  1. I think Robot Boy should lose. I'll be the loner here and say No More Sorrow
  2. You have to be a member of the forum to see it, which shouldn't be a problem for you
  3. Ladies and gentlemen, the time has come. After traveling to 25 cities across the U.S. and Canada, the Carnivores Tour is coming to an end. Linkin Park, Thirty Seconds To Mars, and AFI will perform for one last time together at Concord, California at the Concord Pavilion tonight. This will be Linkin Park's first time performing in Concord - an end is also a new beginning for the band. Yesterday, the band performed at the Sleep Train Amphitheatre (again) in Wheatland, California, where they performed a standard version of Set A, which features 'Points Of Authority' and 'Crawling', as opposed to it's counterpart. Mike rapped a hybrid verse of 'Remember The Name' by Fort Minor, a verse he's been doing for awhile now. He's been playing it safe, not changing up his medley as of recently. What songs would you like to see him rap over his medley? Tonight would be the last time on the Carnivores Tour that he has an opportunity to change it up - and we want to see 'High Voltage', 'Dedicated', and 'Carousel'! Another good way to go out with a bang tonight is changing up the setlist - the band rehearsed Hybrid Theory in full, 'A Light That Never Comes', 'Breaking The Habit', and more for the Carnivores, but those didn't make the cut for the final setlists. 'A Place For My Head' and 'By Myself', two songs that were rehearsed AND are leading the boards on our 2014 Live Poll would be a great way to end out! Check out this epic performance of 'Rebellion' from a few days ago at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, California with special guest, Daron Malakian from System Of A Down! Daron contributed guitars on the album version of the track, and with Mike, Brad, and himself all playing together, it explodes live! Would you like to see a collaboration like this happen again? Maybe a member of AFI or Thirty Seconds To Mars will come out tonight! Speaking of AFI and Thirty Seconds To Mars, they're ready to close out with a bang! AFI performed their average setlist in Wheatland, opening with 'The Leaving Song, Pt. II'. The band implemented new songs like 'I Hope You Suffer' and '17 Crimes' into the set, as well as finding times for some older ones like 'The Days Of The Phoenix' and 'Love Like Winter', too. The band ended their set with a bang with 'Miss Murder'! After the Carnivores Tour, the band will continue touring the United States (making some appearances at festivals alongside Stone Temple Pilots) and stopping by in Mexico at the end of October and the beginning of November (I'm looking at you, JZE!). Thirty Seconds To Mars performed their extended set, featuring an intro hardcore fans may remember - Carl Orff's 'Carmina Burana: O Fortuna', accompanied by their new song from Love Lust Faith + Dreams, 'Up In The Air'. The band implemented new singles like 'Do Or Die' and 'City Of Angels', as well as finding time to play older tracks including 'Search and Destroy'. Giant balloons fell into the crowd during 'This Is War' and Jared went deep into the crowd for 'Kings and Queens'! The band also performed new songs like 'Conquistador' and 'End Of All Days', as well. The band recently added a new song from the album: 'Bright Lights' into the setlist. The band jammed to Metallica's 'Enter Sandman' as Jared invited fans onstage for 'Closer To The Edge' for a huge ending! After the Carnivores Tour, the band will be performing a show in Las Vegas on the 20th, then heading to their extensive rescheduled South American Tour including stops in Argentina, Brazil, and Panama. After that, the band will end their 2014 Touring Cycle in South Africa. Who's heading to the show? All good things must come to an end - and the Carnivores Tour is no exception. We've had memories on the tour - I met the LPLive Crew and became staff on the site during the time of the tour. What memories do YOU have from the tour? Linkin Park will likely end the tour with Set B, featuring 'Dirt Off Your Shoulder/Lying From You', 'Somewhere I Belong', and 'With You'. After this show, the band will take a break for a month while Chester tours with Stone Temple Pilots for a few shows in October. The band will be back in mid-October, when they play for the Circuito Banco de Brasil for two show in Brazil with Panic! at the Disco, before playing two off-tour shows and heading off to Europe with Of Mice & Men. Joe recently confirmed a second U.S. Tour after Europe, so stay tuned for that! Check back here or follow us on Twitter for updates! 4. I HAVE PREVAILED! I'll play seriously for a few rounds now - a bad choice since its getting hard. In Pieces. The least emotionally-impacting of the ones that remain to me.
  5. The Carnivores Tour is on it's final stretch! Linkin Park, Thirty Seconds To Mars, and AFI are performing the second-to-last show of the tour on September 18 at the Sleep Train Amphitheatre in Wheatland, California. Linkin Park has performed in the area two times prior to this show, in 2001 and 2007. The 2001 show saw the band performing with the likes of Marilyn Manson, Slipknot, Papa Roach, and more on the Ozzfest. The band returned years later in 2007 for Projekt Revolution with My Chemical Romance, Taking Back Sunday, HIM, Placebo, and Julien-K. This show is special for Linkin Park's live performance - it was the first show at which they rotated their setlist. Instead of opening with 'One Step Closer' and closing with 'Faint', it opened with the combo of 'Wake' and 'Given Up' and closed with 'Bleed It Out'. The show was also the live debut of 'In Pieces'. The band's previous performance was in Chula Vista, California, where they performed a standard run through of Set B. Set B features the songs 'With You', the 2014 Abridged Version of 'Dirt Off Your Shoulder/Lying From You' from Collision Course, and 'Somewhere I Belong'. Mike rapped the hybrid verse of 'Remember The Name' by Fort Minor over his solo medley - which has become the standard. He's kept the variation of the medley on the low, only rapping 'When They Come For Me' and 'Remember The Name' over the past few shows. What songs do you want to see him rap? According to the poll, 'Dedicated', 'Carousel', and 'High Voltage' are some of the most requested! Speaking of keeping things safe - setlists. Linkin Park hasn't made any major changes to their setlist throughout the entirety of the Carnivores Tour, where there's room for much improvement. The band has rehearsed all of Hybrid Theory, 'A Light That Never Comes', 'No More Sorrow' and more for the Carnivores Tour, but they didn't make it to the final setlists. According to our 2014 Live Poll, you guys want to see 'A Place For My Head' and 'By Myself' among others, two of which have been rehearsed! Do you have any ideas for a new setlist? Post here in our "Custom Setlist" thread! Check out this performance from a few days ago of 'Faint', live from the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, California with special guest, Austin Carlile from Of Mice & Men! On the upcoming The Hunting Party European Tour in November, Of Mice & Men will be supporting Linkin Park throughout the tour. Can we expect a similar collaboration to happen then? Even though the Carnivores Tour is coming to an end, the bands are certainly still rocking it! AFI performed their standard set featuring an opening of 'The Leaving Song, Pt. II', new hits from Burials including '17 Crimes' and 'I Hope You Suffer', older favorites like 'The Days Of The Phoenix' and 'Sing Your Sorrow', and an epic closure of 'Miss Murder'! Thirty Seconds To Mars performed an extended setlist, featuring an old-school opening of Carl Orff's 'Carmina Burana: O Fortuna' and their newer single, 'Up In The Air'. The band incorporated new songs like 'Conquistador' and 'End Of All Days' into their set, while still finding room for older ones like 'Search and Destroy'. The band performed new singles including 'Do Or Die' and 'City Of Angels', too. During 'Kings and Queens', Jared went far out into the crowd to say hello and during 'This Is War', giant balloons flew everywhere! During his acoustic set, Jared Leto performed the band's biggest hit, 'The Kill (Bury Me)'. The band added a new song from Love Lust Faith + Dreams, 'Bright Lights' into the setlist. The band closed the show by jamming to Metallica's 'Enter Sandman' as Jared invited fans from the crowd onstage for 'Closer To The Edge'. Who's heading to the show? The band will most likely perform Set A at the show, which features 'Crawling' and 'Points Of Authority'. Stop by the Music For Relief booth to donate to the cause of helping the effort towards ending the ebola outbreak crisis in Africa. LPLive recently turned 8 years old - to celebrate, we're offering a special download of Linkin Park's performance at the KROQ Weenie Roast in 2001! Go grab it now, and here's to another great year here on LPLive! Check back here for updates on the show or follow us on Twitter. Check out the rest of Linkin Park's 2014 touring schedule here. 6. Wow, you're right. The resemblance is uncanny. Thanks for finding this, now I can not feel guilty about hating Linkin Park forever because they plagiarized this song that you made in 5 seconds 6 months after the song was released. You literally didn't even TRY to make this remotely funny. Literally the worst.
  7. Linkin Park will be performing on the 24 Hours of Reality Charity Livestream between 11:00PM - 12:00AM PST (check what time that'll be for you here). The purpose of the livestream is to raise awareness for all the environmental issues in our world, and what we can do to help stop it. Tune into the livestream here - Linkin Park starts at Hour 14. It's unknown whether the performance will be live or recorded (more than likely it's the latter, due to the band playing a show in Chula Vista, CA today). If it is recorded, we can expect a variety of things: a live performance from the Carnivores Tour, rehearsal footage, etc. Stay tuned for updates!
  8. The Carnivores Tour is finally winding down, but is still on fire! Linkin Park, Thirty Seconds To Mars, and AFI will be rocking the stage at the Sleep Train Amphitheatre in Chula Vista, California tonight for the third-to-last show of the Carnivores Tour. Last night in Los Angeles, the band streamed the concert via VyRT - there were technical difficulties (mostly during MARS' set - there was some sort of hijacking occurring), but it ended up being a great experience. Linkin Park has performed in Chula Vista plenty of times before: in 2001, 2004, 2007, and 2012. They also played in the area back in July for the mtvU Fandom Awards at Comic Con. The band performed there for the first time back in 2001 as part of Rock 105.3's When Bands Attack, alongside Deftones, Staind, P.O.D, and more. Brad became frustrated with his gear after the show, kicked an iron door, and managed to break his foot. Karma! In 2004, the band performed on Projekt Revolution with Korn, Snoop Dogg, The Used, and Less Than Jake. Jonathan Davis from Korn came out to sing during the extended bridge of 'One Step Closer' and Ivan the Urban Action Figure danced during 'It's Goin' Down'. In 2007, the band dropped 'Given Up' and 'QWERTY' for an unknown reason, but this ended up introducing an interesting combo: 'Wake' and 'From The Inside'. Awesome! In 2012, the band ended the Honda Civic Tour with a show in Chula Vista. Recently in San Diego the band performed for the mtvU Fandom Awards, performing an interesting setlist for concert-goers. This show was extremely close to the venue they're playing at today - more or less than 10 miles! Yesterday, the band performed at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, California, and boy, was this a show for the record books! The band performed a standard version of Set A (the first time they've broken the regular setlist rotation on this tour), but with a few twists. For one, a very minor change - Mike rapped 'Points Of Authority' over the extended intro of 'Until It's Gone' instead of the first verse of 'With You', presumably by mistake. Mike rapped 'Remember The Name' by Fort Minor over his solo medley, keeping it safe. Mike hasn't varied his medley up too much recently - what songs do you want to see him rap? According to that poll, you guys want to see 'Dedicated', 'Carousel', and 'High Voltage'! Though the band didn't make any major changes to the setlist, they did have some additions - guests, that is! Daron Malakian from System Of A Down came out to perform 'Rebellion' with the band, and Austin Carlile from Of Mice & Men came out to perform 'Faint'! Linkin Park will be touring with Of Mice & Men later this year for their European Tour - can we expect anymore collabs with Austin soon? Check out this beautiful performance of 'Final Masquerade' from a few days ago in Quincy, Washington. The band has been keeping their setlists the same all tour - do you think it's time for a change? The band has rehearsed songs like 'A Place For My Head' and 'No More Sorrow', two songs which you really want to see according to our 2014 Live Poll, but they didn't make the cut. Whipping out one of those songs would really end the tour with a bang! The other bands on the Carnivores Tour are still killing it, too! AFI performed their standard setlist, opening with 'The Leaving Song, Pt. II', including hits like '17 Crimes' and 'I Hope You Suffer', old favorites like 'Silver and Cold' and 'Love Like Winter', and an epic closing with 'Miss Murder'. After dropping it for one show, the band brought back 'The Days Of The Phoenix', the oldest song in their setlist. Thirty Seconds To Mars performed a shortened setlist do to the delay cause by Jared helping out with the VyRT incident that crashed the site - props to him for still delivering to us! They ended up streaming the concert for free (and part of Linkin Park's set, too), but those who paid will be accommodated soon, so don't worry! A ReVyRT of the show will also be happening soon, in case you missed it. The band opened with the old school opener of Carl Orff's 'Carmina Burana: O Fortuna' and their new hit, 'Up In The Air'. They performed hits like 'This Is War' and 'Kings and Queens', as well as new singles like 'Do Or Die' and 'City Of Angels'. Jared dedicated 'Do Or Die' to a fan from Iraq who was watching on VyRT. He went deep into the crowd during 'Kings and Queens' and giant balloons went everywhere during 'This Is War'. Jared had to shorten 'The Kill' to the first verse and second chorus because of time constraints. They closed the show with a tease of Metallica's 'Enter Sandman' and Jared inviting fans from the crowd onstage for 'Closer To The Edge'! If you're planning to see MARS on one of the remaining dates, expect to hear 'End Of All Days', a longer acoustic set, and possibly 'Bright Lights', which recently made its tour debut back in Quincy, Washington. Who's heading to the show? The band will likely perform Set B tonight - there's a decent chance the guests from the previous show may come out again! A fun fact - this is the only time in the band's history that the band will be performing at two completely different venues that have the same name (the next is at the Sleep Train Amphitheatre in Wheatland, CA!). If you didn't read it before - the Hollywood Bowl VyRT will be ReVyRTed some time in the future, so be no the look out for that. Stop by the Music For Relief booth in order to help end to the ebola outbreak taking place in Africa. At around 11:00PM PST, Linkin Park will be performing on the 24 Hours of Reality livestream, so stay tuned for that! It's currently unknown whether it'll be an actual live performance or a pre-recorded track, but it's more likely than not the latter. Watch the stream too, and learn a thing or two about what we're doing to our environment, and how we can help it. For updates on the show, check back here later or follow us on Twitter! Check out the rest of Linkin Park's 2014 touring schedule here. Setlist 01. Mashup Intro #2 02. Guilty All The Same 03. Given Up 04. With You 05. One Step Closer (Ext. Outro) 06. 9. The show will be rebroadcast in a few days. I'll keep you updated if anyone's interested
  10. http://lplive.net/shows/db/2000andearlier/20000905 During OSC, Brad broke a string.
  11. Definitely glad I stayed up for this, some great moments at this show. Show page is up: http://lplive.net/shows/db/2014/20140915
  12. So when the Echelon crash it it's like "FUCK THIS WEBSITE" but when the Soldiers do it it's like "FUCK YEAH LINKIN PARK"
  13. I don't know if I should take insult to that or not
  14. You have all the right to want to watch them, and you're right, you did pay. But the point is, they're trying to deliver the best they can. Complaining about it won't really help, it'll just add to your frustration.
  15. You speak as if you are currently missing LP's set, which you're not - you're missing MARS's set, which you couldn't care less about. So instead of complaining about it, let's just hope they can settle every thing out. Believe. They're trying their best.
  16. They like setting goals for ticket sales to unlock stuff. In the past 24 hours we managed to sell 1000 tickets so Jared will dedicate 'Do Or Die' to someone onstage.
  17. Extremely. It's not just MARS though - it's the VyRT team. It's kinda stupid for the free stuff (VyRT Violet) but it's somewhat understandable for actual live shows.
