  1. This show was weird because everyone forgot they were playing in Irvine yesterday lol. It'll take some getting used to, so it's good that I have a chance to do these while school is on.
  2. In the U.S. we start high school at 14. How many other people started high school recently? lol. Thats 3 members so far

  4. The Carnivores Tour has landed in California! Linkin Park, Thirty Seconds To Mars, and AFI will be playing their first of FIVE Californian dates on the Carnivores Tour in Irvine at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre on September 11, 2014. Linkin Park has graced the stages in Irvine multiple times before, in 2001, 2007, 2008, and 2011. At the band's first performance there in 2001, they performed as part of KROQ's Weenie Roast, alongside Jane's Addiction, Blink-182, Stone Temple Pilots, Staind, and 311 (w/ Shaquille O'Neal). Brad performed the riff of 'Sweet Child O' Mine' by Guns N' Roses over the extended bridge of 'Forgotten'! A bunch of funny moments happened at the show, too - Chester's pants came down during 'A Place For My Head', prompting Chester to apologize for the fans "seeing [his] ass," and after 'Forgotten', Mike asked fans to throw frisbees onstage so he and Chester could play. The band returned six years later in 2007, for another KROQ event - the KROQ Weenie Roast y Fiesta, with Korn, Social Distortion, Incubus, and, ironically enough, Thirty Seconds To Mars. It was the band's first hometown show in two years (the last being in Anaheim 2005). Mike announced that the band would return for Projekt Revolution later in the year as Chester read off the bill. Lastly, Mike brought out his pink Hello Kitty guitar for 'From The Inside', to which Chester responded: "That's a mighty pink pussy you have on your hands right there." The band returned the next year in 2008, where the band pulled a prank on Rob, as a response to their prank on Brad earlier on the tour. The band didn't come in at their cue during Rob's solo during the bridge of 'Bleed It Out', and had him repeat it two more times before they came back in! Mike performed a short keyboard cover of The Cure's 'Just Like Heaven', rapped 'Petrified' and 'There They Go' over the extensions of 'Points Of Authority', and the Street Drums Corps and Chris Cornell coming out during the band's set to perform! The band's most recent performance in 2011 for yet another KROQ event. The band had to drop a few songs due to an impromptu performance by the Foo Fighters, but they still delivered a great show! Mike rapped 'A Place For My Head' over the extended bridge of 'Bleed It Out'. The band has had a particularly funny history here, having a hilarious moment at every show (except 2011 ). At the band's previous performance in Phoenix, Arizona, they performed a standard Set A. Set A features 'Crawling' and 'Points Of Authority' among other things. Mike rapped a hybrid verse of 'Remember The Name' by Fort Minor over his solo medley. Mike has kept it relatively safe when it comes to his medley as of late, only rapping a verse of 'When They Come For Me' and the hybrid RTN verse at the past few shows. What would you like to see him perform? According to the results in this poll, you guys want to see 'Dedicated', 'High Voltage', and 'Nobody's Listening' among the others! Speaking of keeping things safe, the band has yet to implement ANY big changes into the setlist throughout the Carnivores Tour, while we know they can do a lot. The band has rehearsed the rarities from Hybrid Theory, 'When They Come For Me', 'A Light That Never Comes', 'No More Sorrow', 'Wretches and Kings', and 'Breaking The Habit' for the Carnivores Tour, but they unfortunately did not make the cut for the final setlist. According to our live poll, some of those songs (namely 'A Place For My Head' and 'By Myself') are the most requested songs for the band to bring back! Check out some other songs that the band has rehearsed but not played over their career, and be sure to take our 2014 Live Poll for songs that you want to see the band perform! Check out this performance of 'From The Inside' back in 2007 from Irvine. Like I previously mentioned, it features Mike's pink Hello Kitty guitar! If you're curious about the band's guitars and other tech, check out our own Astat's linkinparkguitar.com or the Gear Thread! Who'd want to see the Hello Kitty guitar back in the rig? Personally, I'd like to see Mike rock with it during 'Rebellion'! AFI and Thirty Seconds To Mars are doing a GREAT job on tour! AFI performed their standard set, opening with 'The Leaving Song, Pt. II'. The band implemented some of their new hits into the setlist including 'I Hope You Suffer' and '17 Crimes'. The band added some old treats in, too, like 'The Days Of The Phoenix' (heh, get it? Phoenix? I'm sorry. I'll stop.) and 'Sing Your Sorrow'. They closed out with the crowd-pleasing 'Miss Murder' that got the entire venue moving! Thirty Seconds To Mars performed their regular set, opening with the old-school fan-pleasing song, Carl Orff's 'Carmina Burana: O Fortuna' and their single from their new album, Love Lust Faith + Dreams, 'Up In The Air'. They performed hits like 'Do Or Die' and 'City Of Angels', as well as some treats like 'Search and Destroy' and 'Conquistador'. Jared went deep into the crowd during 'Kings and Queens', and giant balloons flew everywhere during 'This Is War'! During Jared's acoustic set, he took some requests including 'Alibi', and the band's biggest song, 'The Kill (Bury Me)'. The band jammed to Pantera's 'Cowboys From Hell' while Jared invited fans onstage for their final song, 'Closer To The Edge'. Hours before the event started, Jared hoped on VyRT for a VyRT Violet acoustic session, playing requests like 'Buddha For Mary' and 'Kings and Queens', playing some brand new songs (all of them which I have pretty much named myself ): 'Here I Am', 'Running', and 'Angel of Love', some unreleased songs like 'Save Me' and 'Witness', and, performing a rare song that he recently wanted to start playing again: 'Stranger In A Strange Land' for the first time acoustically. Speaking of VyRT: an upcoming event is just around the corner! Linkin Park and Thirty Seconds To Mars will be streamed from the platform on Monday (September 15) from the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, California. For those who don't already know, VyRT is Jared Leto's online ticketing/streaming company, where artists can connect to their fans on a whole new level. The band can interact with their fans from the stage, as well as do impromptu sessions (called VyRT Violet) from pretty much anywhere! Jared has been doing them quite often, performing a bunch of cool songs and giving the fans some special treats (literally, he threw popcorn at the camera). Linkin Park recently utilized the platform by streaming their Q&A from the LPU Summit in Woodlands, TX to LPU members who were on VyRT! If you haven't already, buy your ticket for $15 to view both sets! You can also purchase a Linkin Park VIP for $40 that includes exclusive content, including a post-show broadcast! Who's heading to the show? The band will probably play Set B in order to maintain their setlist rotation. Stop by the Music For Relief booth to donate, their current cause is to help stop the ebola epidemic taking place in Africa. We'll keep you updated on the show both here and on our Twitter! Check out the rest of Linkin Park's 2014 touring schedule here. *Note: Apologies for this being super-late! The struggle of just starting high school are real. Setlist 01. Mashup Intro #2 02. 6. Even if that was in the election, it would probably make it to the top 3 lol. Shadow Of The Day
  7. The Carnivores Tour is on its final stretch! Linkin Park, Thirty Seconds To Mars, and AFI will take the stage at the US Airways Center in Phoenix, Arizona on September 10. Linkin Park has performed in Phoenix many times before: on three occasions in 2000 (1, 2, 3), another two shows in 2001 (1, 2), 2002, 2003, 2004, 2007, 2008, and 2011 - a giant 11 times! Who's ready for a history lesson? Before we start - allow me to point out that this show is a big one for LP: Phoenix is Chester's home town! Every time they play there, something special's bound to happen. If we really want to go to the roots of the band in Phoenix - it goes farther back than Linkin Park. Chester used to perform there all the time when he was part of the band Grey Daze. As for Linkin Park, their first confirmed show there in 2000 was a very important one in the Linkin Park trading community, and it still is: the show has the oldest recording of the band that is currently in circulation! You can go grab a download of it in this thread, if you don't already. The second show in 2000 is an interesting one - it's one of the rare occasions where the band really changed up their setlist. The main changes in the set include an opening combo of 'A Place For My Head' and 'In The End', as well as the dropping of 'Forgotten'. The last show in 2000 was part of KUPD's Red Christmas Party, which included other acts like UPO and Green Vinyl Dream. The first show in 2001 was an OFFEST show, which was an off-tour date of the Ozzfest. The lineup at the OFFEST show included Slipknot, Papa Roach, Disturbed, and Mudvayne. The second show in 2001 was originally booked for November 13, but it ended up being pushed back two days to the 11th. The show was part of the Family Values Tour, where the band performed alongside Stone Temple Pilots, Staind, Static-X, and Deadsy. Funny enough, Chester joined Stone Temple Pilots onstage for 'Dead & Bloated' during their set! In 2002, the band had to stop and restart 'Papercut' and 'A Place For My Head' due to the crowd being extremely rowdy - a rare thing for the band to do. The setlist included 'Step Up', 'It's Goin' Down' with DJ Z-Trip, and a cover of Deftones' 'My Own Summer (Shove It)'. The band returned again in 2003 for a two-show stop in Arizona at both Phoenix and Tuscon during Projekt Revolution 2003, where they performed with Mudvayne, Xzibit, and Blindside. 2004 saw them returning yet again with Projekt Revolution, this time with Korn, Snoop Dogg, The Used, and Less Than Jake. The band performed a great set, including a cover of Nine Inch Nails' 'Wish'. Ivan the Urban Action Figure, Bert McCracken, and Jonathan Davis came out to perform during the Hip-Hop Medley, 'Faint', and 'One Step Closer', respectively. The band returned again in 2007, where Mike thanked Phoenix (the city, not Mr. Farrell) for "giving them" Chester over the extended intro of 'Papercut'. Mike went into an entire speech about how they needed the band at the time, and they luckily found Chester. The band returned again in 2008 for Projekt Revolution, with Chris Cornell, The Bravery, ASHES dIVIDE, and Street Drum Corps. Chris came out onstage to sing 'Crawling' with the band, and the Street Drum Corps performed on 'No More Sorrow' and the bridge of 'Bleed It Out'. Again, during the intro of 'Papercut', Mike told a story about Phoenix (again, not our beloved bassist). The first time they'd heard their own song on the radio (which happened to be 'One Step Closer') was in Phoenix, at Chester's dad's house. What a great moment for the band! Finally, most recently in 2011, the band returned to Phoenix again with The Prodigy for the A Thousand Suns North American Tour. Mike sang the chorus of 'Burning In The Skies' over the extended bridge of 'Bleed It Out'! That concludes our lengthy lesson of the day! At the previous show in Englewood, Colorado, the band performed a pretty basic Set B, which features 'With You', the 2014 Abridged Version of 'Dirt Off Your Shoulder/Lying From You', and 'Somewhere I Belong'. The band has yet to implement any major changes into the setlists on tour, and we know they have a lot they have under their sleeves! The band has rehearsed 'When They Come For Me', 'No More Sorrow', 'A Light That Never Comes' in full, the rest of Hybrid Theory, and a bunch of others to be performed on the Carnivores Tour, but they didn't make the cut for the final setlists. Some of the songs, like 'A Place For My Head' and 'By Myself', are leading on our 2014 Live Poll - songs that fans want to see performed on the setlists! What would YOU like to see added into the sets? Check out this awesome performance of Mike's Solo Medley and the new 2014 Version of 'Dirt Off Your Shoulder/Lying From You' from the previous show in Englewood! Mike rapped a 'hybrid' verse of the Fort Minor song, 'Remember The Name'. What songs would you like to see Mike rap over his medley? ZiaJdm2bwQ4" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen> If you're curious as to what else you have in store for you if you're visited the Carnivores Tour - I've got you covered. AFI and Thirty Seconds To Mars are really giving it their all on these last few shows of the tour! AFI performed their regular setlist, featuring hits like 'I Hope You Suffer' and '17 Crimes', opening with 'The Leaving Song, Pt. II', including some older treats like 'Silver and Cold' and 'The Days Of the Phoenix', and closing out with a bang with 'Miss Murder'. Thirty Seconds To Mars performed their regular setlist again as well, which features an old-school opener of Carl Orff's 'Carmina Burana: O Fortuna' and their lead single from the band's new album, Love Lust Faith + Dreams, 'Up In The Air'. They include new songs like 'Conquistador' and 'End Of All Days', older songs including 'Search and Destroy' and 'This Is War', and new singles like 'Do Or Die' and 'City Of Angels'! Giant balloons fell during 'This Is War' and Jared went deep into the crowd during 'Kings and Queens'! During his acoustic set, Jared Leto took a request or two from the crowd and played the band's biggest hit, 'The Kill (Bury Me)'. The band closed their show by jamming to Pantera's 'Cowboys From Hell' and their hit from This Is War, 'Closer To The Edge'. The band invited fans up onstage from the crowd to dance and sing with them, too! Do you want to see a date on the Carnivores Tour but can't make it to a show? You're in luck! Jared Leto's online ticketing service, VyRT, will be livestreaming Linkin Park's and Thirty Seconds To Mars' sets live from the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, CA on September 15! You can purchase a basic ticket for both sets for only $15, or the recently-added VIP for Linkin Park fans, which costs $40. It includes both sets live, access to an exclusive post-show broadcast with the band, and more! The band has recently used VyRT to livestream their Q&A with LPU Fans at the LPU Summit in Woodlands, TX a few nights ago! The band could hop on at anytime - Jared likes to do small VyRTs with his laptop webcam (he calls them VyRT Violet) and perform a few acoustic songs, and sometimes give the Echelon a treat! Recently, he showed a teaser from the band's upcoming live film, Into The Wild on VyRT Violet. Be sure to keep an eye on VyRT - Jared has teased that Mike and/or Chester would be hoping on solo at some point. Maybe it'll happen sooner than you think! Who's heading to the show? The band will likely perform Set A, to stay consistent with their setlist rotation. Stop by the Music For Relief booth and donate, you'll be helping put an end to the ebola epidemic taking place in Africa. If you haven't been keeping up with the world of Linkin Park, here's what you've missed over the past few days - the 12th LPU Summit has been announced for Amsterdam on November 7, 2014, and the full credits song for Joe's movie, MALL, has made its way to Youtube. We'll keep you updated on what happens at the show in Phoenix here, so check back after the show or follow us on Twitter for live updates! Check out the rest of Linkin Park's 2014 touring schedule here. Setlist 01. Mashup Intro #2 02. Guilty All The Same 03. Given Up 04. Points Of Authority 05. One Step Closer (Ext. Outro) 06. 8. the bass is so loud in DOYS/LFY lmao.
  9. lmao, I love how the band's visit to Interlaken is just a fucking train for 30 seconds.
  10. This is all going downhill... As a long-time user of VyRT, I personally don't feel comfortable ripping anything from it. As Linkin Park fans I understand there's many different places we can get downloads (even here in our forums). The thing about the VyRT team is - the get leaks taken down fast. Sure, maybe a performance of one song or two will stay on Youtube, but full recordings will be taken down within a day. If you're looking to get a rip of the show - all the power to ya. You may not get it as easily as you think you will. That being said, let's stop talking about the implications of downloading this. If you want to discuss it further, take it to the VyRT thread I setup awhile ago.
  11. You're not allowed to share it here, so have fun with the bad Youtube quality that'll be taken down an hour after it's uploaded
  12. In Between Honestly, this one has grown on me and it's a nice song. Just barely got beat out by SOTD.
  13. Of course Nick makes the 1000th setlist in the thread
  14. A VIP Package is now available for LP on VyRT, for $40. Here's what it includes: Both Linkin Park's and Thirty Seconds To Mars' sets live Orange Badge on VyRT Access to the post-show broadcast (could be a Q&A, performance, etc.) https://beta.vyrt.com/live/carnivores-tour
  15. All are local time: Doors - 5:30PM AFI - 6:30PM - 7:15PM 30STM - 7:30PM - 8:45PM LP - 9:20PM - 11:00PM
  16. The Carnivores Tour is still going strong, and is taking its next stop in Colorado! Linkin Park, Thirty Seconds To Mars, and AFI will be taking the stage at the Fiddler's Green Amphitheatre in Englewood, Colorado on September 8, 2014. Linkin Park is no stranger to the city, as they've played there plenty of times before before: 2001, 2004, 2007, and 2012. In 2001, the band performed in Englewood as part of the Street Soldiers Tour, alongside Taproot and Alien Ant Farm. In 2004, the band visited the city on the 2004 Projekt Revolution, with Korn, Snoop Dogg, The Used, and Less Than Jake. Snoop Dogg came out on stage during the 'It's Goin' Down' portion of the Hip-Hop Medley to rap a verse from his song, 'Gin & Juice'. In 2007, the band returned with Projekt Revolution again, with My Chemical Romance, Taking Back Sunday, HIM, Placebo, and Julien-K. 'One Step Closer' featured an extended outro for the first time, however, it's not the outro we know today. Brad just played the riff a few times for fun. Since it was the last show of Projekt Revolution, Mike invited everyone onstage for the last song of the tour, 'Faint'. In 2008, the band returned yet again for Projekt Revolution, this time with Chris Cornell, The Bravery, ASHES dIVIDE, and the Street Drum Corps. Due to a strict curfew, the band went on half an hour earlier (8:50PM instead of the regular 9:20PM) and changed up the setlist a little. The 2012 show saw the band with MUTEMATH and Incubus for the Honda Civic Tour, and this is the show where the band changed up the rotation of the setlists - playing Set A instead of Set C. All of the shows, except in 2001, where at the same venue as the Carnivores show. Hopefully the band continues their good history in Englewood! At the band's previous show in Dallas, Texas, they performed Set A. Set A includes 'Crawling' and 'Points Of Authority', while Set B includes 'With You', 'Dirt Off Your Shoulder/Lying From You' and 'Somewhere I Belong'. Over his solo medley, Mike performed the hybrid verse of 'Remember The Name'. Most of the performance went by just as usual! The band has yet to make any changes to their setlists on this tour, but they do have a few songs they could play off the bat! 'A Place For My Head', 'When They Come For Me', 'No More Sorrow', 'A Light That Never Comes', the rest of the rarities from Hybrid Theory, and a few more have been rehearsed for the tour, but not played. On two occasions in 2012, the band randomly whipped out 'A Place For My Head' when they were having technical problems (Bucharest and Noblesville). As sad as it is to admit it, I'm honestly hoping the band has a technical issue or two onstage so they could fill that time with a song they haven't played on tour yet! Check out this video of Mike's solo medley from the last show in Dallas! Mike rapped a hybrid verse of Fort Minor's 'Remember The Name', which is a combination of the first and second verses. What songs do you think would go well over his medley! Take the poll we have setup! According to the results so far, fans want to see Mike rap 'High Voltage', 'Dedicated', and 'Step Up' among others! AFI and Thirty Seconds To Mars are still going strong! AFI performed their regular set, opening up with 'The Leaving Song, Pt. II', performing new singles like 'I Hope You Suffer' and '17 Crimes', some old songs like 'Medicate' and 'The Days Of The Phoenix', and closing with the fan-favorite 'Miss Murder'! Two songs appeared early on the tour that were dropped from following setlists: 'A Single Second' and 'Beautiful Thieves'. Will we see those songs return eventually? Thirty Seconds To Mars' set also went as usual, opening with a song some older fans of the band may remember, Carl Orff's 'Carmina Burana: O Fortuna' as well as the bands single from their new album, Love Lust Faith + Dreams, 'Up In The Air'. They performed new singles like 'City Of Angels' and 'Do Or Die', new songs from their new album, 'Conquistador' and 'End Of All Days', and songs from their third LP, This Is War like 'Kings and Queens' and 'Search and Destroy'. During Jared's acoustic set, he performed the song 'Hurricane' from their previous effort, as well as the band's biggest song, 'The Kill (Bury Me)'. The band closed with an instrumental jam of Metallica's 'Enter Sandman' (the first time they've done so on tour, but it was a common occurrence in 2010 and 2011) and their single from their 3rd LP, 'Closer To The Edge'. Jared invited fans from the crowd to party onstage with them as they performed their final song! Other cool events at the show include giant balloons falling at the end of 'This Is War', tons of confetti, and Jared going deep into the crowd during 'Kings and Queens'! If you haven't had the opportunity to check out a date on the Carnivores Tour yet, don't worry! Jared Leto's online ticketing service, VyRT, is planning to livestream Linkin Park's and Thirty Seconds To Mars' sets from the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, CA on September 15, which is just over a week away! You can purchase a $15 ticket for the event here, or purchase a bunch of extras for Thirty Seconds To Mars, which include a backstage tour, a post-show acoustic set, and more! Jared teased that Chester may join them for a song or two during the post-show acoustic performance, so be on the look out for that! Jared has been appearing on VyRT a lot recently, performing short acoustic sets and some exclusive stuff for MARS fans. Linkin Park also started taking advantage of the service, by allowing LPU members with a password to see the band's Q&A from their summit in Woodlands, TX a few days ago. Linkin Park is expected to plan many more events to be a part of VyRT, so get your first experience with the upcoming show! Who's heading to the show? The band will likely perform Set B if they're staying consistent with their setlist rotation. Stop by the Music For Relief booth to donate to the cause of helping put an end to the ebola outbreak currently taking place in Africa. In other Linkin Park news, the 12th LPU Summit has been scheduled for Amsterdam on November 7, and the full theme song for Joe's movie, MALL, recently made its way to Youtube. We'll keep you updated on any changes in the setlist at the show both here and on our Twitter! Check out the rest of Linkin Park's 2014 touring schedule here. 17. Meteora Week - let's see what you've got!
  18. This is the most mixed voting for a first song I've seen yet. Wake
  19. Fixed everything but this note - I'll talk with Mark to see if we want to change how we currently have it listed. Fixed!
  20. ...They did this already (or attempted to), except w/o THP.
  21. I approve of this election. It actually went mostly in my favor for once!
  22. I didn't know a paragraph counted as a large update.
  23. The Carnivores Tour wraps up its short Texan excursion in Dallas! Linkin Park, Thirty Seconds To Mars, and AFI are headed to the Gexa Energy Pavilion in Dallas, Texas. Linkin Park is no stranger to Dallas, as they've performed there plenty of times in the past: THREE times in 2000 (1, 2, 3), twice in 2001 (1, 2), 2003, twice in 2004 (1, 2), 2007, 2008, 2011, and 2012 - a HUGE TWELVE times! Who's ready for a history lesson?! We have a lot to cover today, get ready! At the first show in 2000, which is the earliest time the band has returned to a city on this tour, the band performed as a part of Union Underground's 'An Education In Rebellion' Tour, all the way back that August. At the second show of that year in Dallas, the band was performing on Kottonmouth Kings' 'Riding High' Tour, one of Linkin Park's longest tours (33 shows!). The last show in 2000 was part of P.O.D.'s 'King Of The Game' Tour, where they performed with the likes of P.O.D., (hed)p.e, and Project 86. The first show in 2001 saw them performed on the Ozzfest, a very famous time in the band's early history. They performed alongside Papa Roach, Marilyn Manson, and Slipknot - a heaven for nu-metal fans! The second show in 2001 had them performing on the Family Values Tour, where they played with Staind, Static-X, and Stone Temple Pilots, which recently took in Chester as their lead singer! During STP's set, Chester came out onstage to sing 'Dead & Bloated' with them. STP were always one of Chester's favorite bands. He went from being a guest during their set to being their lead singer in 2013! Anyway, when the band returned in 2003, the band performed new Meteora songs like 'Session', 'From The Inside', 'Hit The Floor', and 'Easier To Run'. During 'One Step Closer', Christian Lindskog from the band Blindside came out to perform with the band! The first show in 2004 featured one of Linkin Park's best sets: opening with 'With You', now-rarer songs like 'Nobody's Listening', 'It's Goin' Down', and 'From The Inside', as well as a GREAT encore consisting of 'My December', 'P5hng Me A*wy' from Reanimation, 'A Place For My Head', and 'One Step Closer'. Wow! The second show was part of the famous 2004 Projekt Revolution, where they performed with Korn, Snoop Dogg, The Used, and Less Than Jake. They band performed a cover of Nine Inch Nails' 'Wish', as well as bringing out a few guests on the tour; Ivan the Urban Action Figure during the 'It's Goin' Down' portion of the Hip-Hop Medley and Jonathan Davis during the Reanimated Bridge of 'One Step Closer'. Projekt Revolution 2007 was the band's next performance there, alongside My Chemical Romance, Taking Back Sunday, HIM, Placebo, and Julien-K. Notable occurrences at the show include Mike rapping his verse from 'Respect 4 Grandma' during the extended intro of 'Points Of Authority', and an awesome encore of 'Cure For The Itch' (MTM Version), 'QWERTY', 'Bleed It Out', and 'Faint'. Dallas has had some great endings of the show! Will the trend continue tonight? 2008, the second to last show of the 2008 Touring Cycle, had some cool things happen: Mike rapping 'In Stereo' and 'There They Go' over the extensions of 'Points Of Authority', Chris Cornell coming out to sing during 'Crawling', and the band playing a double-encore set! The band performed a rescheduled show in Dallas in 2011, after having to cancel a performance there a few weeks prior do to Chester becoming ill. Mike performed an keyboard transition from 'What I've Done' into 'No More Sorrow', and the band performed 'A Place For My Head' over the extended bridge of 'Bleed It Out', as well as Rob performing a drum solo. Finally, at the most recent performance there in 2012, where Chester's mohawk returned! The band incorporated the new Living Things song, 'In My Remains' into the set as well as changing up the order to the set yet again. That was most likely the longest history lesson yet. Just wait until California... Yesterday, the band performed at Woodlands, TX for the first show since the break. The 11th LPU Summit was held there, and the band performed 'Final Masquerade' acoustic again, as well as broadcasting their Q&A via VyRT. They performed Set B, which contains 'With You', 'Dirt Off Your Shoulder/Lying From You', and 'Somewhere I Belong'. Mike rapped a verse from 'When They Come For Me' over his medley. The band has plenty of songs they can randomly perform on the tour - including 'A Place For My Head', 'By Myself' and 'No More Sorrow', the leaders on our 2014 Live Poll. Other songs the band rehearsed but didn't play on the tour include 'A Light That Never Comes' (the full version), 'Breaking The Habit', 'When They Come For Me', and the other rare Hybrid Theory songs. Watch Chester and Brad perform 'Final Masquerade' acoustic at yesterday's summit in Dallas! This differs from the last performance of it, because Mike randomly disappeared and it lacks the bridge where Brad would play the chords instead of his solo. The next summit has been announced to be in Amsterdam, The Netherlands on November 7, 2014. Will the band perform an acoustic song there, or do a rehearsal? What do you think? The other bands on the Carnivores Tour are still jamming! AFI performed their regular setlist consisting of hits like 'I Hope You Suffer', 'The Leaving Song, Pt. II', and 'Miss Murder', as well as some older tracks like 'Medicate' and 'The Days Of The Phoenix'. AFI hasn't changed their setlist since the two Florida shows at the beginning of the tour, where they played 'A Single Second' and 'Beautiful Thieves' for the only times on the Carnivores Tour. Do you think they'll be back in the set before the tour wraps up? Thirty Seconds To Mars also performed the same structured set that they've been playing, which includes an old-school opened of Carl Orff's 'Carmina Burana: O Fortuna' and their new song, 'Up In The Air'. The band performed their hits like 'Do Or Die' and 'This Is War', as well as some other new songs like 'Conquistador' and 'End Of All Days'. Jared performed his acoustic set from the middle of the crowd, taking requests and performing MARS's biggest song, 'The Kill (Bury Me)'. Before the acoustic set, Jared did the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, challenging the entire audience to do it! The band concluded the show with an instrumental jam of Pantera's 'Cowboys From Hell' and Jared inviting fans from the crowd up on stage for 'Closer To The Edge'. During 'Kings and Queens', Jared went way back into the crowd to say hello to those who aren't all the way up in front! If you live in a location that isn't being visited by the Carnivores Tour, don't fret! Jared Leto's social ticketing company, VyRT, will be broadcasting Linkin Park's and Thirty Seconds To Mars' sets from the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, CA on September 15! You can purchase a ticket for both sets for as low as $15, as well as buying a variety of packages for exclusive Thirty Seconds To Mars-related events, including a backstage tour, a post-show chat, and even an acoustic set! Jared has frequently been appearing on VyRT for a lo-fi webcast they call VyRT Violet and playing short acoustic sets. At the show in Tinley Park, IL, they attempted to VyRT them heading onstage to play their show, but the Internet did not cooperate. Recently, on the 4th, Jared performed a special acoustic set just for those who have purchased a ticket already, which included a few acoustic songs and a sneak-peek of their upcoming live film, "Into The Wild". Will you join us on the 15th to experience the show through VyRT? Who's heading to the show? The band will likely perform Set A, since they performed Set B yesterday in Woodlands.
