released!
  8. That's an awesome album cover. Can't wait! And I'm glad they're just releasing info/music now. I didn't particularly like those puzzles or games from past albums to get a freaking date or album cover, or when they used to make like two announcements to finally announce something.
  9. I don't know if this was posted but here's Rakim talking about collaborating with LP.
  10. Linkin Park and Daron Malakian?! Holy fuck, my favorite band and my favorite guitar player (from my 2nd favorite band). This is going to be awesome!
  11. That medley sounded pretty good. I'm really pumped about the new album. I really want to believe Mike when he says the new music is loud and in your face, but I don't want to have very high expectations yet.
  12. Well, the drummers who play technical death metal and that kind of music can do crazy things with their feet. This guy in particular does an amazing job with a single pedal in some parts.
  13. Megabus doesn't go to Charlotte from Knoxville If they add an Atlanta show, I could to that. Flying is not an option, and Greyound bus isn't really appealing. I didn't like it the one time I took one of their buses.
  14. Is there anyone going to the Charlotte, NC show by car, and by chance, passing through Knoxville, TN on his way? I'm gonna be there and having someone give me a ride will probably be my only chance to attend a concert on this tour.
  15. I absolutely love this song. It's problably my favorite lead single they've ever released. I'm not one of those who's saying all the time 'LP PLZ GO BACK TO THE ROOTS", but this is very exciting. Musically, I feel it's the first time I've heard tiny bits of progressive stuff on an LP song. Contrary to most people's opinions, I like Chester's vocals and the rawness of them. I also think that Rob shines here. I can't wait to hear this album!
  16. I don't know if this was posted, but there's a new interview with Joe regarding the release of the Soundwave Transformers toy in Los Angeles on Thursday, September 19th. Joe talks about the collaboration with Transformers, Linkin Park, Mall movie/soundtrack and Chester joining STP. Besides, at the end he mentions there are still a "couple of things" Linkin Park has planned for the rest of the year. Source: http://frontrowliveent.com/linkin-park-tal...robertherrera3/
  17. That's what I'm talking about. Show that you at least care about the thousands of fans that have spent many bucks to see you perform and give them a night full of energy. It's really a bummer to see that only Mike and Chester care about giving 100% each night.
  18. Brad should at least fake he's having fun on stage. It's really pathetic watching him live. I will never get the 'we're not idiots jumping around anymore' idea .. I mean, WTF? It doesn't mean you're less 'mature' if you move, laugh, jump, or headbang on stage.
  19. Brad needs at least to fake he's having fun on stage. It's painful to watch him live nowadays. The other guys are great as usual, specially Mike and Chester.
  20. Hmmm I don't know. Check this: In the 1:30 mark, it sounds (and look at his left foot which is not hitting the hi hat pedal) like he's using double kick pedal for a few seconds.
  21. He's never used them on any studio recording. He's used double kick drums in the past during his solo and that's it.
  22. This is cool! I hope it works. It'd be nice to get some older shows.
  23. Precisely, they've been saying since 2010 that they started hating touring for so long after touring til death during their first album cycles. Watch this interview, for example: I think it's great that they want to keep themselves busy creatively. One tour per continent plus an album every 18 months or so is completely fine with me.
